I think the concept of "scam bounty" is not correct. I think that there are projects - scammers. And the bounty from them, respectively, is also fraud. In my opinion Crypto world is full of scam... Before investing or participating in bounty we need to do as much research as we can... Bounty campaign is one of best things to earn cryto free.

You can never really know which bounty is a scam or not.
Some even high profile ICOs that I know of last year scammed the bounty community.
It's 50-50 hit in my experience. Some even changed bounty rules last minute and required bounty hunters to do KYC or contribute to the ICO event.
It's just part of the unregulated cryptoverse that we are in.
That was a tough question, even I can give an advise to be wise and vigilant in anyway but scammers are now evolving and getting more wiser than you. Anyway still I want you to know my advise and hope it will help you to avoid scam ICO projects: check the profile of the team do some research and stalk them if their profile are true, when the ICO continue posting and having everyday updates that is not a scam, look at their white papers if nice and smooth.

Well try to research first and ask some people who already experience in this kind of platform so that you have a prior knowledge on what is a scam and the legit one. Try to research the background first and read a lot about their campaign if it do so, Try to see if the spread is updating because if it was not then leave it as early as possible. Lastly have faith in your campaign because without this thing nothing will work properly and successfully.
