I made a request yesterday for withdrawing 0.x bitcoins from poloniex and was Awaiting for approval for almost 24 hours.
Now when I checked for the deposit and withdrawal history the transaction request was removed.
It says that I should complete the profile first, what do you think guys should i make a withdrawal request again as the blockchain split is very near?

I decided to move all my exchange from polo to bittrex for one simple reason, polo seems to have the worst ( or even innexistant ) support i've seen so far.

I applyed for lvl2 verif on both bittrex and polo at the same date, few hours later bittrex was approved but polo never did and it's now more than 3 weeks. I made a ticket for the issue one week ago and still no answer. After just little google i found numerous other people that had issue with polo and took ages before they have answer.

The move went kinda smooth other than the confirmation lin from polo that all linked to "oops error on confirmation link" but ended up transfering the coins correctly. Another nail in the coffin polo ...

You also have a shit load more shitcoins than poloniex and lack of liquidity may give better spreads which is good for trading.

Have you looked at Cryptopia also?

I'm thinking to move from Poloniex to Bittrex too.
There are many reasons but one of them is the "Awaiting Approval".
I made two request at the same time and the poloniex one is still pending, it's been many hours and still waiting.
Bittrex seems more flexible in this case, liqui is a good one too, the withdrawal doesn't take days etc.

I would say, excellent decision. Poloniex have been non responsive for past few weeks, lesser coins compare to bittrex
and 1 good advantage of bittrex is newly released coin gets added quickly

I have done this few weeks ago for same reason like yours, polo can't be trusted specially when there is chaos in the market like hardfork and segwit activation. I think they will go down during first week of august like they used to before during huge price movements.

Bittrex is really smooth and always up till now and hope they can be number one exchange platform within next few years.

I think the same thing about poloniex and I can't understand how they have this much volüme and customers on their platform. Customer support is terrible on poloniex!

The main reason poloniex has bigger volume than bittrex is down to their margin trading, it allows people to trade much more than they actually have.

I too want to transfer all my coins from polo to bittrex because of the issue that has been going on about polo. I used to love this exchange but as time goes by their support gets worst. I remember sending a ticket about my withdrawal last May and guess what I received a reply from them just this month isn't it sucks? I hope I won't be dealing delays when I transfer my coins from polo to trex.

That's suck. There was a guy who also have same situation like yours, and he got done that after waited for around 3-4 weeks. But polo isn't exchange site which have bad supports but it's yobi who doesn't give any reply for months (around 6 months).

Bittrex and Poloniex become the most famous trading sites and there are some issues regards both exchanges.
But, as long as you fell it is better than other, the choice is in your hand, I just recommend to be careful and put some amount that you can afford to lose, just in case. Because my bittrex account ever got hacked or locked, do not want to use their service anymore.
So far both exchange is the biggest exchange at this time. Polo is currently having trouble and there are already many reports on this exchange. Bittrex for me to be the main choice, all transactions run smoothly. For account security make sure that we can secure as best as possible. Because keeping our data confidential is not a benchmark of an exchange.

Polo turned into a exchange place where you can't get even an answer for your support tickets. So you did the right thing here. You won't regret for trading on bittrex. Bittrex is more Professional than poloniex, I believe. The only problem with bittrex is low volüme compared to poloniex.

It's sad to read posts or topics like these because it'll bring down Poloniex traders but it is what it is. And lately they have been having many issues aside from withdrawals of different altcoins but also their support is low. People went crazy at first when they took out the chatbox on Poloniex which was the only way to address the issues easily.

it seems poloniex has two dead guys and a commodore 64 with a single floppy drive and 100baud audio coupling modem in their server room.

I use both and bttrex is vastly superior in every way. I leave a little in polo cause transfer fees are high but poloniex is really a bag of shit. On top of that they freeze major coins all the time like a game against customers. Poloniex sucks so bad

Lol.  And the C64 is on the fritz half the time.

OP, do whatever feels right.  I've used Polo before and they weren't bad,  but these exchanges drive me insane with their shitty customer service.  No reputable stock broker would get away with half the shenanigans the crypto exchanges do, and that needs to change.  The only way to accomplish that is to vote with your feet.  I wish more people had the cojones you have and switched when they act up.  Props, dude.

I have been trading with poloniex for quite some time now and I think they are doing well except in the area of response to same request made. Bittrex is also not bad as they have a good customer care. I do have account with them also and have no any complaints against them. Op I will advise you should be patient for some time and your problem will be resolved.
Exactly, except about issue support in poloniex and reward as BCC, Stellar from give away for user Bitcoin. I not see any issue from Poloniex in current, it have good volume for scapling and day trader. Special about the volatility in Poloniex very interesting with trader want earning profit fast!

I think its about time. A lot of people here have moved to Bittrex as well. With the same reasons as yours, support is not very good. Literally tickets is lined up in queue and no one is responding to it.

No!
for the god sake, don't let a single your coin in there.
who knows what will happen if you're the unlucky one ? you should know, many people complained about Poloniex service and look at current drama,Until right now we/I(i don't know if you know about it or not) don't know what will happen to people who's holding their BTC in there.
Will they support BCC/BCH and will give user their share based on their split or not ?

Who knows they may be will become another Gox'ed? Because these days their activity a bit too shady and questionable,
from pending withdrawal for a month, freezing user account without proper explanation and verification issue

I don't want to mentioned it, but since you said, that's what I'm afraid of. Maybe it will be hacked and all your funds will be gone. (Well, I hope not for those who are still using Bittrex).

You did the right thing there. Bittrex is way better than poloniex. When i started trading my trader friend recommended me poloniex and so i started my trading there but later i found that many users have problems going on with polo. Fortunately i didnt encounter any problem with polo but prevention is better than cure and so i moved from polo to bittrex. Bittrex is quite good from polo. It has a better interface than polo and it actually gives you a real feeling of a trader. LOL
