Poloniex has one of the worst support teams, I've heard stories of accounts trading around in high volumes being closed indefinitely without any reasons. For an exchange as big as polo, they should at least possess an able support team which still isn't the case.

Bittrex, on the other hand has a flawless support team with very fast response times. That is why I prefer Bittrex over Polo as the major exchange I use.

Damn straight. i don't know why the larger a service provider gets the more it gets to the opposite of it-- i mean polo has the highest trading volume when it comes to altcoins, if

i were them i should maintain it but polo seems to be going the opposite--moving backwards i guess. this is just a guess but if this continues it'll only be a matter of time before

bittrex becomes the exchange with the highest volume.

Polo has a bad reputation in regards to customer care and some bugs on their service while Bittrex is an a-okay exchange. Been using both exchanges for 2 years but to be honest, user experience is much better from Bittrex than Polo in all aspects.

Also, wrong board. Move this to Service Discussion.

After reading from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=420836.2380 and various about poloniex. It looks like op chooses a wise path to move to bittrex considering for now many people are complaining about poloniex service. but behind it all goes back to your own choice whether you want to stay in poloniex or move on to bittrex

it seems poloniex has two dead guys and a commodore 64 with a single floppy drive and 100baud audio coupling modem in their server room.

I use both and bttrex is vastly superior in every way. I leave a little in polo cause transfer fees are high but poloniex is really a bag of shit. On top of that they freeze major coins all the time like a game against customers. Poloniex sucks so bad

Is this for good? I think its better if  you leave some btc on polo  for some arbitrage whenever there is an opportunity. Polo is a good place also to trade but yes, sometimes its support is slow. They may have many more issues  to resolve  or they lack some staff to handle it.

No!
for the god sake, don't let a single your coin in there.
who knows what will happen if you're the unlucky one ? you should know, many people complained about Poloniex service and look at current drama,Until right now we/I(i don't know if you know about it or not) don't know what will happen to people who's holding their BTC in there.
Will they support BCC/BCH and will give user their share based on their split or not ?

Who knows they may be will become another Gox'ed? Because these days their activity a bit too shady and questionable,
from pending withdrawal for a month, freezing user account without proper explanation and verification issue

I decided to move all my exchange from polo to bittrex for one simple reason, polo seems to have the worst ( or even innexistant ) support i've seen so far.

I applyed for lvl2 verif on both bittrex and polo at the same date, few hours later bittrex was approved by polo never did and it's now more than 3 weeks. I made a ticket for the issue one week ago and still no answer. After just little google i found numerous other people that had issue with polo and took ages before they have answer.

The move went kinda smooth other than the confirmation lin from polo that all linked to "oops error on confirmation link" but ended up transfering the coins correctly. Another nail in the coffin polo ...
You are right to move your balance to Bittrex, Poloniex has so many mistakes recently, moreover, Bittrex accept to give users BCC 1:1 with the amount of BTC they have in their wallets.
