I watched it unfold live on the Tone Vays stream... brilliant coverage and insight

So who's going to win out?

Is there a future for either?

Is there so much disagreement within the communities that one or both of them will work again at some point?

Will they fork themselves into oblivion?

Can a fork from bitcoin ever be successful?

These thoughts and many more... thought I'd stick them all into one post... please share yours

All these fork things are now becoming a joke and it is not helping in any manner to help crypto succeed people are laughing at this fight of hash war between Craig white and roger ver Jihan wu.
It also shows how a couple of people with tons of bitcoins can manipulate the market single-handedly.

totally crap coin. Binance has already delisted bitcoin cash due to the these shitty forks. I guess there was still a chance for these coins to generate more and more forks in the future. Both of these coins are totally crap. after the deposit for ABC and SV will have opened on binance and then there will be a huge dump.
It is not like they have delisted BCH completely, and people should stop getting it wrong. BCH was meant to have a network upgrade which results to the bitcoincashABC, and then a contentious hard fork which would cause a chain split, which in this case is the BitcoinCashSV, and what binance have only changed with BCH right now is the ticker for BCH, so in a way, it is more like you still have the same BCH but in a different name and then before the fork whatever you are holding in BCH, you have the same figure as well for BSV.

Nevertheless, that does not change the fact that BCH has always been a stupid fork, and an unnecessary one, and for as long as I want to care, it remains a shit coin and every other coin that probably forks out of it, remains the same.

It think the two are just kind of mere player that only create wealth for those that are wealthy before and has nothing to offer cause the bch claimed to be the real btc and here we are again with the two dev making a separate way so who is claiming a real btc now , which should occur to every one that they are just selfish and has nothing to offer.

I think this hardfork only brought confusion to the ranks of crypto-enthusiasts and ordinary people  just watching the crypto-currencies. When the market loses capitalization as quickly as it happened the day before yesterday, many will doubt, and whether to start investing at all. I initially didn't like bitcoin cash, and its forks even more so, I think the people involved in this - played too long and i see nothing good about it. I only support bitcoin core.

I think these forked coins will be nothing more than some useless altcoins, they definitely serve no purpose and i think there was no need of fork if there was some issue then they would have upgraded their network to resolve the issues.

Hello,

Its just rich people burning their money, dont get distracted
Focus on learning more and on the people who build things

Cheers

Good advice and I do... in particular with the dapp development platforms ethereum, eos, cardanno, iota etc

I'm just intrigued what people think the fall out of this will be and it's effect on btc

And do not forget Stellar Lumen project, it has a lot of potential and some project used it as their network base lately. Stellar blockchain is the fastest blockchain that we ever have, because it only takes 2~5 seconds to get confirmed by the network.

about people that fall for it, well we could not blame them because it needs a 'knowledge' to understand all of this. even though it only requires a little of it, but it does not mean any common people that does not know anything about cryptocurrency and its technology in particular way will understand this kind of situation. most of them are here for a quick money, not for its technology and development.

I think that all this is nothing more than just a bubble that will burst very soon, as it was last year, because last year Roger Ver promoted the idea of SegWit, which also began to revive the market at that very time.

I just realized that Bitcoin cash is also a Fork in the original Bitcoin, and not so long, they now start a fork which is BTCABC and BTCSV. My thoughts about it is that, there might be so much free money on the forking process. Too bad missed it.

I feel as though SV is going to win out in the long term because CSW is willing to see it through to the end. Jihan Wu seems more likely to remain focused on bitcoin mining than on making ABC a success.

Long term I don't think either will be a success as they can't compete with bitcoin.

Roger Ver and Craig Wright are both pretty aggressive characters... real shame I used to have loads of respect for Roger Ver but he is dedicated...

I'm not sure about Craig Wright... I think he'd cut off his nose to spite his face... something really odd about that guy

I'm kinda hoping ABC and Roger Ver wins out... lesser of two evils scenario for me

I don't hold any faith either have long term staying power BUT Roger Ver I do believe is a genuine talented and creative guy... I wouldn't be surprised that he could turn things around whatever he gets involved in

This is the battle of the titans, which we observe from the side. Current sale off is directly connected to who gets to keep control for Bitcoin cash after fork.

Its only who gets to keep hold of the BCH ticker symbol right?

I mean both chains are legitimate

At least thats what I think Bitfinex's stance was
