To save personal data is practically impossible now, I think. But it shouldn't be stolen anyway. First, users must be warne, and the second - they must be rewarded for sharing.

A feeling of security surrounding my data, ownership of data, privacy, and the likes. This is my biggest concern and makes me want to get rid of all social media full stop. But that is difficult to do, and I wish we could change this status quo where Companies have monopolies on our social data.

social networking service (also social networking site, SNS or social media) is an online platform that people use to build social networks or social relations with other people who share similar personal or career interests, activities, backgrounds or real-life connections. The variety of stand-alone and built-in social networking services currently available online introduces challenges of definition; however, some common features exist:

social networking services are Internet-based applications
user-generated content (UGC) is the lifeblood of SNS organisations. Online community services are sometimes considered[by whom?] social-network services, though in a broader sense, a social-network service usually provides an individual-centered service whereas online community services are group-centered. Social networking sites allow users to share ideas, digital photos and videos, posts, and to inform others about online or real-world activities and events with people in their network. While in-person social networking – such as gathering in a village market to talk about events – has existed since the earliest development of towns,[citation needed] the Web enables people to connect with others who live in different locations, ranging from across a city to across the world. Depending on the social media platform, members may be able to contact any other member. In other cases, members can contact anyone they have a connection to, and subsequently anyone that contact has a connection to, and so on. LinkedIn, a career-oriented social-networking service, generally requires that a member personally know another member in real life before they contact them online. Some services require members to have a preexisting connection to contact other members.
The main types of social networking services contain category places[clarification needed] (such as former school-year or classmates), means to connect with friends (usually with self-description pages), and a recommendation system linked to trust. One can categorize social-network services into three types:

socializing social network services used primarily for socializing with existing friends (e.g., Facebook)
networking social network services used primarily for non-social interpersonal communication (e.g., LinkedIn, a career- and employment-oriented site)
social navigation social network services used primarily for helping users to find specific information or resources (e.g., Goodreads for books)
There have been attempts to standardize these services to avoid the need to duplicate entries of friends and interests (see the FOAF standard). A study reveals that India recorded world's largest growth in terms of social media users in 2013.[6] A 2013 survey found that 73% of U.S. adults use social-networking sites.

There are many things that I would like social networks to have and not to have. I would like it to have authentications so that it will be possible to lessen people who are creating useless accounts and to lessen people who create account using other people's name and data. It would also better to have no advertisements, no spams and no more useless updates.

The biggest problem with social media platforms is that they are expensive to run and the most convenient way to cover costs is by targeted advertising, which requires harvesting users' personal information. My hope is that by incorporating cryptocurrency it will be possible for platforms to cover costs in other ways, for example built-in microtransactions that can serve as the basis of a revenue source that doesn't involve violating people's privacy.

Facebook recently added a feature to send money over it's messenger and I think it will benefit a lot of people mostly with family providers working miles away from home.

Facebook will better kill itself, than share a penny with somebody. By the way, now it is really killing itself)))))

The advantages of Internet technology have made it possible to appear a good number of websites to expedite social relations among the people around the world. These are known as social network services. Facebook is the most popular. Other networking services are goggle, Twitter, linkedIn etc. Social network services are web-based. They are giving ways for the users to interact through the Internet. The services have made it possible to connect people sharing their interests and activities throughout the world. People all over the world feel that they live together in a global village. Social network services are expanding fast for some reasons. They are less costly. The users can make personal profiles and upgrade their profile. They can upload picture, multimedia contents and modify profiles. They are allowed to post blog entries. They can take privacy protection measures too.

Social network is a good. With the advancement in technology, communication has grown. It is now easier and cheap to communicate and connect with people across the world. The issue of distance is no longer an excuse for lack of communication. Communication systems have grown from wired devices to wireless devices.

I could tell much to answer this question. But the main things  I would like to see in everyone - rewarding users' activity, coins, boostering system, investing programs, system of curation, special features (that make this project different from others).

Well, I would make me feel better if there's no posting of personal grudges and cursing on their social media account whenever they have quarrel with someone else, and sometimes inappropriate ads which is not good.

Its purpose is to promote and aid communication. However, this type of technology might be doing more harm than good. ... Social networking affects our lives in many ways, including our communication, self- expression, bullying, isolation, friendships, and even our very own sense of humanity.
