In time do you guys think that SOL will overtake ETH in market cap? Why or why not in your opinion? Does SOL have more potential/ room to grow ?
I do not think SOL will overtake ETH in a short time because SOL needs more time to increase the market cap and invite more investors to join in the SOL project. But that could happen in the future as the project can get more people to join. SOL have the potential to grow but we never know when the market cap will increase. Besides that, SOL will get many corrections like what happened to ETH so the investors need to be careful.

Before being able to beat ETH, Solana has to beat BNB first, and this is not an easy thing. Yesterday SOL almost caught up to BNB's marketcap, but CZ managed to make BNB's marketcap rise much higher than SOL. 
solana won't be able to overtake ethereum, just see how ethereum trades on the market, high fees don't affect the popularity of ethereum. the ethereum community ecosystem will not be surpassed by solana. when solana is bullish then ethereum will continue to be bullish too.
In the near future I think Solana has not been able to overtake Ethereum in market cap. although many complain about Ethereum because of crazy transaction fees, but still ethereum has a lot of users and has a market cap of around 8 times the market cap of Solana. But Solana has a chance to overtake Ethereum if the issue of Ethereum transaction fees is not resolved.
