That was quite the market boom overnight. It's evident that the addition on Kucoin was a very good thing for Solaris. The volume there has been equal or greater then on CoinExchange, which has also had a big increase in daily volume. The market wants more Solaris and with a very small total coin cap each year that only bodes well for higher prices by the end of 2018. Smiley
You are likely extremely optimistic about XLR price by the end of 2018. Those pumps would came from miners so its chart looks like a spike. Should be careful.
As I mentioned before, its price has dumped in recent days (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/solaris/) I think it should be under 200K satoshi that makes sense.

Is there some info on hashrate mining XLR on typical GPU cards? I've found some info that Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 gets 3.3 MH/s, is that correct? How about other Nvidia cards? Are AMD cards much worse?

My 1080ti's I get 16.9 on 3 cards, so about 5.6mh/s each, running roughly 225watts apiece.  I haven't wanted to take my RX580s off Eth, nor have I bothered trying to figure out the sgminer fork for xevan yet.  If I do I'll update with it.

Thank you.

The Concierge of Crypto
Hi I have been running a masternode on an Raspberry Pi for over 24 hours, everytihng seems to be fine, no errors reported, status = enabled on my local wallet, getmasternodestatus from the debug console seems fine. However I have received no payout yet. Is there a way to check for payouts due, or other tests to make sure everything is configured correctly?

Thanks
Wait another 8 hours? Let us know if you still don't have payments then. It takes about 24 hours for the masternode to be recognized by the network, before they start paying. Then you should be getting rewards about 2 or 3 times a day after that.

Buy 1 or 2 or 3 well known branded USB flash drives. Don't use free or cheap ones. Good brands are Sandisk, Lexar, Kingston, PNY ... maybe Silicon Power and Moweek too. Don't buy any other brands.

Buy the smallest one, they cost $10 to $20 USD each. Backup your wallet. Zip the wallet. Rar the wallet. Send those 3 files to each USB flash drive.

Your 1000 XLR is worth how much today? About 2.6 BTC, or about $45k USD. Keep that Windows XP box for Angry Birds or Roblox. Don't put your wallet there.

hey, so am trying to set up multiple masternodes. four to be exact. i was wondering which of the vps should i buy from timevps. should i get the 1 x 240 ghz cpu or the 4 x 2.40 ghz? thats in advance for the replies. i appreciate it.
I would get 4 different VPS accounts with 4 different VPS providers, just because you're making $70 a day, so you can pay $5 to $10 a month from 4 different companies. You make your money back in 2 or 3 days.

v2.3.2.0 wont work on my win 10 pro 64bit

I am gettin MinGW Runtime Assertion error:
Assertion failed!
Program:
C:\users\...........\solaris-qt.exe
Fail: main:cpp, Line 3743

Expression: !setBlockindexCandidates.empty()

HELP!

Try this "through the window" method.
That is what i used and it worked for me.
It can be likened to re-syncing and re-indexing.

Close your Solaris-qt
Open your AppData/Roaming/Solaris  then delete all EXCEPT for
  • wallet.dat
  • masternode.conf
  • solaris.conf

Then restart your wallet (launch only the version 2.3.2.0)

NB: I would recommend that you DO NOT use winodows XP for crypto wallets or other online activity that requires security for the same reason Dabs gave

Yeah it worked out bro but also my balance has disappeared....i didnt touch wallet.dat

Now it synchronizing from the beginning...hopefully my coins will appear when it is done...

Any coins you had should show up when your wallet synchronizes up to the block that you first received those coins.  I'd highly recommend also making wallet backups to a separate hard drive, or even better to an external device so that you will have them if your PC croaks on you some day. Smiley

... on a new Windows XP computer. ...

There are no new Windows XP computers. Maybe you have an old Windows XP computer. That OS has been discontinued and unsupported since about 4 years ago. Don't use it online.
