Web wallet is a good option for my users of faucets, they have few experience and cannot create conf file,  so web wallet is a solution.
It would be good if web wallet had PoS, but if not I don't think it's a problem.

How I said I will create some more interesting faucets for XLR, but currently I work on payment API on cryptohub.  It would be used to get payments in XLR on a website using this API.  I would like to create some probably-fair lottery,  what is opinion of community, can it help to grow to then coin?

I agree that the web wallet will be a great option for faucets users as like you said they are inexperienced and don't know how to create a .conf I was one of them a year ago and used to claim from faucets all the time but have since learned a lot. As there are always great people to help when it is needed like I try and do for people who need help.

I've been slowly building my bag as people seem to dump their Solaris which I don't mind taking off their hands.

I really do not get the point of this project. Who are the people behind it? Why don't they show their faces or their background to justify investing in this coin? Questionable.

I really do not get the point of this post. If you are looking for faces maybe try facebook. If you do not know why to buy these coins better go to bank with your money.

Can someone shill me this coin? What's the badass USP? Anything cool on the horizon other than masternodes?

It's super cheap with a very active dev. Other than that most are waiting to see what's on the horizon.

This is great news dev about a web wallet, I have a question with this web wallet and that is will people be able to stake using this web wallet? I have seen a few other staking coins have a web wallet which allowed them to stake so I'm just wondering if that this wallet was going to allow staking. I'll start sharing this news with my Twitter followers and be sure to keep re-tweeting the tweets.

Good news about the web wallet. It's nice to see dev is very active and cares about the project. Just don't make me buy too many cheap coins as we all know how that is going to end when the price is 10x jk

I'm using Windows 10 64-bit.   First time I launch wallet I got an error and even with config file it still won't sync.  Is there some type of dependency I'm missing?

Link to a diff windows wallet?

Thanks!

What kind of error do you get?

I got some generic error about a database that I get with some wallets, and even with relaunch and config it won't sync =(

is it a new wallet ?
I also get sometimes database error with other coins.
with Solaris not . everything is going smoothly.

but what I do in that case of problem .
I close my wallet
then I backup my wallet.dat and copy it too a safe place.
then delete everything in the map where you conf. file is. but. let the wallet.dat file stays and the config file also .
and then restart the wallet.
most of the time that helps database error.

but most importantly always backup your wallet.dat when you are messing around in that map
hope it helps

Thank you once again dev for the payment! I look forward to the news updates after August 20th which isn't long to wait now. In the meantime I will be mining and staking Solaris to accumulate as many Solaris as I can. This coin is one of my favourite long term coins and will only get better as more developments are released.

Please get this coin listed somewhere else. Cryptopia is a total ripoff. They charge 0.0008 BTC to move your bitcoin off the exchange and into your private wallet. Poloniex only charges 0.0001 BTC. At BTC=$4200, that's a $3.36 fee from Cryptopia but only $0.42 fee from Poloniex. What a scam...
Buy altcoin on cryptopia , transfer to another exchange , sell altcoin, transfer BTC to wallet. U can even earn some in this operation.

Anyone wanna bulk sell some XLR at reasonable rate?

Are there no sell orders on Cryptopia?  If they are too high then make a buy order and see if anyone bites.
