Sad you dont ship to Canada. I will check if I can get them shipped to somewhere in US. Will let you know.

Yeah, sorry about that - I've just had too many mixed experiences shipping outside the US, customs is just too fickle, and I hate that they send you bills for things weeks after they arrive.

As always MarkAz your setup is awesome!  Shocked

Great job man. Sad to see that you need to sell them. I guess the diff upgrade kill the project.  Undecided

Thanks!  Actually it's primarily problems with the landlord at our second location, but the difficulty just gives us less of a window to make other plans.  These baby's need to be running to make money, and right now they're just sitting in boxes.  Poor little guys... They just need a new home and some love (and by love I mean power)!  Wink

I'd like one or two A6 but where do you find the USB adapter? I already have a Raspberry Pi.

You can buy them from any of the Avalon dealers, like Zoomhash or from BlockC directly - they typically sell the Pi+case+controller+power supply together for $75, so figure the controller is probably ~$20.  Then just flash an SD card with the Avalon firmware and you're in business.

There is a group buy for 2.3BTC so his price is fair considering its not 0.50W/GHS equipment.

Very nice design! I know you mentioned non-negotiable but given the next diff of 20%+  and no end in sight along with flat BTC price, I'm interested at 1.5 per miner. Just figured I toss it out there in case you don't get much interest at the 1.9 price.

Thanks for your consideration,

Just to add to the sentiments here you can definitely buy with confidence from MarkAz. He sold me my first Bitcoin miners, S5s, and they have been a dream to own with his laser cut mods. I was new to the Bitcoin schism and he answered all my noob questions via PM and never with a sense of grandios since he was an OG to BTC mining as I call him lol...or is that OBTCG (Original BTC Gansta lol) You run into these egos all the time when dealing with others, but not with MarkAz.

Since I was purchasing with FIAT he allowed me to use Escrow.com which I haven't found anyone on the forums that has been willing to accept. I also trust OGNasty whole heartedly as he has saved me from a few scam attempts since my start in November. In my opinion you cannot go wrong using these two. OGNasty responds at lightning fast speeds and MarkAz delivers as promised. How can you ask for anything better than that!

Really nice setup.  Did you ever decide on selling a 2880 fan kit?

Thanks!  Wink  The plenum design works wonders for managing heat...  That's actually the 'v2' version, my 'v3' rack is slightly different, and makes it so it's possible to remove machines individually - with the v2 one, I had to remove any machines to the left of the one I needed to remove.  Thankfully the Avalons have been really reliable, so it wasn't an issue working with them, but with the S7's it was much more of a pain.

As far as the fan kit, I've thought about it, but haven't had time - as you can see from the setup, I run two A6's per 2880W, so there's a fair bit of headroom on the PSU, and the 120mm fan is PWM with a thermal sensor set on top of the hottest portion of the PSU.  With ~2200w load, the PSU isn't silent, but it's definitely more on the quiet side than the loud side - and it's night and day different from the stock fans.

I have a fair number of Avalon A6's that I'm selling - most have been in use since they were initially released, and all work flawlessly.  They've been housed in a temperature controlled environment, although in the winter that basically means everyplace - and they've been run exclusively on 240v server PSU's.

You can see the action shots here:

and here are some of them running in one of my plenum's:

I'm selling them for 1.9BTC each, INCLUDING shipping - I only ship in the domestic US, not Canada or International (sorry).  Price is non-negotiable, and is for the Avalon A6 itself and the link cable, so you'll need either buy the Pi+usb adapter or already have an Avalon A6 to chain it off of.  For anyone who buys 8, I'll include a Pi+usb adapter, so you'll have a fully functional rig (this was the configuration I ran them as).

If you want to buy one, then act fast because I suspect they'll sell quickly, I only will accept BTC, and everything escrowed through OgNasty (buyer pays escrow fees) - no direct BTC to me, so no scammers pretending.  They'll ship within one day of the escrow being ok'd by OgNasty (so sometimes same day, depending on whether we get it in time).

PM me if you have any questions, or start the escrow through OgNasty and PM me if you're only buying a couple.  I'll keep the thread updated so when I'm down to my last 10 or so, then just make sure to contact me first.
