if you are desperate to sell the house that you have only for cryptocurrency then it really is the beginning of the highest loss because with cryptocurrency you do not have guaranteed profits, if you want to use capital then to be safer it's better to use your trading capital for bitcoin and don't buy any altcoin that's because it can threaten the assets you have.
In case if this was not the last OP's house, then I think it's okay. One house more, one house less - no problems  Cool

this is my current investments. do u have any suggestion

20k$ = BNB
20k$ = ADA
20k$ = EOS
20k$ = XEM
20k$ = NEO
10k$ = XRP

I honestly think it's a bad choice ...
100% ALT is not the best solution I advise you to include bitcoin at least 50% and spread the other 50 percent in tokens and especially the ripple which is the currency of banks and the strongest token ( in my opinion)

You just posted these coins but not giving us this idea and why you choose those or who recommend these coins, I find it hard to understand why Bitcoin and Ethereum is not included when both coins control the market and they are dominating and most preferred coins in the market, you must have a good reason but at least us those reasons.

Is it real you sell your house for buying altcoin?
If yes that is kinda crazy... maybe you have some house, right?
I recommended you always have backup Bitcoin, on altcoin there is now is still hard to bullish.
Hope you know when you must sell your portofolio. That is not for you save lifetime.

I'm sure he has another house to live in.
But it's also crazy to sell a house and 100% invest in altcoins. I think he should hold more than 60% bitcoin in his portofolio because altcoins sometimes can crash more than 10% in just one hour which mean so danger with his big investment

whether or not true about what you have done it but I think you dare to take risks by investing in altcoin. I will not talk at length only my advice if you like altcoin, reconsider before you invest in altcoin, make sure the altcoin you choose is already listed at the top of the market. but don't forget to set aside a portion of your funds by investing in bitcoin.
If you did check which coins he invested with then you'll not going to reiterate his portfolio, as he invested with coins inside top 20 from the list. Though he did not put anything if he also have BTC and ETH which very common for long term holders. Whatever reasons he have, selling your properties to invest around cryptocurrencies is tough and very risky decision to make. Having a big nerve taking this responsibilities won't be easy as fluctuations always shakes you while holding your assets.

Do you really mean less than 80% or more than 80%?

Sorry.. I was actually saying that the portfolio should be at least 80% made up of Bitcoin and by mistake I typed altcoin. Many thanks for pointing that out. This is the strategy that I normally follow with any investment asset. I would normally leave 80% to 85% of the portfolio for assets with a lesser amount of risk and the remaining 15% to 20% for high volatile assets. The same strategy was used for cryptocurrency investments as well. Bitcoin is not as volatile as the other cryptos, so I normally have 80% to 90% of my portfolio comprised of BTC and the rest by alts.

the first, you have made a ridiculous decision by selling your home to have cryptoqurrency assets?
I agree.  As great as crypto is to own as an investment, you can't live in a BNB wallet.  There is no way in hell I would sell real estate to buy an assortment of altcoins.  Makes me question whether op is telling the truth or just making up a story.  Guess there's no way to tell unless he wants to provide some documentation, and I'm sure he won't do that.

last time. . . do not let you go crazy because of crypto.
It's strange, because you usually see threads like this when bitcoin (or altcoins) are on fire, like what happened in 2017, not when the market is just going sideways.  However I've been saying that now might be an excellent buy in time since the prices are quite depressed.  Maybe that's what op is doing here.  Hopefully he didn't really sell his house tho.

And op, you do realize that real estate has the potential to generate income, right?  You could have rented out your house without giving up ownership of it, and with that income you might have had the chance to buy your altcoins over time and thereby take advantage of dollar cost averaging.  Just a thought.

It depends on yourself but i’m personally a fan of privacy coins, I’m sick of the government creeping in, monitoring everything and wanting their cut of money they have no right to take. because of this I primarily transact in privacy coins, using this to handle my debts, pay my mortgage and purchase most of my daily expenses. i was previously a fan of Zcash, but have since switched to Veil since the privacy features are far more robust, plus the staking rewards are more lucrative than most PoS Cryptos out there. I suggest filling your basket with some VEILs

Lol, risks need to be taken in other to make big changes in life, i bet this guy sold his house because he have another, who would have a single home and sell? where will he live? he is a rich man to be able to take this risk like its nothing.

I do not think that a rich person would distribute funds in this way among these coins. The price of bitcoin goes down - and its entire portfolio goes down the spot with bitcoin.
And the funny thing is that in his portfolio there is no bitcoin at all. A very strange and extremely risky portfolio.
I advise you to reconsider your investment strategy.

Sell 50% or more of every Altcoin and hold BTC.
If BTC Bullrun starts, maybe your Alts will fall hard.

Under current circumstances I would not advice anyone to hold portfolios in which less than 80% of the net wealth is being made up of altcoins. Altcoins are going down the drain and everyone knows why that is happening. A recovery can only occur if the ICO market reinvents itself and as of now it looks like a very distant possibility. IEOs are also not attracting much investment now after a lot of hype surrounding them in the beginning.

The main problem with alts is that they went up by too much during the last bull run (2017). Many of the altcoins went up by 100x or even by 200x. And even now, the prices are much higher than what we had before the 2017 bull run. Some users are saying that we can invest in these coins now as they have lost 90% to 99% of their value. But they are forgetting the fact that the prices are sill high when compared to the 2016 levels. And there is a good chance that the prices will fall to that level.

Do you really mean less than 80% or more than 80%?

just surprised bitcoin is not listed amongst the coin you plan on investing. selling your house to invest in crypto is a crazy decision, but not including the strongest cryptocurrency in your investment list is quite weird. you are responsible for your decision, i hope you make the right one.

LOL... the chances are that this guy is just trolling. We had a few similar threads here and many of them were later proved to be false. Who in their right mind would sell their house to invest in cryptocurrency? I wouldn't ever consider any such measure, even for purchasing Bitcoin. And this guy has gone one step ahead and purchased altcoins.

Now let's assume that he is telling the truth. Many of the coins he has listed have no great future potential. There is also a very good chance that he had earlier invested in these coins and now he wants to give them a pump by creating threads like these. Check the coins that he has listed. Cardano has lost more than 97% of its value since 2017. Who wants to invest in such an asset, and that too after selling the house?

he or she might be an altcoin enthusiast and he likes altcoin the most more than btc due to some reason  . there are those people that are like him so i cant consider him to be weird  .  he is not wierd by chosing alts but what make him look wierd is the fact that he is going to sell his house just to buy a crypto/altcoins  .  that is verry risky and not adviceable thing to do even if we say that we still have a back up house or can afford to buy another small house  .

You can sell your house and buy potential altcoin, never take risk with sell your house and buy or invest with shit coin. Better buy coin on the top coin market cap rank and never investing with shit coin, you can take back your house and get much profit if you choose correct altcoin for your investing, but if got bad altcoin maybe you lost your house and your money.

How old are you?  Cheesy Why don´t you invest into Bitcoin? You don´t see that Bitcoin is still the most profitable cryptocurrency? Other cryptocurrencies are cool, but probably not worth a house  Cheesy.
I think this decision is too brave when you make an investment by selling all the assets you have. especially the home is also the most important part of your life should not sell it just to pursue your ambitions to invest in cryptocurrency
