Good points but how does switching off DM on discord provide security to metamask? I don't link my Metamask to discord. People should learn to separate their main wallet from airdrop and bounty wallets.
As much as I like metamask wallet I just can't keep huge amount of money on that wallet compare to ledger hardware wallet, in fact I still prefer trust wallet over metamask, it's not an open source wallet and it's now more like a centralised wallet.
With so many hacks and scams going around nowadays, it's important to adopt the best security practices to keep your crypto safe. I came across this great resource for MetaMask security tips.
1) Never share your secret phrase
2) Download MetaMask only from the official website
3) Use a strong password for your wallet
4) Connect to only websites you trust
5) Turn on these recommended security settings
6) Lock or log out from MetaMask when not in use
7) Use multiple MetaMask wallets
