This is good but it's not a new thing, there are many platforms now accepting bitcoin for booking, accommodation and travel. We are going to see more of this especially this New Year coming.

I'm seeing more and more people using bitcoin as a payment in the real world and that's a good thing, but I don't think I will do it because it looks like it's going to be a huge loss. I prefer to keep it and sell a little if I need money. Grin

I think this is good progress.  every day bitcoin is known by many people.  and slowly, bitcoin will be adopted by many, conventional ways will be primitive and will be abandoned.  I am interested in renting a hotel with bitcoin.  maybe i will spend my weekend for vacation and rent hotel with bitcoin.  but it's just a dream.  my country rejects bitcoin.

I have not yet booked a hotel using Bitcoin but I have heard many have used booked a hotel using bitcoin In general, Bitcoin transactions are much easier in the world where Bitcoin is in circulation. Fiat currency is more prevalent in our country. But if the use of bitcoin is common all over the world, booked a hotel using bitcoin will further improve the crypto world merchants will be much more profitable and life journey will become easier. booked a hotel using bitcoin will take a long time to use Bitcoin directly improving everything with technology but illegal in many countries.

I couldn't agree that much when you said simpler and faster. Many could be misled with this info we are going to attract market adoption and this will be the characteristic that we promote. Bitcoin literally is slower compared to the traditional digital banking system nowadays. It is also complex since you will be introduced to new technology that you need to fully understand the basics in order to successfully send your first transactions. Perhaps, we can promote that bitcoin allows you to be free, and it will provide you anonymity.
and it is necessary to inform also that bitcoin has a higher risk compared to FIAT. An understanding of the basics of using Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies is very necessary because some new users must be educated.

The adoption of bitcoin into payment for goods and services is certainly an advancement, but regulatory issues regarding the use of bitcoin are not the same in every country.

If indeed this bitcoin has become legal in the country where I live, and it is allowed to pay for something, then I could just make payments with this bitcoin. Because it is simpler, faster and also more profitable.

Hotel booking access with bitcoin is being provided by Expedia. This service has been started long back, but in between it stopped the acceptance of bitcoin into flight booking. The hotel booking with bitcoin is still available. Apart from this service providers like Destinia, Cheapair were accepting bitcoin.

Yeah I course I would pay with BTC. BTC is not just for investment, it should be used for paying as well. after all it is a payment method. what is the use of Bitcoin if you can't use it. Hoping that we see more places using Bitcoin.
I am also looking forward with that scenario as well but it would be impossible if we don't take an action to mass promote the bitcoin to other people and teach them why do they need to adapt the crypto currencies and how do they adapt it as well. I think it would take a long time process of mass promotion but with a lot of effort we can achieve that goal as long as we are all working together and make progress.

This is truly natural information for me since I have perused an article before that utilizes bitcoin as a method of installment on certain exchanges in the inn booking, in any case, this news is truly incredible, a debt of gratitude is in order for illuminating us particularly those amateurs. Bitcoin turns out to be more recognizable in the various nation so they generally advance something to make our carries on with simpler by utilizing innovation on the grounds that as what we as a whole realize innovation is intended to make the life of each individual simpler and by its utilization and the utilization of bitcoin is truly incredible for having great and made sure about exchanges.

I figure it would be better in the event that they likewise permit the booking to utilize another cryptographic money so it will be more material to everybody.

Well to be fair, almost nobody who ever uses Bitcoin to pay for something will ever involve the merchant accepting Bitcoin. In all the times I have seen Bitcoin accepted on a website, they use a 3rd party payment processor (like Bitpay is the most famous).

This means you send BTC to the processor, the merchant actually never gets any BTC but a fiat payment.

This is the way it works.
Like how it works in my country it was able to pay any merchants partnered with them thru shopping, travelling and even hotel booking via traveloka. Even in 2018  it was already operating and was able to use it. They will use 3rd party app which as a bitcoin wallet that's when you will choose to pay via fiat or BTC but still in the end they will convert to amount they ask to pay. Anyway it still much ok than not having any option of using it, many service might be soon available with the use of cryptocurrencies.
its a luck for you that there are companies in your country that having an option to use Bitcoin as payment method.
i am eager to find here in my country but the bad thing is there are still no option of having such.
though there are some merchant that accepting as payment from online purchasing.

For my own decision if there are same offering here in my country?i will surely grab using my bitcoin or other altcoins because for me?it is a privilege to help Circulate bitcoin and other altcoin as well.

If there is a chance I go to that country I will do their bitcoin payment method.

You can get fiat based (bitcoin loaded) VISA Debit cards, Coinbase do a really good trustworthy one. That way you can pay for EVERYTHING with crypto (via fiat).

https://www.coinbase.com/card

Exactly!!! You don't need to pay directly in crypto which might end up into a painful expenditure. Much better to top up using crypto and pay with fiat, that way even if in the future BTC or any other coin goes up you don't feel like an idiot having spent lots of money - not worth the risk or stress! Thus, I'd never pay directly via crypto, always looking for alternatives!
If you really believe in crypto there is no need to feel stressed when the price of Bitcoin changed insignificantly after paying for the hotel or other things you wanna buy.

remember that crypto is a currency so we must not look in dollar value but instead consider that you have just paid the right amount.

look at the  one who pays how much bitcoin for pizza many years ago,do yu think he felt stressed knowing that the amount of pizza he pays is more than millin dollar now?

As I browse through my social media account, facebook, I saw this post saying he booked a hotel in Thailand using bitcoin in Travala ( application for hotel and accommodation booking.

A quick view for Travala, the heart of this system is Travala token (AVA) which helps the platform offer tokenized incentives to its customers and any other user that can help the platform grow. ( quick google seach)

Here's the video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-v-pLZzVO6s&fbclid=IwAR2urpi9mDQ9k-Rs-L5N5-KYUbwYen01SmXtAdwkhsY16E3w5iJff8Y718I

There is no actual moment that he is booked and paid using bitcoin. What do you guys think about it?

Would you book a hotel using bitcoins?

After this COVID-19 pandemic is over, I would not hesitate in trying Travala to book a hotel. Usually, I use Trivago, Agoda or Booking.com for the past two years in my travel schedules (both local and international). Slowly but surely, the travel industry starts adopting crypto and blockchain, which is a good thing.

For me, it’s all about creating awareness that crypto and blockchain can be integrated into travel and tourism industry. In the long run, we could see a lot of these travel booking sites accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as payment method.

Booking a hotel using a bitcoin is not new already especially that there are many platforms or company that accepts crypto payment for their services as crypto right now is
a good source of profit.

I love how Travala openly accepts crypto payments for hotel bookings as it will help to burst the acceptance of crypto currencies. If I have to book a hotel then I don't mind
booking using a bitcoin or crypto currencies.

maybe that can happen, hotels are paid in Bitcoin, I think in Thailand there are many Bitcoin users so he created a payment system using Bitcoin.

Honestly, I'm not surprised that there are several countries in Asia that use payment systems with electronic currencies such as Bitcoin.
For example: in singapure some public services can also pay with crypto Bitcoin, Ethereum etc.
Such as: malls, hotels, toll roads, and many others.
