I haven't had any mistake of this caliber. I received a slight overpayment of .03 BTC in a set monthly rate signature campaign. Sent it back with no issues. Mistakes happen.

I received of about 0.17+ BTC not directly to my addy. But to the address that linked with my account on a ponzi site (btc-i24 <- anyone remember this? ) and i don't even know who's invested behalf of me

I've received a very small ammount of BTC by mistake; about 0.00000001 :\ That's all I've received by mistake.

Actually got 2 Bitcoin too much while doing a transaction last year, someone had to repay me 0.2 BTC for a loan, but he accidentally sent me 2.2 BTC

in my case its the other way around, I double sent a BTC to an address
i was so sleepy that night but I have to send BTC to 4 different addresses
in the end 1 address did not receive anything while 1 address received twice of the BTC I owe
luckily the person who received twice the amount returned without hesitation

That's pretty kind of you. I wonder what % of people would return it back. I mean what are the chances something would happen to you if you left with the money and ran? This is bitcoin after all. Im trying to do some loaning business and im scared to do it because apparently people is scamming all the time and nothing happens to them.

In my local trading platform (Surbitcoin) someone sold about 0.40 BTC for like 9$ by mistake.

i got sent .3 extra from a seller here he sent the .3 i bought but was a glitch in coinbase and they ended up sending it twice. i sent him back the other .3 as soon as it confimed.

Once i sent btc priced in 60$ when i had to send 0.60$, lucky that person refunded the difference
