Mate, just to clarify, those sites are giving general news about gambling and not on specific players, leagues, or teams.

It's not meant to give you regular updates on players or sports. If you want to follow players or team status, then head directly to the league's news.

I think it really depends on what you mean. Gambling news is not a term which can be used for all gambling. If we are for example talking about placing bets on boxxing then obviously you should follow the boxxing news.

If we are talking generally about whats happening in the world concerning gambling legal regulations, new gambling casino business models and business/entrepreneurship news then I would also recommend the website https://www.gamblinginsider.com/.

But as I said before, if you are betting on something specific you should SEO your own news data sources specifically for the bets you make/wish to make.

I even peruse simple things like certain Twitter hashtags to find out the latest news.

Such localized sites are the best because you want to know the current laws and policies for your area and what the local businesses and sports teams are doing. This is a great list, since I'm also looking for a site where you can read news about sports event all over the world, mostly in crypto listed sports.
Though we have our local sports channel but it only tackles about our local events. Just a simple Google search should do the trick.

However, I don't see how it becomes beneficial to the gambling community to read general news regularly about gambling in general. For those who are making gambling topics here regularly, then I think it's them who follow most as they have a purpose

As a gambler, it's more make sense for me to follow instead news from where we lurk most in our gambling sessions for example in sports betting.

Gambling news in general isn't really a big thing to follow. At least for me.

^ All of these sources listed above were right and the very popular are these two, the gamblingnews.com and the gamblinginsider.com. I have been following them for how many years since I was here in the forum and learn how to gamble. There are too many sources of gambling news that we can be found across the internet. I think they are all reliable source but I will preferred to choose on those very popular one.

As far as I know, there are tons of gambling-related news by just searching in Google. You would find most of what you need by utilizing the search bar on a search engine and you decide, based from your discretion, which news outlet/website is most trusted and used.

Though personally, gambling-related news should be more advertised. I do think that by consistently showing data and statistics of players who win vs who losses, this would somehow help in preventing gambling addiction as a whole.

I would caution following gambling content on news sites, forums and social media.

A good percentage of gambling content probably comes from casinos.

Casinos recommend martingale as a strategy as it could turn them the biggest profit.

Some gambling accounts on social media might deliberately recommend losing plays at times.

Following closely enough and observing the trends might become obvious over time.

No, it isn't hidden. Gambling news is being reported by news reporters/writers and published on their site. It is another means of having an income so if there is any good scoop, reporters and writers won't fail to report them to the public thru different media outlet.

lionheart78 has shared a lot of websites but I'd like to add casino.guru on the list. aside from providing gambling news they also have gambling reviews, Bonuses, Guides, etc... I haven't really checked the website but casino.guru is one of the platforms that helped resolve the issue bambolina has with LTC Casino, so I think they are a pretty good website to get gambling news from.

Seems like i'm not the only one of having no interest in some gambling news, like it's normal though. It's that you can't heard gambling news everyday say had loss or wins millions jackpots, or end up some life, a celebrity entered the industry, become poor overnight because of gambling and etc. These are commons but you wont hear it everyday in news. That's why reading gambling news everyday isn't just interesting to me unlike other news locally or globally due to pandemic, wars, politics and etc.
