There is not going to be any Facebook campaign, the Twitter campaign did not bring anything. I need to restructure how we do PR. It seems fairly meaningless in retrospect to have 60 people tweeting at random over the space of two weeks with no result at all to show for it. It is clearly not a good way to promote.
You just figured out your own answer to your problem. You have far too many people tweeting all at once and that helps nothing 2 weeks of tons of twitter activity and then it gets dropped ?? Pointless and you know it.
Now I am no expert but it seems you need some help promoting here:
1. Verify peoples tweets to may sure the did it correctly. Don't kick out people just warn them, but do kick out blatant abuse.
2. Spread the payments over more days. Have everyone tweet and retweet 3x per week with at least one day gap between them, so they will post 3x a week in this thread. This reduced your work load by a massive amount 3 days per week vs 7 days per week you essentially more then halved your work load.
3. Drop the amount you pay in favour of a longer lasting campaign. Basically stretch the money over a longer time but also extened this time to allow people to make more then you would have first paid them but it encourages them to stay the extra few weeks you ask for.
Award the better promoters with small bonuses but keep it discrete. Make a list of the most consistant and useful memebers so in the future you can pm them promotional work and know you will get good value for your money. Build a relationship between your chosen promotes and I promise you they will treat you wll in return.
If doing the above doesn't help I'll eat my toes.
It may have a better effect if it's done differently but it's too labour intensive to check tweets and Twitter is full of bogus accounts etc. There is no way to check if someone has real followers or bots etc. Not worth it. I got more clicks from paid Twitter ads for half the money.
