I also have problems with this in my country. Stores and restaurants here do not accept Bitcoin, I can not spend it. So it turns out that I have Bitcoin but I do not have the real money that I can use for everyday needs. Only if I exchange it for a national currency. This is only one Bitcoin's disadvantage for me. But I hope Bitcoin will be legalized soon.
Bitcoin is decentralized so it will a lot of time before it get legalized in a country because the government will study it first for a long time and they will try their best to determine if bitcoin is a good currency for their country or not because just a wrong move of the government then their whole country will get affected and that is why it is not easy for bitcoin to get legalized because it is uncontrollable.

The main reason must be the fact that not all of the group member knows about it, so majority always win. And not everyone can afford to have an internet on their daily lives because we have to pay for it at the end of the day. Its hard to just want something for ourselves because we have to consider others too. But hopefully in the near future we can use then our bitcoins! 
It needs not only a plastic card. Need the terminal to read it. At this time that read right now probably will not work?
additionally, the ability of human to have this type of transaction,specifically in the Philippines which poverty is one of the main problems.
but I believe some people are showing interest and they can help to spread awareness. It's not instant but eventually when people gain confidence

Coinbase gave me a Shift VISA card. I keep a portion of my BTC in a Coinbase account, and just use the card for purchases. All the buying/selling is taken care of automatically and records are kept on the Coinbase website. Whether you like Coinbase or not, you've got to admit that ' s pretty convenient.
Bitcoin is just being known in my jurisdiction. So the debit card stuff, the other ways to expend bitcoin are still alien to us other than through the internet and converting to either dollars, then to local currency. Meanwhile, it is only the literate population that have heard of it or can go about having it even though some of them still see blockchain technology as the 8 wonders of the world.

Most people spend bitcoins at some stores or at online gambling sites. I do not do that. I just buy my bitcoins and save them for when the price goes up. If I am going to spend my coins I may regret the fact that I could make money with it.
Yes, like you i don't want to spend my bitcoins into a nonsense things, i spend my all bitcoin in a good and effective way that may helps into my daily life, abd i was give value my bitcoin because i was trying hard to earned bitcoin and also it is hard to earned in bitcoin, so we need to spend it into the way that will help us. I have a plan to hold my bitcoin first before i spend it, because having a lots of bitcoin it is better to spend it and we are not to become shortage. Yeah, most people spend their bitcoin to buy goods in a digital store or to gamble, and same with you I only used bitcoin as one of my investment to earn additional income, i doing trading with my bitcoin and i use the profit that i earned from bitcoin for daily needs, beside that in my country only Bali had receipt payment with bitcoin, but it's so far from where i live 
I would love to have that debit card but I can't afford to use it daily because there's only 1 bitcoin ATM here in my country at this moment. And the sad thing about that is it's far from my location so it's not wise and it will be hassle for to use it so right now I still keep on depending with cash. It's a unique thing if I have those debit cards today but I can't help myself I'll wait on that day.

Those reasons varies from different perspectives of people and also different countries where they came from. Well, what I can see is that legalization of bitcoin is one of the greatest problems why people cannot use bitcoin in daily life situation. The other thing is that it is not widely use and known in their country so they still have to exchange it into their national currency to have worth. There are no establishments that have been accepting bitcoin in terms of payment purposes. In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.

There are only limited areas who could access bitcoins, Some local people don't realize bitcoin due to lack of gadgets and even they hear the name bitcoin but they don't see useful things on it. Lack of information and government keeps silent about bitcoin because it is not legalized, and uncontrollable.
