i just placed a bet in bitcoin on the US election, thats a first for me, lets get the ball rolling

For me now Bitcoin - an investment project. I do not spend your Bitcoins to buy those things that can be bought for dollars. I do not see the point
So basically you'll never spend your bitcoin because I think almost every single thing can be bought using dollars/fiat. The point of using bitcoin instead of dollar is for example, you want to transact with other people from another country. Then using bitcoins would be easier and faster. Another point is that you can spend your bitcoin when the price is high so you can save some coins. I know that saving as much bitcoins as we can is a good thing but there are also instances wherein spending your bitcoins would be much better to do than just using dollars.
Spending bitcoin is depending on the users we are all have freedom where we put our bitcoin, for me it is good to spend bitcoin to help the rotation of demand of bitcoin will increase.
yeah i spending bitcoin in low amount and some bitcoin i hold for the future and becuase bitcoin will be increase its price too much higher and i will be get a big profit from bitcoin in the future.
There are some cases that I don't want to spend my bitcoins and just to hold it completely. But if there is an emergency I don't have choice but to spend my bitcoins or sell it and convert it with fiat. So, after spending it I am regretting and feeling sorry that I used to sell my bitcoins when seeing the price increasing because I miss the profit.
There is no other way around it. If you have an emergency and your only source of money is bitcoin, then there is no other choice but to dump bitcoin and have some fiat to cover your emergency. I think I will not regret it even if I miss the price hike if I spent the money wisely.

I had been forced to exchange my bitcoin recently, besides that i do have a project that i hope to be made at 2017 and i do use my bitcoins to pay for the host, and anything related to it, besides being able to pay the developer with bitcoin.
Sometimes I spend my Bitcoins. Basically, I use them to purchase goods on the Internet
Not only on the internet, nowadays you can virtually do any kind of transactions with bicoin like purchasing both virtual and physical goods and services through amazon using services like purse.io or you can use bitcoin debit card to make purchases anywhere in the world. When spending bitcoins become even more fluent, we can expect more new people to adopt bitcoins.

I do spend my bitcoin mostly in digital goods, since I have yet to see a store accepting bitcoins in my country if I saw one I will probably buy something with bitcoin just to help them out.
To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.

Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.
In my country there are some ways to buy and to sell btc but you will lose a lot on such operations. No official Bank or shop accepts Bitcoin, so you can't actually do anything with them. Bitcoin is not illegal, it is just not in the law. I think my country's government is not aware there is such a thing. In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.

spent bitcoin today looks very detrimental. it is because the current bitcoin prices will rise, and it proved with bitcoin rising from $ 600 to $ 700. it is likely that the higher price will go up another. so I guess this time I will keep my bitcoin in my wallet, and when the price becomes $ 1,000, maybe I'll spend it 
That is what I am thinking because if we observed the bitcoin price now, it continues to gain its price. So, if we should observed for now since the price is not stable yet. Base on some forecasts it will still continue to raise until next year,so for me I will hold for a moment while monitoring.

for in my country bitcoin is growing very rapidly. in large urban areas bitcoin already exists in the form atm. although only in major cities in the country and selling bitcoin I can do in any area. and also not difficult to sell bitcoin 
I wish that was possible for here too, because in here you cannot spend your bitcoins outside at all nor you can find any sign of bitcoins even in big cities, so the only option we have here is to convert them to fiat and then spend them where we want.
Same here also their are users who are ready to buy bitcoin for fiat currency but their are no shops where we can purchase products in bitcoins, So we have to go for fiat conversion to use bitcoin. But i know that very soon we will get shops where we can purchase products with bitcoins.
