There is still so much time in my opinion for Spark. I am really amazed at how Wings is gaining too much noise but people should know that it took them lots of time before they finally decided their ICO date. Their official thread here in bitcointalk started 6 months ago I guess and ICO didn't even started yet. I believe Spark is heading that direction soon.

are there any marketing/promoting/awareness plans in the meantime about the SPK project enter the programing phase ?

Exchanges pretty much want to see the whole thing complete before they consider a coin or Token; this is understandable as they want to make sure an upcoming wallet code does not contain some kind of malware. To get listed on smaller exchanges is pretty quick and straightforward; to get listed on Polo or Bittrex we will have to make some real noise.
We will be posting more on crypto forums as we get nearer to the final distribution of SPK, but for the time being we are relying on our signature campaign.
The Spark Token and Quintessence network is a pretty ambitious and exciting project; I can't do it all alone with my programmer. There are many possible positions open now for help getting this information out; if you want to help and be part of the core team, let me know.
There is some very hard work being done by you and the CBX team in times of difficulties and all such things. Insipite of the ICO and price of CBX, team has managed to come strong and i can see spark to be a great coin in coming times.
I am looking forward to this project. Great Work

Once the code is ready it should be submitted for review by polo. As we are similar to token I believe we will have our day. All the new tokens have made it to polo with the exception of waves. Dao lsk are both tokens

Maybe SPK can also participate on joint partnerships or whatever agreements you may secure on betting sites like Crypto-Games, Betking, Safedice, etc. Those sites accept investors and people there might be interested.
As regulations are going to get tough. Since Btc is considered as currency. We should stay away from gambling site. Let just stay as an crypto blockchain experience for a better future

funny. I have done some calculation:
My spark ammount=my cbx donate/250000*150million
there is no bonus at all.
I donated cbx at the very beginning.
is the No. showed in my account will be altered at the time of distribution to the correct one?

Since we changed the total amount of SPK that will be released at launch all the numbers are different; but bonuses will all apply one compared to the other in the same ratio as promised.
I will send to all 40 contributors an email with how many SPK each one will get at launch, soon.
To begin, the total amount is 150 million; however the ICO contributors will share 112.5 millions, with 18.75 millions for a possible future Phase 2 ICO and 18.75 millions for the development bounties.

What is the opportunity of SPK? It's a high staking rewards 2.0 token because of the implementation of PoSP and sidechains; no other token is built like that.
Most of the 20 first coins in CoinMarketCap are of 2.0 type; actually we will label our coin as a "2.1" as it integrates all the basic fundamental infrastructure of the others plus we add fairness to all by allowing everyone to participate in the network and earn some staking (which is not realistically possible with any DPoS tokens).
We chose to create a smaller amount of SPK at launch (150 millions), but instead of the big money offer we will have high rewards in the inflationary stage (first 3 years) of the development, to bolster mass adoption.

CBX of ICO is held under escrow until SPK token / wallet is launched in about 6 to 9 weeks. No one is selling it.
Yes so after token launched. Will cbx be sold to open market to convert for Btc. Or already have private buyer that will pay Fiat.
A big part of it will be used to pay the programmer who is working on the SPK wallet; the rest will be kept for development of CBX and bounties.
