They attempt to get an unfair advantage over other players in promotions and with faucet, use in a way that it was not intended nor implemented for, such as claiming faucet from hundreds of accounts, or entering giveaways with hundreds of different accounts.
Yes, there is such a thing as abusing a gambling site, and usually that goes paired with hurting the other players as well.

if you think about it, those days are not over because the faucet amount is still very high! those old days bitcoin price was $200, $500 and such and the faucet payment was 500 satoshi to 1000 satoshi best case.
now price is $8000 which is 40x the previous price and faucet is 150 if faucet went down the same it should have been 10-25 satoshi instead

There is no guaranty that sometimes you even get 35% winning chances. Long gone are the days of high faucets amounts and faucet farming.

A few years ago most Bitcoin Casinos just took it as a small write off and didn't want to deal with sorting thru faucet earnings and denying faucet withdraws.

Now since bitcoin has exploded in value, there are many people in 3rd world countries who try to play on the faucet all day to earn $5/day (days wage in some countries) and they never deposit only withdraw.

Casinos get no revenue from these types of people so they are either limiting the faucet value or completely banning certain people from using the faucets on their sites.

High bitcoin price also will be affected because if prices go high then bitcoin gambling also will reduce and their profit % also will go down so they need to adjust faucet free money.
