Tether is an altcoin which uses the short form of USDT (there is a T in the end) but the difference that this altcoin has with others is that its price is supposed to be tethered to USD price

it means the price of 1 USDT should be equal to 1 USD.
and most of the time it actually is like that but thee have been times where tether have also failed and got dumped below that promised price.

p.s. i don't think it is such a good idea to add it. and i also think using tether may need verification but i may be wrong.

most altcoins are dropping, it is like an epidemic right now. we are close to the time when you can call it the bottom and start buying them. i also have plans on buying some burst for the sake of gambling with it in bitsler Cheesy

bought some recently and am waiting for a better price to buy some more.

altcoins took a vertical dive some dropped 20-30%
on the other hand,bitcoin fees gone down and the waiting time is much much lower these days
I sent 0.07 btc with only 5k fee,was pleasantly surprised by the speed of confirmation-confirmed inside 15 minutes time
as for burst,you can mine them yourself if you have a spare hdd or have enough of free space on your old one

You should know that these altcoins move up also faster than bitcoin prices. So when markets are in bad conditions these altcoins will come down badly. But if your a trader than you should know how much money needs to invest in these altcoins to take advantage of these highly volatile prices. People want to gamble anonymously that's why bitcoin gambling industry has grown so high and you want to go back to old style fiat gambling?

The current price down is not because of demand and supply but due to crypto market crash down. Not only burst but all other altcoins also went down a lot. If you have invested don't sell now instead buy some more and average down your price. You will make a good profit in next few months time. If you're a long-term investor then no need to worry much about current price corrections.

pretty sure that burstnation and Bitlser played a role in the price increase,but when the market takes an almost vertical dive
and cryptocurrencies get 13 bil wiped off their market value in a short period of time
it is pretty hard to keep the same level of price even for the most solid of coins,so the drop is only expected
