Yes, I see that too. Soccer fans are more prone to losing because they are stuck with their favorite teams and they won't just bet against them because it has become a part of them. It's understandable because we have seen how strong their support for their is whenever they have games at home and I think it's okay as long as that bet won't ruin your budget.
Unwise especially if you know your team is not playing well in the whole season but if it gives them joy and fires up their cheering skills then I guess we should not hinder that.
I made my own mistakes betting for the Mavericks the whole Finals series and I am at lost but it made me enjoy watching the game more.
