I am always a fan of casino games so I would prefer playing at Casino than sports betting. I often play to relax but I feel sports betting does not give me what I am looking for. Its sports betting because the chance to win is high particularly if you know the game well and you have watch closely the performance of each team. Yes, it requires knowledge and strategies to win, and that's good thing about it because it gives you more reasons to gamble if you know you are capable and knowledgeable about it. While online casino games create instant wins and instant losses, but definitely the chance to win is very slim since you can't control the outcome of every game you played since they are mostly computer programmed.

I think everyone can relate to one or the other but at the end of the day they do prefer both, there might be some games that might make the players invest in those and for the normal days it can be focused on more online Gambling as well.
There is not a clear distinction as well the sites that offers any online gambling can offer the sports gambling as well. For me I have friends who only go for sports betting because usually they know the games by heart but for me I enjoy games like 'Crash' and stuff since they are much more diverse and am not that good with sports betting as well.

Yes, but sports betting needs time to analyze the facts and the stats from recent games or wait for some tip-off to somehow expand your chances of winning but again that's still a speculation as we can never tell if we will win or not and Luck is just a plus factor but the most powerful factor of all. Casino games on the other hand are purely luck-based games and I find it more boring as we will just wait if we will win or not.

sports betting has its own characteristics, this gambling is very popular with many gamblers before slot gambling became viral as it is today. both have different offers with different challenges too, like you said sports betting has an adrenaline rush and that's part of the fun, slot machines offer huge wins that can even give you 100x the bet you set. but in my opinion, I prefer sports betting because they are predictable and try to find a lot of information to analyze bets and this is fair enough, slot machines offer very large profits if you get a jackpot but the loss ratio is higher when compared to sports gambling.

If you have gambled enough, you will know that you can analyse, bet and still finally noticing that you lose than making profit in sport bet, it depends on the approach used to bet, if you are the type that bet often and stay every minute to take chance of available odds during in-play matches, you may still notice that you are losing than making profit. The analysis can give false sense of reasoning, but the fact still remain that you can still lose, but you quite know this about casinos and you have better precautions to avoid losses.

From what I've understood about your friend @OP, he's luckier playing online casino games that's why he suddenly fell in love with it because it's much easier to play and doesn't require any knowledge and analysis. I cannot think of any better reasons why he chose that instead of sports betting, he already tried his luck with that but he's unfortunate and as you said, he was losing more than what he got by winning.

For me, I prefer sports betting because I always loved watching sports and I do understand how it works (only specific sports) so why don't I bet on it while enjoying the sports I watched and I'm much updated with that stuff so my chances are much greater. But we can't avoid that there are some days that we're just no lucky.

I prefer online casino games. I do sports betting too but rarely do it and I only bet on teams, sports, and athletes that I really like.

This reminded me of 2014 when I first started to gamble, I can remember my first bet vividly, it was English Premier League, I accumulated 3 matches and West Ham United versus West Brom was there. I chose poor one over there one to win and randomly picked other two matches too, no analyses but I won. Gambling is even more than predictions as high odds is even possible to be won at times.

I too prefer online gambling, people that do not know how to gamble online are the ones that still prefer the traditional way which is offline and not convenient.
