For me it's the opposite, I used to like casino games over sports betting at the start and one of the reasons why I prefer casino games is because I wasn't familiar with how sports betting works at that time. I prefer betting because in betting you have at least a theoretical possibility to be stronger than the bookmaker, while in gambling the advantage of the casino is always constant and changes only depending on the game you choose.
