Heard there was a coach on the women's side which was kicked out for breaching the rules of cheating. Something to do with a drone.
It is the Olympics, so was expecting some kind of scandal to go on but not right before the opening ceremonies even started.
They will be having the teams introduced by boat flowing on the Seine river later on today if not done already due to the time difference to North America.

Got exactly the same as you. Argentina was one game that I missed but I had them to win so not as pissed as you. Don't remember which was the other one but it was on the men's side of the tournament since I had 2 wrong after day.

Basically a break even for me if I can win with my free bet from this. Well there is still another one, France W - Colombia W on the olympic. I had France to win and the score is currently 3-2 on 73' minutes. It was 3-0 on half time so yeah there is a good chance that they might screw this one up. If France win then Im getting $50 free bet so yeah its way better

All heavy favourites win the 1st leg of the qualifying games yesterday. I had that crazy thoughts of betting like 7-8 games with clear favourites on my slips but I decided not to in the end. I could have won decent amount, too bad

Lovely, have been waiting for this type of contest on sportsbet ever since I got decent result on the last one. To be honest, I have no clue about this at all. It is better for Messi to make the decision to stop playing for the Argentine national team when all the dreams he wants to give to Argentina have been achieved. As for individual achievements, we don't need to mention them one by one which makes him worthy of being called the most successful athlete of his era along with Cristiano Ronaldo, even though Ronaldo's achievements for the Portuguese national team were not able to help them win the world cup trophy.
If Messi continues to persist in playing, it will not necessarily bear sweet fruit.

Messi is going to remember this Copa America because of his swelling foot, and maybe because this was the last match in Argentina national team.
Lets wait for official confirmation, maybe someone convince him to play in next world cup in 2026, but he should finally leave while on top.

I was expecting for the penalties too, but Colombia was committing many little mistakes since the second half, which only got more intensified during the extra time. Argentina scored, because Colombia failed passing the ball from their area to the middle of the field.

But in the end, I think Colombia didn't feel bad at all, because they did an awesome campaign, delivering much superior results than they firstly expected. Now they are the top 2 national team of the Americas, surpassing teams considered stronger in the past such as Brazil, Uruguay and Mexico.
