Oh wait home team? Arsenal, City, Leicester, West Ham are on away team and I picked them as my selections  Lips sealed. I still havent decided yet on this but I have picked Manchester United to win but so far Brentford has been way better so Im really confused. Manchester United gonna play on home but they are usually shitty after the international break
I'm also going with those teams except for West Ham. I'll be on Man United too, it's one of the games they shouldn't be losing and this could be a good match to improve their form knowing they're 3-0 in the H2H matches against Brentford at home.

I forgot I should be fading Southampton since they let their first win get taken away by Ipswich in their previous home match.

We got another predictable week, but i'm still scared after the tough game week last round. The injuries could be the bigger problem for some teams and our picks.

We had predictable week on the last round but Im getting 5/7 on Saturday only to be losing it all on Sunday for 5/10. I hope this dont happen but you know most of the favourites are on away team so any shit could have happen.

Despite all that, i'm joining this week's jackpot plus the pick 4 win promo. Maybe there's no need to overthink the predictions this week and hope the home favorites are due to win their games.  Wink

Will be joining in this week's EPL Jackpots aswell due to the teams should be well rested so they should perform better.
And no useless draws because those are quite difficult to predict especially coming off such a long break.

2 million pounds a year is saved off their year end books with his firing.
only 2 million anually? They paid players more than that every single week and its just dumb that they are 'sacking' Sir Alex. Sir Alex should be able to do whatever he wants on Manchester United, the club owes him for all his previous effort with the club

A Legend but he was literally offering nothing to the club and taking away huge pay check every week doing absolutely nothing. The club keeps recruiting the wrong managers and the wrong profile players so what exactly is his role?

Just like every other persons, I'm shocked he was still on that much wages since 2013.

^^
I see them as all reds just as @igebotz called them because he is with the blues. His team is Chelsea but tolerates Manchester City since they ushered in a new era for all EPL teams when it comes to clubs wanting to spend on what they want when it comes to stadiums and sponsorships.

The Blue sides are running almost the same mode of business and wherever affects them would affect us too. We're fighting corruption and unfair treatments.

Some movement atleast for the Reds with the sacking of Alex Ferguson who has been club ambassador since 2013.
He had been in the Manchester United box for many years and I believe he even has a statue infront of Old Trafford.

Its actually The Red Devils. The Reds is Liverpool and its kinda stuck like that for years already although both teams are reds.

Speaking of effort, I will put extra effort this round. I dont wanna keep losing in the EPL jackpot for 4th time in a row

PLEASE, i dont want to see another boring rounded stadium, i hope to see the stadium keeping his style, is pretty abd to see so many englands stadium become all similars. I hate it, i want to see them preserving their particular forms.

Or maybe they can just do what Brentford did Grin

They must of saved alot of money because it doesn't look like they spent what Man City nor Newcastle were projected to spend on theirs before the ruling of the APT case in all the clubs favor.

What a fun thing is allways to me to see a MITRE branding sport (the hoodie of the guy in the video), because when i was a child i always thing it was a shit brand from my country, because Mitre is a very well know family here which they are the owner of the most important newspaper, and the founder was also the writter of most of the Argentine history plus a president of the country in the late 1800. When i found it was English brand it really shock me. they make sober designs like B class brands.

About the stadiums i like the Brentford aproach.

But we have one HUGE problem in the future ahead one of the most invested in Premier League are the U.S, and you know how they made their stadiums..... in the middle of nowhere and with a HUGE parking slot around them.

That seems to be the problem with most of the leagues stadium: The locations being too close to the local dwellings.
These old stadiums were constructed right in or at the edge of neighborhoods which caused problems for both the teams and the population who have to live right besides them during matches.

That is shown in the Brentford stadium I posted above. You can see where the old stadium was which was torn down and the new one was reconstructed in it's place.
They have integrated apartments into the infrastructure of the new stadium.
The leasing of these brings in money aswell so it beneficial if the future stadiums to be built do this in the longrun.

I believe Newcastle F.C will do this and people will purchase these under a name like Riyadh Seasons.
Sounds alot like the Four Seasons collection of hotels and resorts and well known for their hospitality.

Could be another Chelsea projected stadium rebuilding plan that hasn't break the light for 3 years now since Abramovic left. I don't know how I will feel if Newcastle starts before us...

English teams are known for having boring stadium designs, they only care about adding more seats and expanding field that's all.
Yep, and that's what is happening with the St. James Park redevelopment, they are adding more seats. Grin And that's it.

They cannot do anymore upgrades in the past because of the building beside them but I do think some agreement was sealed since they released this kind of news. There's a chance that the owners of the place near them gave up of keeping their position and now New castle have a chance to change that.

@rdbase, upon reading other articles, it's like the problem is not them but those who are around them. They cannot  upgrade with so many establishments that would not accept the change so I think they will be upgrading that stadium slowly until most of them would not even have a fighting chance.
I love what a commentator said about making it a real park because most people will come in and out without any hesitation.

So these two models are all wrong?

Atleast with the Riyadh Season named attached to it will mean a very lofty cash injection in St James Park's budget.
Just as it did with the UFC Noche event done at the Sphere towards Dana White's love letter to the Mexican people on their day of celebration.

Newcastle United’s Ambitious Plans for St James’ Park Redevelopment
https://sports.yahoo.com/bold-plans-st-james-park-193000789.html

Quote
Newcastle United are reportedly considering a transformative rebuild of St James’ Park as part of a wider redevelopment of the surrounding city-centre area. The proposed project goes beyond a simple expansion of the stadium, with the club looking to create a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose venue that would maintain its place at the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. As reported by The Telegraph, the estimated cost for such a bold endeavour could reach as high as £1 billion, reflecting the ambition of the project.

£1 billion. Damn!

I've read fans' comments about the rebuild of St. James Park and most don't like it. Most of them are suggesting a new stadium just like how Manchester United did. But that cost them a lot £2.5 billion which means double the expense and more. Other fans like the old St. James Park because of easy access and saying to keep it but maybe the people who want change are just jealous of Manchester United. Grin

Osimhen was on loan from Napoli a month ago which I didn't even realize he was playing on a Turkish team til viewed  these articles:

Osimhen Wins First Turkish Super Lig Award At Galatasaray
https://www.gistmania.com/talk/topic,605348.0.html

Yes, everything happened so fast that I was also very surprised when I first heard about the transfer attempts by Galatasaray.  Grin  Napoli left him out of squad first. Neither the board nor the Conte wanted to see him anymore and Osimhen already made up his mind to leave.

The summer transfer window was already closed for big European leagues when it happened. But it was still open for the Turkish league. Some say Galatasaray pays nearly all of his salary currently and some say a totally different thing.

Osimhen is currently injured which is sad for Galatasaray.  Sad  He is expected to be back after the national break. By the way his release clause has dropped to a level around 75-80 million euros. He might even be available for a break clause in January. Otherwise he will have to wait for next summer.

But they are losing this one in court.
One way or another. Too much money at stake for all those teams and those stadiums to not have it in favor of those teams at this point in time.

Probably they will get like 10 points reduction or something. Well its still not going to affect much on City anyway

Anyway does anyone currently having a good streak or even participate in this ongoing promotions?

https://sportsbet.io/promotions/2024-football-winning-streak

15 winning bet streak on UCL, UEL or Conference wins $5k. Minimum $20 and 1.5 odds. Its actually harder than expected... So far my best record for the past two rounds was 4 times. I just cant seems to be getting that winning streak when some teams are messing around especially on the 2nd round, lots of favourites ended up not winning

Looks like they will be skipping it aswell as the latest one will be for matches on the 19th so not this weekend but the next:
I guess I got a whole week plus to refresh my brain huh after losing 3 rounds in a row. It was horrible of me, I really thought I would atleast get something back from the previous round after most favourites ended up winning on Saturday.
No way the EPL will be losing in court? Yeah they have all the money to afford the best lawyers in the U.K but that is not always the case. Just look at the what happened to the owner of the WWE who had all the power and money but ended up losing his case in court.
Well its City we are talking about as a whole organization which also includes their oil money investor behind them so yeah. Now that City know that the court is trying to hunt them down, they would be pretty careful in future to cover this thing up. I would love to watch City got relegated if they are guilty with all those charges but probably its not happening

Both these matches today ended in a draw.
What a worse result to have for those who were still in the Predictor pool to have.
The last match for this Sunday are Brighton vs Tottenham which just began about 10 minutes ago.
But those two draws really killed those who needed atleast two to gain a prize from this week's competition.
I hate red cards, we ( Chelsea ) could have won that game if the red wasn't given, it's always nearly impossible to break a low block team with less than 30mins to play. The red flushed them back.
Tottenham are not beating the bottler allegations anytime soon. Those lots bottled a 2:0 lead and ended up losing.
Well to hell with those matches then. Also if they will be doing UEFA Nations League games for the Jackpot @ralle14 then we might as well skip them.

The bigger news in the EPL is off the pitch:

That news from the Premier League versus the owner of Manchester City was a real bummer and the tribunal's verdict was for both parties winning over commercial deals I really think that they should not have any argument like this at all as both need to verbally tell the other what is the problem as the Premier League should not or let a club benefits over a commercial deals which I found really amusing although I haven't understand most of the part but pretty much a club and the League should not have any problems regarding this as for the Tribunal to step in and work out a way in solving both parties problems,

OFFICIAL: Man City BEAT The Premier League in Their APT Case

I thought both had claimed victory over commercial deals but anyway watching the video it seems the most benefit was for the Premier League for sure as they are the ones giving the rules and the APT system will continue to operate however the Tribunal has to identify a small number of discrete elements of the rules which do not, in their current comply with the competition and public law requirement.

The Premier League should stick its corruption and unfair financial transactions in their ass. Who cares? I love how they're being exposed by City and other bluesides. I knew we'd be teaming up with City after almost missing out on the front of jersey sponsorship this season. We played a portion of the preseason and league games, as well as the most of the season, without the jersey sponsorship.

The red cartels (Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, and co) are envious; the current business model does not benefit them. That's three charges dropped; we're looking forward to the main event next month.  Grin
