Jose Mourinho sacked

Jose Mourinho got sacked this morning, he had a heated argument with Levy yesterday after he learnt that Tottenham was part of the founding clubs of the European super league. According to several reports, Mourinho refused to take the players to morning training, he is one of the managers against the supper league. Tottenham plays Manchester City on Sunday in the League cup final, what an unfortunate time to get rip of Jose.. their sack will cost the club £30m.

This player is starting to look like the EPL player of the month as he was awarded for March according to Igehhh post on the African Football thread linked to his post below:
Nigeria and Leicester City striker Seniorman Kelechi Iheanacho has won the premier league player of the month of March after scoring 5 goals in 3 games. He became the fourth Nigerian to win this prestigious award.
Congratulations to him

2020-21 season Premier League Player of The Month winners.
September: Calvert-Lewin ( Everton)
October: Son Heung-min (Everton)
November: Bruno Fernandes (Manutd)
December: Bruno Fernandes( manutd)
January: Gundogan (Man city)
February: Gundogan (Man city)
March: Kelechi Iheanacho ( Leicester)

Scores for the foxes in this FA Cup match against Sotons just now to put them up 1-0.

He did pretty well in the last couple of games and deserved it I think. Sure you could find someone who overall performed better but might not have been as efficient as him, but still it's a nice trophy that may give him another boost for the rest of the season.

I recall Sané receiving the award in the past, but his performance went down the toilet afterwards.

Now he is playing very badly these days. Sometimes when I watch him I can't even believe he was once elected to be player of the month in the Premier League.
He still has good moments but he can't play on a high level for several games in a row let alone 90 minutes in a row in a single game. He is way too weak in switching to the defensive game.

Anyway, close race for the CL spots in the PL, Leicester with good chances.

Kelechi is a great baller his is beginning to show what he can do, he was the best player of the U17 2013 Worldcup tournament, he has been a great assets to Leicester this season, he never had the chance at Manchester City, I'm happy he is getting the chance he deserves.

I did notice Brett for their IPL cricket league saying they have contests running for a chance to win some free bets.
I think they are having one tomorrow as well. Might as well check it out if you are knowledgeable in some cricket, just for the heck of it and have some fun too. Grin

Looks like Chelsea took Manchester City out of the EPL today, and KDB was also injured. So double trouble for the EPL champs for the rest of the season without him.
Tuchel is looking like a genius right about now to the rest of the teams below his on the table. Wink

For those interested in some UFC action can come check out the other thread in preparation for the the first venue to allow a full arena of fans back into the action starting next weekend for UFC 261.

re rdbase and ClubTalk:

Club Talk's really really awesome and it's definitely picking up steam as the weeks roll by! That Arsenal even last Sunday was super... I wasn't even properly available, was so busy cooking and doing stuff but even just popping in won that free bet (and gave us back our BJ special, which alone was cool cause I bet big on that).

Definitely loads of benefits -- and the daily cricket quiz for freebets too for anyone following IPL haha.

Chelsea to defeat Real you think though?Smiley
There is no too much difference between Real Madrid and Chelsea this season I think at some point the both clubs struggled abit. Real Madrid was one of the worse team in the group stage but that aside they found themselves in the semifinals, I think right now both of them are on the same level this season and if Ramos and Hazard are not back before the first leg it would be a disaster for them.

I don't think Chelsea can beat Real Madrid even if they will go to penalties so don't risk your money on CHelsea - Real game because this game is not for betting. We have PSG-City and this game already looks like a final so I'm expecting goals , yellow cards , corners and even a penalty. I already made my prediction and placed a bet on PSG to win UCL.

Chelsea is still doing good under Tuchel. So maybe Real Madrid could be easy for them. But from what I recall from their last match they beat Barcelona in the Copa del Rey didn't they? It was one of the Spanish cup tournaments. But that is barca now and not back when they had a great team with Messi at the helm. But now it is just a one man show there now. So who knows at this point.

Some good stuff going on the Clubtalk chat area for the sportsbet.io site if you guys haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
There was an AMA last weekend just before the Arsenal match and they gave out 1mbtc free bets from what I remember to those who took part in the conversation. I only remember what amount it was for because I made it into a 5mbtc win during last weekend matches. So it was certainly a great time there to just watch and ask the CEO any questions about the future of the site and things which are coming up.

So if you want to be part of these little things which Clubtalk has to offer, just message Steve on here and he will see if your sportsbet.io account has enough activity so to have it enabled for you to join in on the next one.
I am assuming you would need have played on the site in the past couple of months and have spent enough on the site so to be able to take part in on the Clubtalk being part of the Club House VIP rank system they have on the site.

What were you thinking? I knew Dotmund was never going to see even a draw against Manchester City Home/Away, mancity is another level above Dortmund we can never compare the two in the last 5 years. I predicted my Semi finalist correctly I'm still going for my
Chelsea vs Mancity (Final)

Sorry sorry, I hardly ever do big bets like that but 5x was so tempting plus you know it wasn't like Dortmund played like shit, and I was sincerely hoping for Haaland to create some mega hattrick. It serves me right:)

I made it up in Europa so it's not too upsetting.

Brighton was the better team and should have won comfortably from the first half but the one thing killing them this season is their inability to score, they need to find a solution to their attacking line. They were decent from the early stage of the season I don't know what went wrong

...snip..
I also thought that it was Brighton's game with the way they attacked and with Pickford out injured I thought this makes it things for Brighton less difficult to get full points but yeah Everton did well  and so did Olsen who pulled some really good saves.

Good to see you made something out of Saints game.

This is why the premier league is rated as one of the best league in the world you never can tell what's gonna hit you in the next game, the club at the bottom of the league could use a team on a winning streak to pick form. This is the time to go for the underdogs, I went in for a Wetbrom win against Soton and Brighton win against Everton in the last match and I was able to cash out some cash on Westbrom. I'm looking forward to another match day of surprises  Grin

Those in relegation scare and just above relegation becomes scary when there are not much matches left. West Brom surprisingly are playing really well by pushing their opponent all the time and not letting them attack as well. Regarding Brighton's game, I think they played really well. When it comes to attack they all coordinate so well. I also thought that it was Brighton's game with the way they attacked and with Pickford out injured I thought this makes it things for Brighton less difficult to get full points but yeah Everton did well  and so did Olsen who pulled some really good saves.

Having seen what west bromwich can do, just goes to show you when you imagine a team would be so easy to beat in a match they can turn up and clean sheet the higher up team on the table. And those stats on paper mean nothing. Cheesy
Same thing happened to Chelsea the weekend before and we all seen Manchester City just get embarrassed by Leeds having a red card just before the half then getting scored on within injury time.

None of these matches have any rhyme or reason to the way they will end this far into the season. Wink

I still think Soton can win too but it is for sure not as simple as all that.
It's not gonna be easy as you think, Sotons are safe right now, they are at a good point off the relegation zone while West Brom is down to earth right now and they have only one mission which "Never Lose" they are hunters right now, we all saw what they did to Chelsea last weekend, Soton might be another victim later today. If Westbrom loses it would do a lot of damage

West Brom is a team that Soton can beat, but it will be hard game just because West Brom is playing a defensive style, and will await for the other team to attack in order to counter-attack and tomorrow game is just like that, so it will be probably a game where both team to score but hard to pick a winner. Personally I would like to see Soton win the game but we a draw would not be bad either.

I think any team in EPL now can beat any other team which makes the league so competitive in the first place. Remember,,, West Brom scored FIVE against Chelsea in the last game (and also scored 3 against them in the first match against them by the way) and they have shown that they are just as capable to beat a top 4 team without defending.

I still think Soton can win too but it is for sure not as simple as all that.

Lingard wow!

And yes,,, I am really hoping for Son to show off some skills again. Even if he cannot score, as long as he puts in one or two assists will be good. We need to win this more than United (yes they are fighting for top spot but seriously who can pull City down, even the loss to Leeds was just a stroke of bad luck I feel).

Amazing times in EPL:)
