Nice odds, rdbase;) Exactly the kind of parlay I like to make, just that I'm probably a lot more conservative than even I thought myself to be. I mean, I'm looking at the games and odds daily, even 2 or 3 times daily but I can't seem to cough up more than a dabbling here and there... just not getting my juices flowing, I guess.

Good thing I like casino games too;)

I'll seriously start betting on e-sports.

I played 2 of these Multimasters already, I mostly pick favorites and I get 50% of them wrong. I'll just try to place the same bet on all the outsiders next and see where it will get me. In the last 2 rounds, it would have brought good profits.

Nothing better to bet on so it's worth a shot.
This isnt a bad approach for entering betting on esports so you get the feel of the games and how each team favors against one another.
And with this pretty much the only game in town other than simulated sports then you will be better off to learn on this game instead. Smiley

The thing with that is that I don't even know how the format looks like. For example, from your post I can assume that they play best 2 out of 3?

I don't find it interesting at all so I can't bother to study the rules, and without even knowing how it works it's practically like picking a color on roulette. The thing is, it looks to me that the chances are way closer to 50:50 than the actual odds are so I will give it a chance purely based on my mathematical evaluation of the last 30 played matches.

Yes, the number of evaluated games could be bigger but I'll start with small bets, just to see if I'm onto something here.

Same here. I've started dabbling in esports now, largely thanks to Sportsbet's Multimaster (which I've also now been able to finally access).

I know of them. Been hearing friends play it since 1990s, and even when I took care of a computer lab for about a year, it was half of what people were playing. So familiar with the sounds and tropes, but so uninterested I don't even want to pick up basic rules... just randomly picking teams and picking up the underdogs when the odds are around 3/1.

Also, with stuff going on, I'm facing a rather bad pay cut, so gotta spend more time hunting. Couldn't spend more time betting if I wanted to.

Interesting share by Trofo though.
Same here actually and have had some success in the game which I first heard about when it was initially turned into a mod from half-life back in 1999.
With such odds you are better off to make parlays such as this one I made yesterday. Grin

That is what I have been doing for the last few weeks and I am quite satisfied with results. Definitely best esport for me is CS:GO. Every team chooses one map and underdogs are often able to win their chosen map. You can bet on over 2.5 maps which has the odds around 2.0. Just today I won both my bets on CS:GO where big underdogs managed to win first map.

I have to stop betting on DOTA2. I almost always lose those bets but I had occasional big win so it is tough to cut it off in these days without any betting options.

I've decided to experiment next time, will flip a coin for every selection. The objective is to get more correct picks than i had this week, which is 4. Cheesy

I did a similar thing for one of the football Multimasters by rolling a dice, but didn't help as well, can't get anything going with this promo Grin

Well I think at least he will get more than 4 out of 15. Couldn't be that much bad luck with coin flip. I also do the same actually with LOL events coinflip with events that I think difficult to determine a selection. Didn't went great for me but also didn't went that bad as well too.

You could do coin flip but you won't be getting the top of the leaderboard with that. Only thing I think of is to sit and watch the game and analyze their plays.

(...), but how do you explain the Superbowl event where some ended was 12 as well, and every game of those chose have equal chances of hitting, and some of the picks have 3 options IIRC.

There were four 3-way selections, but basically they were 2-way selections too, since the third option was something very unlikely to happen like no TD/FG scored, first score safety. Winning/splitting the 3 BTC is definitely easier with only 2 possible outcomes (though I doubt it will ever happen), for winning the 300mBTC it doesn't matter, since it's the same for everyone. I have not yet given up hope, to be among the winners in the future, but it's more likely this promo ends before I achieve that Cheesy

I mean I've watched Legend of Legends a numbers of times

You did?  Grin

You bet I did, I got to know about it first over a year ago through a then oracle project I was participating in via discord, participants were required to report the teams to draw first blood, number of kills for each team is a specific a round, e.t.c but now its just anything for the boredom.  Sad

I thought of placing a few bets on some though but I don't even which team to go for,  I'd just be going for teams I was very familiar with then Invictus Gaming and Fnatic.

the multi-master winner got 12 out 14 games down. How do you do that honestly?  Roll Eyes

You've got no idea how lucky some people can be, at least with the esport there are favorites and some do have more knowledge about each team, but how do you explain the Superbowl event where some ended was 12 as well, and every game of those chose have equal chances of hitting, and some of the picks have 3 options IIRC.

Teams that got favored this week won 6 games, dogs clutched out 7 and as you said, the multi-master winner got 12 out 14 games down. How do you do that honestly?  Roll Eyes

Didnt notice until the games updated today that the FunPlus Phoenix (LoL) match was postponed so I think it was settled as void bet during the multimaster.
The top person got 12 correct selections out of the 14 (not 15 since the cancelled match mentioned above) and dont know if they are a forum member or not but congratulations to him with having most of them correct except for two.
I had 5 going into today but looks like the favorites that picked were losers as I ended up with 6 correct. Sad

I just checked my selections and so far I see two wrong results out of seven LOL
G2 Esports (LoL) @ 1.08 lost

This 2nd one looks like a very big upset 😜

Are there heavy favorites like this in E-sports too ? I supposed it often is games which decided by small margins, I mean I've watched Legend of Legends a numbers of times and from what I observed they are usually close encounters.
I never have watched a legends game and it seems like the games last alot longer than the cs go matches do at normally two hours if they have a BO3 or go into OT.
But with favorites, this normally would be determined by the odds given out on the teams which have been winning their past matches thus climbing up the leaderboard.

I just was able to put in my bet literally a minute before it closed. Embarrassed
So had to rush to put in my selections for the mutlimaster but it didnt matter because I put most of the favorites in to win with only one of the underdogs to win.
After watching the team vitality game it was complete mess today for esl and I dont even want to know what the results looked like for league. Roll Eyes

How is everybody doing after the first nine games? Anyone in here with a chance to win this week? I'll root for ya tomorrow!

This is by far the worst multi-master for me, i only have 2 or 3 correct picks, stopped counting em' at one point, it was embarrassing.  Grin

Basically all the dogs i went with - lost, favs i backed - also lost...

FunPlus Phoenix vs. Top Esports game is postponed.

I was 4 out of 7 games from yesterday but I just checked back my betslip again a little while ago and realized that I made 13 selections in my bet. Kek, I am out.

I watched Mad Lions vs G2 Esports yesterday, I would say Mad Lions were very good but I think it was all because of miscommunications and sloppy team play from G2 in the game. G2 have been really playing well so far but don't know what happened yesterday.
I'm on 4 wins as well currently on the top 43 of the leaderboards but i'm counting out my entry since i've got way too many losses.

I agree G2 didn't look like the same team when they head in to this series but man that last game of the series was somewhat crazy. With the cheeky backdoors G2 nearly took down the nexus but Mad Lions was able to defend their nexus in time and G2 was 1 hit short in taking it down.

I had four slight underdogs on my multi OG, EG, Rogue and Furia but it's not looking to good at the moment after OG lost, EG taking the series to a third and Furia down on the last map. Picking all of the favorites is currently the best strategy for this weeks multi out of the 5 finished matches only one underdog manage to pull an upset so far which was Mad Lions winning 3-2 against G2.

I like our odds of getting the top prize since there isn't a draw possibility in this matches but then most of us don't know shit about esports so who knows.
I seriously have zero knowledge. I think Aviruns have some knowledge about this sports if I am not wrong. Who else has some decent idea? May be shearing some insight will help to those who will make their picks later.

I don't have that much knowledge but yeah I kinda keep some tabs on CS teams. Apart from CS I don't know anything about other eSport fields.

I will drop my bet later maybe. Gotta spend time researching for now. Did anyone from here won the earlier round. As I last heard I think morvillz was the one closest and I think ialso saw swogerino being the closest one in leaderboard.
