JanpriX! Well done! I have to admit, picking Hertha was more of sentiment, they won me quite a few games last season, whereas Frankfurt did NOT! Frankfurt were the slight favourites too, so I guess a lot of people went for that outside of this crazy group. Also noticed you didn't do any draws in your selections. Well done, proud of you=p

In all fairness to tyKiwanuka I don't think anyone in all of the multimasters site-wide selected Frankfurt to win that game.
But as he had said they are not consistent in their form at all.
But there is still along way to go since Arsenal's game is on Monday so have to wait more than just the weekend to find out who wins with 14 games. Cheesy

Always super annoying. And I am sure there is at least one user who had Frankfurt und the rest of his 14 picks exactly the same as me and thus I am already out^^ This huge win from Berlin in Bremen in round 1 was probably a bit misleading.....Bremen is just poor and they are doing really bad at home for ages already. Hertha was shitty in test matches and in the cup game - I thought this Bremen win maybe was the turnaround for them, but nope. Frankfurt has the better team all in all and Hertha has always been a messy club (they can only play Basketball and Icehockey there properly.......and Waterpolo).

Thanks for providing with this MM table. It really gives another dimension to this great promo. Especially since it is PITA to check your results on SB if you have a lot of tickets. Come Sunday I lose half an hour scrolling to find my picks

I see Hertha as a team which always does surprisingly well in the beginning of the season and then they gradually drop off. If I am not mistaken this was the case last two season. Frankfurt was quite bad at the end of last season, especially in Europe. So those two "facts" + you picking Hertha was enough for me to chose home win.

The only weird pick I have is the draw on Eibar, I feel like the first match could go in the way of Frankfurt after seeing so many visiting teams dismantle the home teams last week. Also I was thinking of taking the Draw or even Brighton to win since they looked good after losing against Chelsea but still went with Man United as the home advantage have less impact.

I can't believe i'm the only going against Watford in this round. They kind of sucked against Boro' despite winning, equalized in the 90th min against Oxford (carabao cup), lucky they didn't get a couple of goals in the first half against Sheffield Wed and got eliminated midweek by a League two team (Newport)...not a great start of the season imo. I wanted to go with Luton to win, but since everyone's taking Watford here, even bookies have them @1.50, i had to go with a draw instead. If Luton wins, i will take it as a moral victory Cheesy

Thanks swog, really appreciate it. We've seen teams capitulate against the odds. I've seen how Juventus played and how Roma almost didn't. But they just got tagged down to a 3-0 loss so maybe they'll be coming out the blocks angry and nipping at Juve. And maybe the gods want me to win 453 BTC.

Who am I to go against consensus? Will follow the herd this time. Really easy picks for me this time. I took one game from you Hertha to win.
