NBA starts and so does MLB, think a couple of seasons ago I was following that a bit with an outright on BoSox... this time though I see there aren't any outright markets, might have to wait as there's maintenance right now, can't place any bets even on football, Liverpool are also missing from all the competitions so I guess my money will have to wait Wink

Two EPL matches just finished for the start of the EPL forum pool week and Brighton Hove had a scoreless draw with Nottingham forest, which nobody had for their prediction.

^ Chelsea made it look easy, United toiled but actually seemed to perform worse than Newcastle so the special didn't hit. @slaman29 Glad you got all those questions sorted out with the help of buwaytress and Trofo.
Thank you both for the well guided explanations about the boosts within the promotions.

I put in a small bet on the Europa league match with Manchester United just to compare the odds boosted with them included and it came out to 2.50x. So the Sportsbet special for the under 3.5 Arsenal win was indeed better to take than to only choose the market with the price boost alone.

Arsenal win u/3.5 market price = 2.40x
After price boost = 2.50x

Special offered = 2.70x

Thanks for all the feedback on odds in promos, and I think you guys are right for sure. Like Trofo says 1.5 only works on the daily 5 multibet, it must be "raw" odds without any type of boost.

And as buway says is half correct, when you share the betslip url from Sportsbet, you cannot see your actual price, boost or without. You only get the selections actually with the current price, not the price you bet at because price always changes!

They are without the boost for sure if that is true and I believe you had good reason to come to that conclusion. Now when I am thinking about it I remembered that it is similar case with multi insurance. Every single match without the boost has to be 1.5 or over even though their combined odds get boosted later on. Those boosts obviously don't count in the end.

Nice question, never thought about that. This one could go both ways. Try asking the live support and if you get an answer please post it here as well.

One more market worth looking at that I use to get over 1.5 on my tickets is often team total scored. Not helpful today since goals are expected but for odds in range 1.4 - 1.49 on match line that market usually pays 1.6.

Yeah, I guess I can agree with you slaman29 on that. It was a bit too much to ask to get over 10.5 corners alongside goals.
But the Arsenal Sportsbet Special did hit. Was over 3.5 goals with an Arsenal win.
And as you all know they won 3-2 against Liverpool. I remembered it cause it was only perfect score prediction in the pool.

I don't know if this was promising though, seems a little bit too much to ask for wins + Haaland + corners, a shame that you only needed one last corner but I guess whenever teams score big, they sit back and the other team also doesn't want to concede more.
