- it looks like Little Mouse is the loser of this round as far as the battle for the top five places is concerned
Disaster in the last 3/4 match day and I'm out of the top 5. I completely blame mv1986 for this disaster because dude was jealous of my performance I'll make a come back. What a shit when this happen and you cant find an answer for the why is this happening, and the only answer is LUCK. THis happen to me on the Premier League pool last 10 rounds were horrible for me, and cant comeback from that point. But well in the other hand here im coming front the last wagon and trying to reach some front wagon.

That are some mean accusations! I was indeed mentioning that Little Mouse did very well, but the round with 6 points was digging a big hole into the outstanding performance. But KTChampions was averaging some solid numbers in all the last rounds. He never really fell behind. Lemming also crushed everyone with his 24 points round. Top 5 is now pretty much out of reach for me, but hey Little Mouse you can still make it

Thanks you man! and also thanks SB for the freebets, lets look on where im gonna spend it. Thankfully we have some Premier League action this mid week. Is good to win a round but i cant stop thinking about i need to have strong rounds in other pools and not in this one in which im far behind of the paid positions, but well lets keep fighting in every front. Maybe if i do two more rounds of this in this pool i can grab something.

I'm surprised that literally everyone guessed the outcome of the Dortmund - Bayer game, but here it was expected. What I'm really surprised by is that again literally everyone (this time except me) guessed the outcome of the Freiburg - Mainz game. It is a pity that Freiburg, having good motivation, could not beat the outsider. By the way, Dortmund will 99% still get a ticket to the Champions League, since Germany is confidently in second place in the UEFA club rankings.

Well i think the chance of seeing that are 0, no wait let me be more correct, 0.000000000000001% of odds of Borusia Dortmund becoming the champion of Champions League But Bayern can be, can Tuchel do the same as he do with the Chelsea? Do you remind that Chelsea was not good but they managed to become the champions. Now is the same picture, and awesome team in term of names of players only waiting for a good teamwork or coaching. I know what you mean, but "0.000000000000001%" is wrong! Remember, did you think that Dortmund could survive the Champions League group stage? I thought there is no way for them to get through and now I thought their journey ends against Atletico Madrid. Keep in mind that Atletico Madrid eliminated Inter Milan. I see PSG as a favorite now, but if Dortmund can somehow make it to the final, it is never a close to 0 chance anymore.
Is Augsburg going to leave us with empty hands in the Bundesliga pool? They have improved a lot in the last few months.

Anyone notice the fact Bundesliga this year put two teams in the semi finals of Champions League and this two teams are in their worst form in years in the local tournament?
Dortmund is playing very bad, and Bayern Munich, well..... no words for them, but somehow they manage to reach the semifinal, helped a little by the draw but still a Champions League semi final.
That observation is correct but I think that any top team from any other league would be looking bad in the Bundesliga given how Bayer Leverkusen has performed so far. I don't know if it has ever done before, but 25 wins and 4 draws in 29 games is most likely a record. But what I totally missed is the Champions League revolution from 32 teams to 36 teams next season. As a consequence, one more starter will come from Italy and probably Germany. They were talking about this weird constellation where Dortmund wins the Champions League, but does not make it into the top four I think and then somehow there could be six starters from Germany. I have to check the exact details again, but well, Dortmund won't win the Champions League! Or will they? Thanks for the reminder, as always. Absolutely beyond me with so few games left so I'm only trying for the yellow caps now. Leverkusen to lose, Mainz to lose, Bayern to lose, why not?
Bayern are going to be protecting every member of their squad for Real, even if it's weeks away. Alonso will do the same no doubt for a dual-pronged attack on trophies. What a luxury!
I see a good chance that Leverkusen could lose the game against Dortmund, but not because Alonso will rotate the team into the ground. I rather think that some of the players won't be playing at 110% at this stage of the season. But I do think that they might be on fire to break the Bundesliga record of 91 points in a season. They would need 4 wins and 1 draw. It is not like a title, but going down in history with a record that could hold for a century doesn't sound like a goal that a team would just ignore for the sake of being fit for the next games. It's possible that Leverkusen really going all out in all of the remaining games.

And they can end the season with no sending offs (they only had one season before that with no red cards, and had 6 last season). I actually feel people talk too little about discipline and how it affects some teams. When Arsenal fixed theirs under Arteta, they also became more stable. Barca with Xavi. I think managers/coaches do a lot in this area. I believe this makes the most sense to me, and tends to be something these managers all have in common, asides from being really young into their coaching careers. When you look at the number of clean sheets in relation to goal conceded and cards received ratio, you'll realize that it's no coincidence assume a similar position and discipline in their playing eras, and have similarities to what they consider to be paramount to their style of play.

cygan, the table hurts me. Please, enough, haha but well done -Lemming-! Little Mouse, the real Xavi, eh? I find it very hard to disagree! I almost want them to go on and win their treble, if it means Liverpool fail to win at Atalanta by 3+ goals. Almost... Bayern has won against relegation candidate FC Köln yesterday but maybe we can already congratulate Leverkusen today to take the title. It's really strange but in a positive way, to see a different team as Bayern Munich to win Bundesliga.
And especially for Leverkusen, it's a big moment after getting called "Vizekusen (Vicekusen)" repeatedly in the past (because Leverkusen came second several times in the past).
And it's done. In style too. No more Vicekusen (I never heard this just Neverkusen, thanks for new knowledge haha). And they still get to keep Alonso for at least one more season. Sure about Kaiserslautern? They're probably relegating but are saving their best for Pokal! Giant slayers, but Alonso's men will be too much eh? ~ what else could have been required of them to go down in the history of books of the Bundesliga ? There's nothing else I can possibly think of.
Already have the longest unbeaten run. I hope they go unbeaten in all competitions this season if Liverpool fail to overcome the deficit in Italy. That would be unprecedented, and the hardest record to set. But only 10 more games to go! They can also try and get more than 91 points to break another Bayern record as 1miau already said. Important point as well. Leverkusen is still unbeaten and maybe Leverkusen can even make it a whole Season to be unbeaten in Bundesliga, breaking some Bayern records from recent years as well, like total points collected.
Becoming invincibles would be cherry on top which would mark this historical season. They deserved it, buut after they claimed title already, it will be not that easy to be 100% focused and they still have some difficult opponents like Dortmund, Stutgart or Eintracht. And they still have unfinished things in Europa league and DFB Pokal final. German Cup (DFB Pokal) should be easy to do, as Leverkusen will face Kaiserslautern, a team from Germany's second league and currently a relegation candidate to 3rd League because Kaiserslautern is not playing very well currently. Odds for Leverkusen to win DFB-Pokal might be around 1.10 or lower. Europa Leage - here it's getting difficult because Leverkusen still has to face more opponents due to the tourmanemt being only at quarterfinal stages and opponents seem to be very competitive here. So, 2 titles should be safe for Leverkusen but another title - from Europa-League - will be more difficult but a cherry of top, of course.

And it finally happened - we can't call Bayer as Vizekusen or Neverkusen anymore. They left no questions today by destroying Werder 5:0. Fans started to invade pitch a bit too early, so referee had blow final whistle earlier than supposed because there is no way how this game can be continued. But it's easy to understand their emotions when your team is winning their first Bundesliga trophy. You don't see such wild images when Bayern wins their routine Bundesliga. Important point as well. Leverkusen is still unbeaten and maybe Leverkusen can even make it a whole Season to be unbeaten in Bundesliga, breaking some Bayern records from recent years as well, like total points collected.

It is a much deserved title for Bayer in all fairness, and they are doing it in a very remarkable fashion at that, a kind of dominance that would have been expected of no other team but Bayern Munich.
Definitely, it's well deserved. Leverkusen did well in head-to-head matches against title contenders and Leverkusen didn't drop the ball against midfield / relegation candidate teams. Also, in close games, Leverkusen often scored late to secure important points. From all aspects, Leverkusen truly deserves to win the title and currently, Leverkusen leads 1-0 against Werder Bremen, what would mean Leverkusen gets "Deutsche Meister" already today. Leverkusen are still unbeaten in the league despite being behind on several occasions, they've always managed to turn it around, they have the best goal difference and the least goal conceded, what else could have been required of them to go down in the history of books of the Bundesliga ? There's nothing else I can possibly think of.
