but this season is more about Leverkusen than Bayern, Bayern won title last season with 71 point, and they will probably reach that number this season as well, but Leverkusen is already on 64 points, not sure about records there, but this seems as perfect season for them
Last year Bayern had 52 points after 25 games, 5 less than now, so they are certainly going at a better pace than last year. But still, even last year was a crisis for them and it is not worth emulating. Bayer is at the pace of the champion Bayern of the best years and they broke their record for the number of games without defeat (it seems that they have already surpassed it by 3 games).
Therefore, for Kane this season there are only personal awards and a chance in the Champions League. That's actually a fact that many people are missing because Bayer Leverkusen makes Bayern Munich look worse than they are. As you said, last season wasn't a good season either, but things are completely different when there is not some team that is playing so brilliantly like Leverkusen. I seriously hope that Bayer Leverkusen won't mess this up again!
It's hard to imagine, but you know the so called "Bayern-Dusel", which is that somehow they are the lucky winners in the end. Last year it was Dortmund messing it up big time. There are still some tough games to be played against Dortmund and Stuttgart, but I think they are good to go if they don't lose the game against Wolfsburg this weekend.
