I would like to also congratulate Medvedev as well. He went against one of the greatest tennis players in history and he went toe to toe with him. I know that Medvedev is not bad himself neither but Nadal is on another planet when we are talking about talent, maybe he is as good or maybe he got worse from his peak but that dude is still one of the best ever in history.
So, to go with him to the last point is something very good. In any case congratz to Nadal, dude is just surreal, he keeps winning at his age, I was thinking maybe he lost a step and he would not be as good anymore and he would not be winning, which we have seen from other all time greats where they are awesome and beat everyone but then end up not being great when they get older, but Nadal is still doing awesome.
Yeah exactly, dude played amazingly and he managed to win some respect from the tennis world at the same time. Not like he was nobody before this game, not like it was david vs goliath situation, Medvedev was always a good player and he is ranked very high because of that, so it is not like he just came out of nowhere and suddenly were in the finals, it is just about the fact that he played against one of the goats of the sport and that is the reason for it.
I hope that we get to see something a lot better in the future, I do not know when that would be or how that would be but I know that Medvedev will dominate the sport in the near future, I certainly hope he would take Djokovic out of domination after Nadal retires.
