I really had some bad luck with my free bets from Sportsbet, losing one of them on UFC fight and second one lost betting on those bloody friendly matches, so maybe I am saving myself for that big $100k prize Smiley

Meh.
I would agree that Spurs is not a top level team, which leaves a tier two for remainder, but this is like whole europe of course. Think about it this way, Spurs is not even in european competitions this year right? Or even if they are, they barely made it in there so what does that tell you? We are talking about a "tier 1" of european clubs, the city, the Liverpool (which dropped this season a bit) the real madrids, the barcelonas, the PSG, the Bayern and many of the likes, those are the tier ones who basically fight for the UCL every season, is there even a single chance Spurs could win premier league or UCL in the next few seasons? There is none.

It means that makes them a tier two team for me and for others like me. I am not saying they are a bad team, they are good, they are just not THAT good and definitely tier 2 for europe as well.

I mean.. They lost to Liverpool in the finals just 2 years ago. But hey ho let's say they're not a top tier team in Europe, lol.

Edit:
17/18 they made top 16 in UCL
18/19 they made the final in UCL
19/20 they made top 16 in UCL
20/21 they went through a pandemic and 3 coaches, as well as some injuries on the main man Kane. I think we can cut them some slack and still call them a good European team that does not belong in any tier 2 category.

Anyone noticed that Sportsbet started with new Free 6-6 promotion for Euro and we can we can get up to $100,000 in Bitcoin if we correctly predict outcome for six matches of round 1?

I noticed that yesterday, pretty cool promo.  I put in my predictions, of course.  Sportsbet also have a 4/3 promo with free predictions.  If you get all 4 predictions right you get a $50 free bet, if you get 3 of 4 correct you get a $10 free bet.  Yesterday's predictions were for the Formula 1 races this morning, today's promo is to predict the results of the France vs. Bulgaria match.  It's not $100k, but still cool.

Euro is staring in few days and I hope we are going to see some good matches and win some bets.

Turkey vs Italy
Wales vs Switzerland
Denmark vs Finland
Belgium vs Russia
England vs Croatia
Austria vs North Macedonia
https://sportsbet.io/sports/bet-free-6-6

Thank you for this, I did not notice it until now so happily put in all my picks for big wins for England, Belgium, Austria, not sure about Italy Wales Denmark but I might change my picks currently do small wins for these guys. I picked almost all losers to have zero goals too. First game so unlikely to have draws right?

i also had Italy in one of my friday bet slips

kind of a no brainer to back Italy nowadays. 9 wins in a row, they are unbeaten in almost 30 games, showing splendid football in every match. One of the main favorites to win the Euro for sure
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/soccer/international/european-championship/european-championship-60619d7fb94a9726b585fe8d  as you can see here they are not, they are 7th in the odds which is basically eliminated before semi finals levels, if a team is not even semi finals worthy than there is rarely ever "one of the best teams" situation going on for them.

I am not saying that it is impossible for them to win, they could get lucky with the draws and maybe someone worse will beat someone better and would be easier opponent for Italy that way etc etc, like these things do happen in these cups I am not against that at all and I agree with it. However this is "unexpected" that may happen we are talking about, on the average Italy is not seen as the best. My personal favorite is France, they have been good for a while and they will probably be good again this year.

Every Team To Have A Yellow Card In The Group Stages / Yes
Guys, what do you think about today's offer from Sportsbet? I think the bet looks pretty safe considering that each team will have 3 chances of getting a yellow card. I feel like I will have to replenish the balance again ... because over the next 5 days we will definitely see a couple of tempting offers.
I agree at 6.00 it's a good offer, even though it only takes one team to ruin the party it's more likely that every single team will get at least one yellow.

Spurs tier 2-3??? Wtf
Maybe he knows something about which we don't even suspect ... for example, Gary Kane's transfer to Liverpool.  Grin [Although that doesn't change anything either]

Pep will never go to a tier 2-3 team like Spurs is nowadays

Spurs tier 2-3??? Wtf

@boltz Tottenham may not have won the league title in a long time now, but they’re definitely not a tier 2 - 3 team. Furthermore if you have forgotten they were on the top of the premier league table for a very long time this season, before they chocked and collapsed which proves they’re a quality team just and they just need a right coach to help them challenge for the title.

Pep will never go to a tier 2-3 team like Spurs is nowadays so don't get to hype around that idea. Pep clearly said he has a single purpose left with City and that is to make them think and believe they are they top team in Europe so they should win UCL in the next 2-3 years. ( all this will be possible with Pep staying ).

Euro is closer and closer everyday , that is what I'm waiting for.

I believe that Spurs would be a decent test for both Pep and Spurs, Mourinho versus Pep has always been a thing in the past and because Pep was luckier he got to richer clubs and managed to get a decent result, at least won the league and all that, Mourinho is now dropped as low as Roma which is not horrible but it is not a team that is fighting for champions league. We have proven that Pep is not great at champions league, he literally came to finals versus Chelsea, the same team they beat by a huge point margin in the league and the same team that lost to Leicester on FA cup very recently and they ended up losing to them in the finals.

If you ask me that is a good enough reason to fire him and get a new manager. At this point I know it would sound insane for most but I suggest Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa, I just believe in him too much, in a few seasons he can take this team to domination over Europe, but I have personal bias because I like him so much.

It would be a REAL test for Pep to see if he can actually manage a team without a big budget and only one or two really world-class players. He is famous for turning no names into big names at City but he still had a team of stars surrounding them,,, so very interesting to see if he can at another smaller club with tight budget and it does not get tighter than Spurs LOL

Here's my late bet on Italy vs. Czech Republic: I went with Italy's total goals, as i'm pleased to see both Berardi and Locatelli in the starting lineup (that Sassuolo connection ftw)...

Fraudiola might get sacked if he doesn’t win the CL soon. How many attempts with unlimited funds does he need to win it?

He hasn’t won it without Messi.

Overrated manager, put him in charge of a team like Liverpool or Spurs with limited transfer budgets & let’s see how good he is.
Please put him in Spurs hehe,,, I am afraid now if we do not get Pochettino back we might get someone worse than Mourinho. Poch at my club showed his true value, and the same I always said for Arsene Wenger who both worked with clubs refusing to open the bank account to strengthen their ambitions.

I am afraid you are right about Pep, if he does not have expensive team below him I doubt he has the same success.

How is everybody doing, and more importantly how is your bankroll in these trying times aka pre-EURO/COPA friendlies and whatnot?

I can't believe my 3-legged monster odds parlay on Estonia, North Macedonia and Kosovo hit... Grin

Here's my late bet on Italy vs. Czech Republic: I went with Italy's total goals, as i'm pleased to see both Berardi and Locatelli in the starting lineup (that Sassuolo connection ftw)...and from what i've seen Czechs don't play defensive football, they won't park the bus or anything like that, it should be an open match with goals, at least 3?!  Roll Eyes Tongue

Werner couldn’t hit a barn door from 6 yards, the guy is a total dud.
Your comment reminded me of a picture I saw on Facebook soon after the Champions League finals ended. He really can't do anything right, can he? Grin I just checked his stats for the season, and I am surprised to see that he collected a total of 15 assists in all competitions. It's quite decent for a striker. But his goal scoring abilities are below average.

Timo Werner has everything to destroy defense system of opponents. Good pace, good movements and connections with team mates but he is lack of one thing: finishing skill. I don't say his finishing skill is terrible because he scored lots of goal before his transfer to Chelsea.

He lost confidence that in turn causes awkwardly shots from him. Werner reminds me about Giroud. They have a similarity with good connections with team mates and contributions to the team, in tactic. Obviously Giroud has more confidence with his shot rather than Werner.

Giroud won the World Cup with France, played all matches in that tournament but can not score a single goal.
