The buy in for the 1btc tourney was 0.001 btc with 500 shirts to be given away also less than 200 participants, I cant remember the exact number but everyone should be able to get a shirt if they requested it . The signed shirt cost 0.05 btc, would have been great bargain to get 0.05 btc goods for 0.001 btc Tongue

Just my speculation but probably the delay for the shirts from What Bitcoin Did Tourney was because it wasnt handled by sportsbet but it was handled by the whatbitcoindid podcast. We were asked to input our shipping details in the whatbitcoindid website instead of sportsbet site so yeah ( just my speculation though Roll Eyes

If I am not mistaken, I believe those ones would have been the signed jerseys while the ones given out for the Return of the Champions competition were not. Only the Messi and Ronaldo ones were. I didnt participate in the 1 btc poker tourney so dont know about the specifics about the prizes given out but I would imagine they would give out a valuable prize worth more than 35quid for what each of these non-signed jerseys are worth.
I won the signed jersey by the entire team so they are worth around $500 (worth in BTC at the time) according to their product listing on the website's online store.

I loved the SportsGuru idea but every time I wanted to play, there were only 1-2 more players. The NFL draft one was huge but it was because of Sportsbet rewards, other than that it didn't really attract much interest.

I hope it will get more traction in the future, we could have big pools in which we choose league positions/top goalscorers/relegated teams etc at the beginning of each season.

@Steve and @darxiaomi: Actually, I was the other of the 3 players in sportguru. I made my predictions for Watford, even used my powers correctly yet still only got 2nd place (sojourner). I assumed all funds were refunded since only 3 of us played it (damn guys we need more of you to play it's only about $1 entry I think 0.1+ mbtc;) ). Careful with those score in both halves specials. They look good at first glance but can end badly.
The last one I was looking to putting my 1mbtc on was Salah to score in both halves at 7x odds as well.
And he didn't put in a goal in the first half. Of course had about 50 chances too but still didnt put one behind the net. Embarrassed

I would rather take that 1mbtc and put on Norwich to be honest. Take the risk for a bigger reward.
Odds on sportsbet is 22.00x while stake has them at 21.00x.
So put them to win on good ol' sportsbet I'd say if you want to benefit on a usual upset.
