Big game for our favorite Watford guys tonight. This seems like a last station on avoid relegation train for hornets. They are playing at home against worst team in Premier League and they have to deliver tonight. I really believe the time has come for one good Watford presentation and big win, playing them for high stake and keeping fingers crossed they make a nice step to securing PL next season and bringing me some money as well Smiley

But I finished in the top 25 several times, and two moire times in the money(top 12),  IIRC.
To be honest I did not play many tourney in Poker with Steve unfortunately.
Not loading in my computer, then after few weeks I discovered that I can use my phone which loads the app, then holidays, then some internet problem etc. All together I think I managed to play only 4/5 tourney. In one tourney I finished at 18th if I am not wrong. Not underestimating your achievements by the way. Just sharing that I was not able to play most of the tourney for several reasons.
~

I understand, I missed some of them too. There's more in our lives than just poker. Smiley I know you as a good poker player, despite the fact that you've been playing poker for less than a year. You've been making amazing progress, mate! Good job!

That is awesome news. Hopefully it has more to do with listening to the constructive criticism than, just some backdoor stuff between them and the provider. I am looking forward to seeing what they come back with as I would love to go back and play there again. Maybe they'll re-launch with a phat prize tournament. I had pretty much given up on playing there until now but will be looking forward to seeing their launch.
You guys think sportsbet.io is big enough to actually make their first acquisition (well first that I know of) with another casino?

not an acquisition---more like a licensing arrangement where sportsbet.io pays for the rights to provide poker software, and possibly for access to additional player liquidity through a network.

that's what they were already doing with coinpoker's software, paying to license it. hopefully they'll find someone better now.

Hopefully they'll find it fast. I don't know why it is like this with poker, but that's a fact that it's very hard to get the audience, and it's very easy to lose it. I know a site where thousands played online simultaneously 3-4 years ago. Then they suddenly discontinued poker on their site, and then decided to renew it several months later. ... Months have passed since then, but even with a couple of daily free rolls with 1 mBTC prize pool, and several GTD tournaments, they are still getting not more than a few dozen participants.

@rdbase, yeah I took it at 9.16 with my boosted price (it was 8.6) but I'm sure live betting would have bumped the odds up even higher before the goal. Just that to me it's really hard to predict how either team plays to rely on live betting. I do take livebets especially if I get the mood of the players but well, football does have a tendency to surprise even against the run of play!

Aww yes Multi Master!

As it looks like if there is a breach of the information stuff, they are already contacting and getting the bottom of it and they will fix it for sure. Plus it looks like its regarding mails and it looks like a trouble for the mail provider (like chipmail or whatever) that is why I think it is not 100% their fault, it is probably mail providers problem.

So, I think it is quite important to know where the problem arrived from, but as long as Steve said tech guys are looking into it, there is no problem. Remember this is the same place that paid 6 million for the sponsorship, that is always something you should consider, because it shows how HUGE sportsbet is, they are GIGANTIC in crypto space, so there is absolutely nothing they can't handle if given the chance and would never mean any harm.

I told to myself I have to spend 20-25 days finding the vulnerability, I can't let that go.
I posted that message here and steve replied back to me in the PM and provided a mail to write to the security team.
I did that, and just now few minutes back my bug report got triaged. So it means my report is accepted.... Tongue

Whoops yeah i can see what you've done there.

Goodluck for your bug bounty journey, I'm sure they'll give an appropriate rewards for your work.

Hi,
This is the response I got my from our IT guys:

""Thank you for your report, there do not appear to be any security implications as a direct result of this behavior. It does not affect the security or privacy of users but still, we are going to consider this as low risk as its a design flaw.
Our security team already contacted the customer regarding this via HackerOne and an appropriate fix will be deployed soon.""

That's the last of it in my opinion. Any other tech queries are best dealt with via email

Also, FYI @Boris, this is BTCtalk forum, not sportsbet.io.. So I can't delete you, delete your account or cancel your emails Smiley  Im a normal user on here like everyone else and the BTCtalk moderators do the nasty stuff if need be.

Hope you guys got a winner on the weekend, I took a massive hit.. brutal weekend! Hoping I can start clawing some back this week.. lets see if Watford can at least beat Norwich  Shocked Shocked

regards,

Steve.

Alright, glad that things has been sorted out.
Now it's clear that the sportsbet.io userid is safe, that's just a minor bug .. still .. it's a vulnerability that boris has found right?

Good observation. Thanks to Manchester city losing it saved me some how. I had Southampton to win all along. What were the odds of them beating city again I sworn I seen them at over 9.5x on the book I took them on while they went up 1?
If I had some more mbtc I would of put atleast 1 or 2 just on that single match alone to get a bump up in the final day of the Return of the Champions promotion which now just ended. I reached 31st spot but 20th was double the points I had so I just gave up.

I have decided to give a today's special a chance. More goals scored in Premier League than in La Liga today. Odds are not so good @1.9 for Premier league but I decided to give it a go since both Liverpool and City play today and if one of them gets to scoring high they could win the bet themselves. I am bit afraid of the Villareal - Barca game since this one could be full of goals as well.

Saw that too but I wasn't sure on City scoring a lot, but didn't foresee Newcastle and West Ham suddenly blazing guns. Nice win all the same. I seldom pick specials that are below 4/1 haha.

Currently, I'm deciding on whether to bet between Southampton and Manchester City. My plan is to get the +1.5 GOALS for Southampton. Any insider advice for this match?  Tongue Might really be able to use it here.  Grin

JanpriX come on, you know my tip is always public and probably super predictable;) How could you miss a 9/1 opportunity for an outright Southampton ML? Haha. Anyway, what were the odds for +1.5?

@Steve: I had a good weekend thanks to City somehow losing, but really haven't been doing well throughout the week so it was more of a Hail Mary salvage. But it's all good fun!

Make winning bets on sports with sportsbet.io!
I have written pms to steve but have got no reply.

In a nutshell, the scenario is similar to:

If sportsbet.io sends an email about an offer to all persons of their site via email then each person should receive that message in their email separately and should not be able to know the email Ids of other persons who also happen to receive the same message from sportsbet.io

In the particular scenario, the internal userId of each player is exposed who happen to receive the particular notification.

I hope steve will pay attention so that I can explain to him in more detail. I do have made a full video as a POC.

See? Now you have got noticed and saying you got no reply while actually you get replied that's a bold lie .. it's just makes the company sounds bad on responding such reports .... if only steve didn't clarify it down below your post there will be many many speculation about how critical it is to have user id leaked .

Aaaand the truth is?
Can we know about this one steve?

Frankly Let me tell you the truth.

Maybe Steve blocked me a 2-3 days back!
I was unable to send him PM today morning, You can see my post in Meta.
That time I did not know why I was not being able to quote him in PMs. After that, I discovered that he blocked me and I felt shame and deleted my post in meta saying that it was an IP fault.
I told to myself I have to spend 20-25 days finding the vulnerability, I can't let that go.

I know Steve is busy person and don't deal with Tech stuffs, but for me, he is the representative as I know him from this forum, so what problem comes I will tell him.

Anyways, Thank you, guys Smiley

Yesterday did anyone take the Messi Sportsbet specials? It was paying out 4.0 for Messi to both score AND assist. So as you know, he assisted Luis Suarez before he scored himself, only for the goal to be counted as invalid.

Other than that, nothing more achieved than another Ansu Fati goal:)

Hi Sportsbet.io

I have sent you a PM regarding the userIds of all your players being leaked, but you happen to ignore the issue.

Let me know if the players of sportsbet.io should be ok with their userids being exposed due to misconfiguration. The other private details are also being exposed like the notifications they received and if they have read those notifications or not??

I personally think players are bothered about privacy especially in the crypto ecosystem.

Of course it is not.

Where do you get that kind information?
Did you observe it by yourself or what?

You just come over here straight informing that sportsbet.io userid got leaked which i knew it you are looking for some attention.
Elaborate the whole story , or else yeah talk to steve here , you might found that steve a little bit slow on responding messages on the weekend because yeah it's a weekend dude, dayoff.

Have you tried to email them tho?

I have written pms to steve but have got no reply.

Due to some uncertainty surrounding the continuation of our Poker provider’s offering we have decided to look for another product that can bring you an improved gameplay and more enjoyable experience. Until that time we will no longer support the existing poker tables we have on site.

ah, that explains things! i'm really hopeful this means they're actively looking to license a different poker software, or maybe operate a skin on an existing poker network. i've always been open about my disdain for SB's poker provider, coinpoker, with its poorly designed interface. they can find much better IMO. fingers crossed that we hear some news about this in the near future......
That is awesome news. Hopefully it has more to do with listening to the constructive criticism than, just some backdoor stuff between them and the provider. You guys think sportsbet.io is big enough to actually make their first acquisition (well first that I know of) with another casino? Let's be honest there is just one more place in crypto world that is poker website and has a bit of players, they have lacked players since the start of their website and that's their trouble, however their code is iron clad and they are doing a product that nobody else can and they have a great amount of workers who do proper events and so forth all the time with great poker knowledge.

I am not going to name them but they are doing poker tournaments on the website nowadays and have a bitcointalk topic about their tournaments as well, it is a bitcointalk tournament basically. Which tells me if sportsbet.io acquired them instead, I would assume that they could actually make a great amount of profit and would be win-win for both parties.
