The case, which has left the club facing disciplinary action including a possible points deduction, came to light after the other eleven Austrian Bundesliga teams said they had seen videos which showed Linz holding full training sessions.
Source - Negative effects apply equally to all teams (giventhat no unfair methods like the above were used). So all teams would be similarly affected by training deficit, lack of playing practice etc.
But what I can already imagine is that after the long lockdown period, players are now more susceptible to emotions like stress and excitement before the games. This will definitely have an impact on their performance.
