@rdbase: yours is among many threads who should now see a revival in activity! I'll post my bets shortly in my own and share my MM picks but probably a bit after the actual MM first leg starts. Would't want anyone to poach my super picks now would I;)

@bearexin: Nah I'm sure we'll get poker activity going on. I still want to participate, just that lockdown time has been extremely taxing on me, but mind you, if I do get my holiday in July (fingers crossed), I'm pokering a lot! In betwixt sports! Besides, what shall we do when football season takes a break? I'm fine with how Poker looks, it could be better but everyone has an opinion and once more, this IS Sportsbet!

Awesome updates on poker guys. Haven't made my entrance in weeks, bloody real life just a bit much to handle at the moment, but I daresay the quality of poker's really picking up on this place. Just really bad timing that when there's plenty of supply, I don't have the time to demand!
But, how long this poker will continue now that the football is coming back? I know you guys really enjoyed it and it looks like if it stays permanent and be here all the time it doesn't look like it will get less and less attention, but it looks like some people may have gone back to just betting as well (even though there are new ones).

If this is going to be permanent I think there needs to be some overhaul on the design for a separate poker page on the website, this has been requested for a long time but I haven't seen any improvements so far, and not even an indication of it neither. Do you have any plans for it? Or is poker more like "something to spend time on until sports comes back" type of deal? If that is the case there is no need to really work on it too much.

And now back to Sports, cause we're sports =p : bookies knew what they were doing eh @XarXymtroa and @jostorres?

2 entire goals for the selections. That under 6.5 looks paltry right now.

I bet on the over 6.5 for that special with little units and I paid the price. Thinking "this bet is too easy" was a very bad omen for me.  Grin

Multi Master is available now and we know what to do. Time to bust up my flip-coin strategy on what team to bet.  Grin

Sry bitcoingirl.. in my head.. i thought u had a set or two pairs.. plus i had the chip advantage..one of the more important reasons i called.. wouldn't called probably if i had around 10k chips.. i calculated in that situation i had around 15-20 outs before the turn and river......other guy who called for sure overvalued his king since he had 7 as a kicker..that caught me as a suprise..
eventually guy who had crazy luck all night knocked me out..so i  finshed 16th..those 15 who remained.. alot of em had a great run whole night in luck department since i was at the tables they played .. calling all ins with mid range cards or ace with weak kicker.. wining 3 or 4 all in's where they were mayor underdogs... but i guess some of em got alt accounts so one out of 20 will eventually reach final table coz of crazy luck..
to reach final table u ll have to go 5-6 times all in and win..since sooner or later u ll run into these guys who plays agressive during later stages of the tour..and if one catches a lady luck which isnt that unlikely .. u are toast..
once again sry : )
There you are ajvar89! Good to have you in here.
Come on! There are no needed to say sorry. It's just another hand and another lose. When two hands are up against each others then one has to lose, last night it was me. This post to share with the community is just the way we go with this forum.
You had almost double chips than all of us on the same table. I think few hands before the hand I lost, you were ALL IN against Trofo and won that hand. Trofo had like over 20k chips so even after losing that hand he still had over 10k chips.

All good man. I hope you had fun there.

You should have called that second all in when I made you flop after we had 2-3K on table. I had nothing, like 9, 6 in the hand without even a single pair. Would feel a bit better if you got my chips.
I think on that hand after losing I was down to 7.5 chips. I can not remember the cards but I had a pair when I was folding but was not that strong I guess so I did not risk much. But in the 2nd last hand [hand before I gone out], I also had AJ and I had J pair, you rose in the pre-flop and in the flop too.  I was expecting wild play from you on on the turn but you flopped. Not sure what you had but I had this feeling that if you called I would get you with that AJJ.

Anyway, it was quick last night but was fun for a short time. I can't wait to see you guys again in the next tourney.

By the way, 2nd time me and Trofo had started on the same table. Imagine over 188 players and you have known face on the same table, twice. Amazing, isn't it?

By the way, I had Ttofo on my table and he witnessed the show. Poker God! DAMN YOU!!!

I don't know who that is Smiley

I wasn't much of the witness, I played while doing other stuff and was immediately sent to other table. Didn't even realize you were out. I was out pretty soon after that as well. You should have called that second all in when I made you flop after we had 2-3K on table. I had nothing, like 9, 6 in the hand without even a single pair. Not a good day for me. Players were playing extra defensively and I was enjoying that. Won 50-60 hands and increased my chips to 22K.

But then came a player from other table with 8K chips. He was going all in on every second hand. I controlled my urge for some time, even folded AKs. But after few hands, it had become impossible to resist him. At last I callled this all in with 10-10 pocket pair. He was holding 88 pocket pair and 8 was dealt on flop. He won the hand and it's understandable that I didn't have much advantage with 10-10 against 8-8. But then came the worst part, he was still going all in on every second or third hand. Then I got AA and he raised all-in in pre flop. I thought it was good time to get my chips back and I called his all-in bet. Can you guess, he was calling all-in with 78o!! But do you believe what happened next? 8 was dealt among flop cards (I was like ok, not this time, I have AA against 88) but then river was another 8.

So a guy took all my chips in two hands that I stacked in over 100 hands with 88 vs 1010 and 78o vs AA. Winning both times with three of kind (8 ).

That guy on my left, ajvar89 - how the fuck he call my ALL in with his J8 hearts in The Flop? It's okay that the other guy called it too coz he had a K pair already. In the flop I got a straight AKQJ10, I have no reason not to go ALL IN and I was wishing the guy on my left to call me and he did, I was super happy. Then when the guy in the right called too, I was in the moon! Then I saw both of them were calling each others in the turn and also in the river. I was silently enjoying it. But when the hands were shown - and when saw the river had this A hearts then I had nothing to do.

Calling big in the River make sense for this guy on my left but before that even in the turn how the fuck he was knowing that he is going to get another hears in the river and will have a fucking flush?

Crazy AF!

i'm back in the game after 2 hands won vs that guy who knocked me down to 376 chips at the beginning. Smiley
It's a huge comeback. WoW!
I never had such ride LOL

only in a freeroll (albeit one that has lots of value) does the action get this crazy. Tongue

my luck eventually ran out, knocked out in 39th. one donk at the table had been raising every hand. i shoved KTs from the button with 10 or 11 bbs left and got called by K8s from the BB. i was thrilled with the all-in odds (70-30), not so much with the board:

good game, and thanks for the shot steve!

Well, the chance of getting that 1 hearts card in the next 2 turns is not really that small - I think statistically around 40%.

If he gets it, it's a winning hand so I can understand him taking that risk. Flush plays are the most risky though, because if you don't hit you are almost always left without anything that can win a hand.

I really had the worst time with flush decisions in our tournament - I would probably call this one as well.
But he was already taking chance in the flop. He called my ALL IN in the flop. It was just a coin flip for him not caring much about losing those chips. Even the other guy was too quick to call ALL IN with just a K pair.

playing huge pots against flush draws is always a big gamble. if i can get in a 3-way or bigger pot with a strong flush draw on the flop, pot odds generally make it worth it. especially as the raiser since sometimes you can just get made hands (like top pair) to fold.

keep in mind, the J8 villain also had an open-ended straight draw. exact odds on that hand after the flop:

He also had a straight draw (and can't know that an opponent already flopped straight), so overall a potential monster hand with even the tiny chance of a Royal flush. I would call an all-in anytime on such a flop. These are the odds at the flop:
