And one more question how you determine the convertion rate between bitcoins and fiat ?
They probably use the conversion rates from btcx exchange since it's the main exchange they recommend when you check their buy bitcoins in the deposit window.

thank you for your answer

Sorry I do not think I can join any poker tournaments from my side, on any platform. I sort of got in trouble not so much because I played poker but because it takes too long to play for me. Maybe if I lived all alone with my own computer and nothing else to do;) Good luck everyone else!

I feel you.I play only through my mobile only when I am at work because at home my wife is all over me and of course I don’t tell her that I gamble. She doesn’t know a bit about bitcoin and private browsing which I use to play and she can’t see that in my phone. You can try to do this from your smartphone,it is easier to hide it than it is playing in front of the computer in your home.

Hi Guys,

There is a 2nd Formula 1 Virtual race this weekend!

There are some F1 drivers racing against the best of the Esports world!  Lando Norris is favorite and Charles LeClerc makes his debut in this exhibition format!

(No odds at yet for Le Clerc, there is no Esports history to go on!)

Norris at 2.75 and VanDoorne at 5.00 look pretty juicy to me.
(max bet 20mbtc)

Best of luck guys!!

Greetings to all.
Sorry if this is asked before , but i couldn't find the answer:
In order to be protected from bitcoin volatility i was wondering
Is it possible to deposit bitcoins and then  turn the balance of my account to euros , and if eventually i want to withdraw then  turn again the balance from euros back to bitcoins (obviously at the rate of the time of withdrawal request) ?
Thanks

You have the answer above, but to be specific, I believe you can only withdraw in the currency that you deposit, which is basically the same requirements you would find on any regulated casino (so it helps to prevent money laundering I think is the reason).

So you HAVE to withdraw your bitcoins anyway;)

Thanks ! Obviously i will withdraw bitcoin as i mentioned in my original post ! So the procedure is like this
1) Deposit btc
2) Convert btc to euro (so my balance is not subject to bitcoin fluctuations)
3) Bet
4) Convert back to bitcoin
5) Withdraw bitcoin

Steve could you please confirm this ?

And one more question how you determine the convertion rate between bitcoins and fiat ?

This poker playing on bitcointalk has started to get some real traction. We started as a game every 2 weeks then shifted to game every week and we are on 2 games every week. If sportsbet adds a game on Friday that would be 3 games per week. Definitely a rising curve. If you ask me the more the better, that way we can choose which ones to play. My only problem is that I definitely don't have time to play all of them Smiley

There's a tourney starting this Saturday, it will be played on Saturdays and Sundays for the next month. They start at 5PM GMT.

I assume most of us will be playing these 2 because they are the first 2 games in a series of 8 so we need to start collecting points for the final.

Maybe a Friday game on Sportsbet? It can be a warmup for the weekend tourney. Smiley

hi cryptofrka,

WOW! What timing! We have been working with a 3rd party supplier on this very thing! It is within a whisker of being launched fully! give us 24 hours and we will have it out for you guys!

It will be an 8 question predictor that you can enter into a pool and win real cash each DAY! Its sort of like picking your fantasy team for dream stars or Dream 11.

We are including BITCOIN price, NASDAQ + Nikkei index.. actually it could be possibly live on Mobile already... check it out if it is.. its called SPORTS GURU

This was meant to be launched for the IPL Cricket ( Which I had tickets to the Opening Game  Cry Cry ) but we had to hold off.

When Sports Guru is fully Launched tomorrow, I will be back with more details!!

ALSO! If any one sees and obscure sports out there that has markets, let us know! We will do our best to source any sport of event YOU guys want to bet on... let us know and our trading team will do their very best!

Regards,

Steve.

Hey Steve, thanks for the answer Cheesy You really are trying hard to give us multiple betting options during this period.

I'm really happy about this one, poker was great as well so now I'm looking forward to that 'poker with Steve' event you announced some time ago. These forum tournaments keep the spirits up and kind of keep us connected, at least I have that feeling.
It is much more satisfying to win against someone you speak with than against a random name online.

I did hear something about the wwe wrestlemania going on still but the champion(? Undecided) wont be taking part in it because of underlying health concerns being a former cancer survivor and having a comprised immunity system from it from years ago.

UEFA suspends everything indefinitely but everything is awesomes.

Looking forward to the new shizzles coming out, cyberfootball whaaat?

Speaking of Esports, i'm glad to see that the Multi Master is back again for second straight week in its Esports edition. It's a nice little distraction in these weird times.

I had a chance to win it back-to-back this past Sunday, having one-game lead before the final 3 games, but unfortunately for me, i only got one those 3 correct, 2 would have secured me the first place (multiple winners).

Noticed quite a few of you having good scores, would you say the e-sports edition has been tougher to predict or generally equal to the odds? I'm going to try and see if I can take part in this week's MM!

Yeah, I haven't joined any so far as well because the start time of the tourney is quite late for me, even if I join it by that time and stay awake, the ending would mean I would play basically around morning, well early morning maybe I don't know, or very late night, basically not hours that I would really like to play. Maybe we could ask steve to have tourneys 12 hours apart? That way we could have two tourneys that we can actually join, one would be perfect for everyone no matter where you live and what time zone you are in because there is 12 hour difference, if one is not alright the other one will definitely be alright.

Also, I hope that you guys make the poker a bit like a different tab instead of making it a screen inside a screen type of thing it is right now.

Hi beerlover,

yes noted on both points.
Currently under consideration and in the pipeline to find a better outcome.

regards.
Steve.

Hey Steve,

NBA is partnering with NBA2k series to host a players-only tournament for its fans.

Tourney starts this Friday, April 3rd (until April 11th) and some of the games will be aired on ESPN.

I'd absolutely love to be able to place some bets on those games, if available. Thanks!
