All the info is in your quote mate. Wink 1.1 mbtc buy-in, 1 mbtc rebuy, 12 min blind levels. Smiley No worries about being a beginner - usually beginners do very well. Cheesy
Help me a little bit to understand the terms, I mean what does it means by the term rebuy, buy-in and blind levels?
I am playing poker in facebook apps and i feel that I am improving. And it's becoming addictive too LOL

Oh sorry bud - now I got you!

Buy-in is simply the cost to enter the tournament. Rebuy means you will have a second chance in case you bust out by paying the buy-in once again.

Regarding blind levels:

In a poker game, the two players to the left of the dealer have to pay blinds (small and big) - these are mandatory bets that need to be placed even before the cards are dealt. Small blind is half of the big blinds amount and the blinds count towards the first betting round. These blinds go up gradually and in our case - 12 minutes - the blinds will go up every 12 minutes.

I am not so worried. This is now 4th or 5th tournament in recent times and "old" players already know each other. Of course there will be some new players but I am not expecting a shitload of them. This is not a free tournament. You still have to pay 1.1 mBTC to enroll which is just enough to turn away those multi account scammers. If it was a free tournament we would have a 100 brand new accounts joining for sure Smiley

Having 2 or 3 profiles at the same table can give a huge advantage, no matter the buy-in. In a tournament in which a buy-in is 2% of the potential reward it would make sense to multi-account.

However, I think Sportsbet must have strict anticheat measures in place to detect such behavior - not just for this tournament but in general so I have no fear that the game will be fair and that the potential cheaters will be caught on time.

Hey Steve , I think it won't be such a great idea to post the password here in public , as most likely we'll get some greedy members trying to take advantage and register with multiple accounts etc.

I plan to register tomorrow, once I'm certain I'll be able to be there. Hopefully we already have enough interest, this smells like a great one. After all, it comes with a 250$ prize pool!

Regarding the multi-master - I kinda wanted to play, looks like a great time to participate because I assume that interest will be low so competition will be less. It's just that I really cannot - I'm looking at these names without having a clue not just who they are but also what is it that they are playing Grin

So, I'll just stick to poker and hope we'll have more of these in this boring poeriod.

Wow guys. I had an unexpected hiatus from bct (I guess a number of you know what I'm talking about?) but also, thankfully, a quicker-than-expected return. Reduced sentencing for good behaviour? =D

Anyway!

@LFC_Bitcoin: I AM actually now a little worried for this season but judging from English FA discussions, there is every desire to complete the season no matter what. I actually wonder if this is the opportunity for Europe to join the rest of the world on normal calendar football seasons... if the postponement really takes that long, to just finish it by end of the year and start a new season in January like everyone else on the planet. That would solve forever all the other international tournaments for both club and country.... AFCON, Copa, World Cup... or am I grossly mistaken? Wink

@Steve: Do I remember correctly you're a Leyton Orient fan? They're so awesome for the stuff they organised. You coming to Sunday's poker?

Really the underdogs always win so much in esports? Or is this just probability that is more "fair" in statistics for esports?Wink

I mean, remember Liverpool only lost once in Premier League for 2 seasons, but the probability was that they should have lost maybe 1 in 10 games at least so we know maybe in esports that happens properly:)
Yes, on certain tournaments the underdogs tend to win more than usual but it also depends on a few factors like the format of the tournament if it's best of 1 or best of 3 and the schedule of their games (facing weaker to stronger teams or vice versa). Currently I think it's just the online environment that's affecting some of the teams.

Which game or tournament are you following ?

Yah. I am familiar with CSGO ones and even good teams gets defeated with some new teams. In last tournament I had a good chunk in for Astralis who was ranked 1st then and Mousesports stole it away from them.

Same is with other esports as well DOTA and LOL. At any point anything can turn. Still atleast it is good to keep up going on with gambling.

Sportsbet have generously set up a 40 mBTC GTD tournament for us, thanks for that! Smiley
For the people who are not really familiar with poker all that much but still want to do something during this down time where you can't really gamble on many things right now, the buy-in is literally just uBTC 100, so it is quite cheap.

But, let's assume you do not even want to spend that (and its really low, like "what the hell" low, so you can just give it a go regardless) you can literally play freerolls as well, I don't know how frequent they are and I don't know what you get most of the time, but its there and it would help you get better at the game as well but know that freeroll people are a lot more aggressive than actually playing for something, when people play for something you only get action when 2 people have something they believe good but on freeroll people still go all-in with 2-7.

Finally, the summer Olympics has been postponed for one year, this year is a total disappointment for the sports fans and the players who were undergoing severe training were disappointed with that and they need to be in the same fitness and mental strength for the next year too. But nothing important than human lives and safety at the end.

Guys, I found something to bet on and I'm 120% sure Sportsbet.io will not hesitate to add markets for it on their site asap: Marble Racing!!!  Shocked Shocked Cool

Do you like Formula 1? Yes? Pff! noob, that's amateur stuff, Marbula One is where the real hardcore stuff is at!! Don't know what this is? Well, here's an article from CNN where they go in-depth about marble racing..."but @toma, i don't like reading".. me neither, so why don't you watch this YT video and see for yourself just how epic marble racing really is..

What do you think, Steve? I bet the Sportsbet.io staff are already working on adding betting markets for this spectacular sport!!  Cool

FYI this is a sarcastic post (or maybe it isn't? haha)...i mean, marble racing? really?? REALLY??? LOL

But toma, I don't like reading:) OK I get the hype a little bit but I suppose if just a few people find it fun, then it's worth something to a few people.

Hard to make the odds for a bookie though I guess with a sports (game) that seems a bit difficult to understand on how to work out who wins! But anyway, as long as you enjoy;)
