What a crazy time: Bitcoin's bleeding; sports are on hold; events are being cancelled.
The NBA has suspended the season until further notice. MotoGP has cancelled all races scheduled for April, and is extending the season until late November. Now the EPL is getting antsy.
Although the effect on society has been fairly surprising, I don't think it's such a bad thing people are being so careful. My daughter and son planned a trip which required a 5-hour flight, but I'm relieved to say they postponed it. Since they're adults, I really had no say in the matter but that didn't stop me from expressing my opposition. The one time I'm glad the media is in full-on chicken little phase.
From what I've heard the rate of new cases in China has been steadily dropping, so hopefully we've seen the worst of it, and things will be getting back to normal before the end of the month.
