2) The UK Gambling Commission revokes licenses issued to sportsbooks with illegal activities like money laundering.
3) After the proof of Sportsbet's illegal activities is submitted to the UK Gambling Commission, Watford FC has to say good bye promoting it!
First and foremost they cancelled their deal on August and it was on the papers on September 1st, you just came to know about it and to paste those here is irrelevant.
Sportsbet have cancelled their deal with Watford? Can't find any info on that. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the Bitcoin
BTC logo on their sleeves during the Watford V Arsenal game. I thought I was tripping at first. Only one thing I would suggest is actually putting the word bitcoin under the
BTC logo so people have some clue what it is or at least can google it when it piques their interest, though it might be hard to find if you're completely oblivious and at the moment I think most people won't be aware of what it symbolises.
Sportsbooks usually have to do drastical stuff to get more attention, its not like selling apples and make money, they are going against a ton of competition and they are already in a legally gray area (just to give an example, everything is legal in sportsbet.io yet they still can't allow USA players, its just the law) so doing as much marketing as possible is really the only way, if you stop doing anything than you will start losing customers to places that does big marketing. Mia Khalifa could be a weird choice for a sportsbook I would agree with that but aren't we talking about it?
I totally don't know what to think of Mia K as a mark ambassador. It seems at least odd, considering her well-known past and the fact that she openly sympathizes with West Ham. Of course, the buzz is the most important thing in marketing but on the second thought, it leaves a bad taste.
Surely Mia K is not any different from Kim, maybe the biggest influential model of the planet, though I still don't think football is the right place for that kind of initiative. Let the football world for football people.
What do you guys think of this marketing action?
She seems to be a sports fan at least, but she's also pretty much just an instagram influencer now and most of them will promote anything for money and I can't really blame them. If you don't agree with it I would just ignore it but she has millions of instagram users so like it or not it's good promotion for bitcoin and that's what we need for mainstream adoption.
