WARNING: Tottenham axe partnership with 1xBet while Chelsea and Liverpool warned of hefty fines unless they ditch the Russian bookmaker.

Tottenham have ended their partnership with controversial betting firm 1xBet while Chelsea and Liverpool have been told they must cease their association.

The Gambling Commission wrote to all three clubs to say any promotion of the Russian company may be unlawful, risking unlimited fines and up to 51 weeks’ imprisonment.

1xBet are no longer licensed to operate in Britain following an investigation by The Sunday Times.

They have been blacklisted because they have been used to promote betting on children’s sports, cockfighting and a pornographic casino. The firm is also one of the biggest advertises on websites that illegally stream Premier League games.

According to The Sunday Times, Tottenham had ‘terminated’ all its 1xBet rights, Chelsea were ‘monitoring’ the situation while Liverpool provided no comment.

Harry Kane, Virgil van Dijk and Willian are among the players who have helped promoted the betting company.

Campaign for Fairer Gambling spokesman Matt Zarb-Cousin described the situation as ‘shocking’.

Zarb-Cousin said: “It is shocking that these football clubs failed to do the most basic due diligence checks on 1xBet before signing up for these multi-million-pound deals.

“It’s an absolute debacle.”

1xBet said: “We take very seriously the allegation that 1xBet’s brand has been promoted on prohibited sites, which is strictly against our policies, and we have launched an investigation. Pending the outcome . . . we believe it is responsible to temporarily suspend our advertising activity in the UK.”

Hence, as soon as the UK Gambling Commission received all the proof of Sportsbet's illegal activities, it has to revoke its Sportsbet UK license and Watford FC has to say good bye!

When they launched their site they didn't seem to have any problems with their bankroll and they're spending a lot of money on promotions I don't think they need investors or would open up in the near future.

For alternatives the best way to look for one is to check gambling sites that has dice because all bitcoin sportsbook doesn't have bankroll investments.

Agreed with what he said. Few years ago, when Sportsbet.io was just a new gambling site in the market, I already look for any profit sharing scheme that it could be offering but they don't have any of it.

You may like Watford or not but surely if they play against teams like Liverpool, Manchester teams, Chelsea or any other big name that I can't remember right now then you will want to watch it and they are selling one of those rooms for bitcoin. My claim was that you come up with made up accusations against the people you do not like. It has nothing to do with blockchain.
There are no question that blockchain evidence is not made up but people like you use the information with wrong direction to gain personal benefits.

Such as: If I pay for a service using BTC and buy web-hosting from a company that is based in USA and I am from other country then you will come up with saying that I laundered money and as evidence you are going to bring the blockchain transaction.
