I agree with most of what you say with one exception. Proof isn’t shown to the forum but solid proof is submitted if taken to arbitration such as taking it to CG.
Yes, but such proof is never shared for the general public to look at. It's given to a selected few arbitrators on such arbitration websites. It's easy to see why. If casinos explained how they caught a cheater and what the cheater did wrong, they would be giving them tips on how to improve their cheating in the future. That's why they keep public information to a minimum.

I'm not going to waste another second on this mute point.
OP got exactly what he wanted; that's what matters here.

Hey everyone,

Sine this "scam accusation" has already been resolved, it might be a good idea to stop bumping this thread.
OP has received his 2 x 10 USDT free bets (not $20 like some of you keep saying) and will more than likely not return to lock it on his own.

Steve admitted he wasn’t sure but couldn’t override the decision.
What are you even talking about?
He DID override the decision and paid out 2 x 10 USDT free bets.  Roll Eyes

I will however pay out 2 x 10 USDT free bets from my own allowance as I "probably" would have given it a second chance, but unfort, its not my promotions, so I can't over ride them on this matter.

It's only $20. It's actually less because it's free plays and $20 didn’t come out of Steve’s pocket. Almost all would have paid this without solid proof. KYC wasn't done.

New accounts get flagged for these promos. It doesn’t have to be IP or anything else. No casino wants to give a freebie to a new account that will never make another bet. If Sportsbet had solid proof, they wouldn’t have paid. Steve admitted he wasn’t sure but couldn’t override the decision.

As you said, it’s $20, no one is wasting their time looking in to this more. It can’t be proven without KYC. Other cases take months even when KYC is produced.

Casinos have different ways to detect multiple accounts. Such as IP address, devices, and some other things that you probably know. According to the casino rules, only one player can sign up from one IP/household. So, the IP address should be counted as valid proof. If Sportsbet or any other casino submits these proofs to the CG or other mediators, they would consider that proof. I somewhat disagree with your point that it is not possible to prove without KYC. Even if they are different persons, yet use the same internet connection, then Sportsbet has the right to deny their payment. Anway, we are going off-topic here. Since the issue already solved, the thread should be locked.

Steve said they "believe" there is a multi-accounting issue and that he's not personally accususing the player of multi-accounting. It came from above. It's $20, all casinos pay without solid proof. They aren't going to waste a lot of time for $20. New accounts are always flagged.

All you have to do is change computers, change IP address and use a different wallet. There's no betting history. How does Sportsbet know? KYC wasn't done on both claimed accounts. KYC is the only way they know conclusively. It costs more in man power to prove multi-accounting.

I feel like, they just don't want to spend a lot of time for this $20. You never know if those guys were using the same Wifi which flagged those multiple accounts. According to the OP, at least five of his friends opted in for this promo. So, it is possible that they were using the same Wifi which may flagged as multiple accounts. But the scam accusations were made on this forum just for the $20. Probably Steve thought just give them a pass instead of wasting hours explaining this here. No, I don't think all casinos pay without solid proof. They never say what is the reason for confiscating the funds. They just say that they cannot disclose it due to security reasons.

Even though odds are that the OP multi-accounted, Sportsbet probably didn’t have solid proof so they paid out a whopping $20.

Well, on his original and complete post, Steve actually explained the why "they" paid the OP, which... IMO, is indeed a very good gesture as not many casinos [at least none that I can recall from the top of my head] will go with this path.

Our team has reason to believe that there is a multi accounting issue here with one other "account name"......

....Your 2 free bets should be in your account now....

Hell No Steve!

The team believes the player is guilty of multi-accounting, yet you ended up giving him two free bets. I don't think anyone ever expects something from casinos when they know that they are guilty of doing something. We have seen players abusing the bonuses on various casinos before, which ended up freezing the account and confiscating the funds. However, you are here with a nice gesture! I guess you are giving him a pass as a new year gift. I feel like they should have banned from the casinos. Because they may try to abuse more promotions and show up with another scam accusation thread.

...
"Accountdon" only deposited once and played this one bet.
As you said yourself, it wouldn't be the first time players tried to abuse bonuses, hoping to get some free money. Perhaps that's also the case here, but it might also be a coincidence. So, this is a brand-new account, created to partake in this promotion. A valid question would be, how did the OP know about this promotion? Did he discover it by accident? Was he browsing Sportsbet as a guest? Was he already a player of the casino with a different account?

The mentioning of "friends" is also something we have seen before. I don't have multiple accounts, my friend/brother/uncle/father plays on Sportsbet and they visited my house and accessed their account on my computer. I am not saying that's what happened here, but we have seen it before.

A very nice gesture from Steve to get this resolved on a good note. Promotions like this always attract people that want to take advantage of it, that's just how it is sometimes! Not saying OP is guilty or not of course. When the system flags someone there is often a solid reason for that. Might just be an accident of using the same IP, device or whatever, just as Pmalek said. That doesn't necessarily mean there is/was some ill intent.
Hopefully OP is happy with this sign of good faith, there is nothing to complain about I would say.

Make winning bets on sports with sportsbet.io!

Hi Guys,

I contacted the relevant internal sportsbet.io teams concerned with this promotion and also the additional promotions tab removal scenario.

Our team has reason to believe that there is a multi accounting issue here with one other "account name"..

This was the reason behind not paying out the free bet and then the removal of the ability to access promotions moving forward.

"Accountdon" only deposited once and played this one bet. This unfortunately does drag attention to certain accounts cause as we know, there are professional promotion hunters out there in the industry. (Im not at all accusing this account of that, but they do exist)

For that reason, I personally think its a bit too firm on our side to come down pretty hard from ball 1. However, I am unable to change their decision on this matter.

I will however pay out 2 x 10 USDT free bets from my own allowance as I "probably" would have given it a second chance, but unfort, its not my promotions, so I can't over ride them on this matter.

To get back promotional access, I would personaly recommend playing a bit more and then I can go back to the teams and say "hey guys.. how about we re-instate promotions for this account?"  It would make it easier for me to do that with a touch more play.

Also, I'd recommend getting involved in the Bitcointalk/Sportsbet promotions that JeremyPWR + the wider sportsbet.io fans run.. we do have more control over those promos here on the forum.

Your 2 free bets should be in your account now.

regards,

Steve.

Hey Accountdon,

Since Live chat already said you are not eligible for free rewards and promotions, this is an uphill mountain to climb.
I'm sending you a PM right now.

Why are you so fast? LMAO!!

I was about to ask OP one last preliminary question before reaching you or Steve, with a more complete understanding of the situation. And you're already here.

Well, OP. I guess I can just forget what I wanted to ask, given one of the rep of SB is there. I believe they don't have any intention to scam their player with fake promo, that it's all just a simple situation that can be straigthened out. You're in a good hand... if your whole narrative is indeed innocent.

I believe this is the promo that you're referring to?

Now, I'd like you to pay a very good attention to their clause number 10, 11, and 12. Forget your online friends for a while and focus on your situation, you did not happen to wager with bonus money, cashed out your bet, and/or the bet you placed got voided or cancelled by any chance?

Hi, nothing of that.

I deposited new money from binance and right after deposit I placed my bet for this promo and it was a winner $20 to $38

And yes I opted in way before placing the bet and even before deposit.

And now I don't have the promotional page, it's gone from my side menu even if I enter manual on the browser it won't load up just redirects to main page.
