it might be a close one with both team to score and having more than 10 corners
-snip

Prediction : ~17.

Its far from the number you predicted this time but this match breaks the record for the lowest points so far ! Correct on the Both team to score but lame corners point this time

Full time result :

Goals : 2
Cards : 2
Corners : 2

Total points : 6 . Only 2 corners for the full 90 minutes, pretty lame huh. Well atleast we might be getting some actions for the next few days because there will be world cup qualification matches

Nice! A big game of big ego's tonight with both teams looking in great shape so it might be a close one with both team to score and having more than 10 corners because both teams are having tall players so it's a fact that they will play on extremes, trying to get corners.

Even if it's only a friendly game, I still expect a game of all or nothing from either of side.

Prediction : ~17.

8 yellows so definitely the second half brings more points in most games here:) I did not bet on this game as I was offline already when it happened so I am glad not to miss yet another Blackjack hit,,, I also hope EURO brings us more luck with this and of course,,, hope I am able to play it more but since it is internationals, most likely I will stay up to watch and be online to bet.

Are we on track for the lowest points ever in a game...?

Not this time ! Dang, It was a boring game and I cant wait to have any of the Euro game for the BJ special bet

Full time result :

Goals : 0
Cards : 8
Corners : 6

Total Points : 14 . It seems there are 9 cards instead of 8 but one of the players wasnt in the field I guess. Flashscore.com doesnt show any information about it but anyway it is still a push though even if he was on the field

Duly took the bet, but it was only a card and a corner by the 25th minute, so things were heading for a push at that rate, when I stopped following =)

Checking back at half time and they managed to more than double the points tally to 5 (3 corners + 2 cards). Are we on track for the lowest points ever in a game...? I'll check back tomorrow hoping for a surprise. Cornervaganza!

Was a 2-1 Nantes victory in the first leg, to be fair, a lot less was expected from them as over 2.5 was almost 3/1 as I recall, but home advantage this time. Nantes will want to win this to ensure they return to Ligue 1 but Toulose might get the Brentford motivation to spring a surprise of their own. 2 goals, 10 corners, and let's hope for plenty of cards?Wink

Put in a 0:1 handicap bet on Nantes too, boosted to 45/10;)

Nantes vs. Touluse

Have no idea what to expect from this one, probably a lot of cards, little goals and a couple of corners.

Tonight's game:   Italy v San Marino

Avoided this yesterday because this scream busts so bad. Glad that it was a push

Champs League final is today's Soccer Blackjack!

Manchester City vs Chelsea

Full time result :

Goals : 1
Cards : 3
Corners : 4

Total points : 8 and its a push. Lost quite a bit of the side bets there with Manchester City to win and halftime 0-0 but overall it was a good CL Final. I wasnt expecting Chelsea to win but that assist from Mount was incredible, gotta give credit to that pass.

Btw, once upon a time I studied at a huge international university within the walls of which there were 5 or 6 football teams (each team represented their faculty). And as freshmen, we joined the ranks of one of the football teams, which ultimately won the championship (having met in the final with a very strong team of players who were from South America and Africa). We had a significant age difference, we had only one professional footballer [Dynamo Kiev 2nd squad] and the goalkeeper was a volleyball player ... but nevertheless, we won.

That's just the beauty of football isn't it? That on any day, any team can win. My national team's glory days when we didn't even have pro football, was beating USA 3-0 in the Olympics... almost 50 years ago. Today we're pretty much the crappiest of the crap, 150+ ranked on FIFA.

Age difference is definitely key though in games I've played in. Sometimes The closest story I have of that is 5v5 futsal. In addition to regular football, also used to play street 5v5 a lot with the same guys, every day almost for years. In that team we only had 1 proper player who was really good technically. Always play tourneys as they're quite cheap to enter, and you are guaranteed 2/3 games at group stage so you end up paying to play anyway haha. BUT there was this once we actually got past group stage, and even a few KO rounds against sponsored teams who play for a living, we got actually booed a lot as we were years older and slower and let's say just rougher but our ref kept saying play on, nothing wrong.

So, yeah, illusions of footballing grandeur in some micronation shattered [...] But then reality was we were all crap players and couldn't even represent our cities, let alone small countries HAHA.
It depends on what country you live in, because it seems to me that the football mentality plays a significant role .. if you were, say, a student, a native of a country where there is a cult of football, and received citizenship, got into the national team, then the difference in the score would not differ significantly from the results of yesterday's match (chances are pretty decent considering that there are only 850 students in San-Marino).

Me too happy with push. Corners were racking up... although by 62 min, we were at 12 points and looking quite good...

re: san marino

Discussed this idea many, many times even since 2000s with my mates. Singapore near me used to offer citizenship to boost their Olympics teams and Southeast Asian games... Brunei also did so in football. Both countries participate also in regional events and sometimes in national events of other neighbours... kind of like how Wales have some teams in England, just because they're too small to have their own league.

So in our events you'd see all local people and then Singaporeans and Bruneians who had... Japanese, African, European, American names and of course, the longer legs, taller physiques etc haha. But the locals didn't mind, made them feel extra motivated.

Back on point, we actually thought hey let's all go Malta and San Marino etc.

But then reality was we were all crap players and couldn't even represent our cities, let alone small countries HAHA. I actually did play in the league system in my country, but I was a shitty reserve player, and the "highest" I ever played in at a competitive was the quarterfinals of a City cup, at the lowest league tier. We did the odds calculation and that put us, at best, at the bottom 1 or 2 percentile of the pile of roughly 15,000 local players who MIGHT ever play at AFC Champions League.

So, yeah, illusions of footballing grandeur in some micronation shattered.

Total points : It’s a push with 18.
I am happy with this push since it looked like a bust on half time. There was only 2 goals but 10 corners and I expected San Marino to cave in as the game is coming to its end. That is when all those hours of training pay off and amateur teams find it very hard to keep up. Good thing corners stopped in second half.

Well , I think it's time to move to San Marino and become a football player as I think I may have bigger chances than that electric guy Grin. This game is just a soft warm up for the biggest game of the year so far that will be tomorrow. Yep , you all guessed it , UCL FINAL IS FINALLY HERE! Who I cheer for ? Both of them and I do hope to see penalties or at least extra time just like the Europa League final.

I have certainly not checked the accuracy of this information, but ... The San Marino national team consists of two accountants, two students, a bar owner, a bank clerk, a bartender, a furniture company employee and an electrical employee. This is really cool ... in the sense that after obtaining citizenship, you can try your luck and be in the national team (after which you play with the best football players in the world for your own pleasure).

But aren't the players kinda tired after this 2 in 1.5 seasons ? Because it started way more sooner and it ended way more faster in most of the top countries. I won't count on a lot of goals to be honest but I can count on solid teams like England , Italy and France to get victories, as in my opinion, 2 of this 3 teams are gonna be in the final and if I have to chose a team would be England because let's be honest, their squad right now is hot with really talented players who could score just by having 1 chance ( Kane , Foden , Sancho).  I won't count France out yet from winning the final but France squad really had a tough championship and even the players from abroad played a lot ( Pogba , Benzema , Kante ), so I think some players won't perform at their highest level.

Full time result :

Goals : 3
Cards : 3
Corners : 4

Total points : 10 and its another push. Its kinda dull with most of the top league ended and Euro is still days away. BJ special bet on 29th would be great though, we could be getting higher chance for either BJ or bust on the CL Final

Yep! Hopefully one of them ends up hitting  Smiley

I think the special bets of any groups to have 21 goals or more is going to hit though. That one seems plausible to happen
