I just managed to get 2.5 points so far,1.5 points from Crystal Palace game and the one point everyone got from the Chelsea game which was a tennis result more than a soccer one.I am also getting one point from Manchester City so far going to 3.5 but still this is another really bad week for me up until now. There are another three games to be played but I doubt they will make much difference.I am already looking forward to the next week.

So, we all knew Norwich are poor
this team...they dominate the Championship, get promoted, then completely shits the bed in the top flight...wasted spot already ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ gonna get relagated same way as 19-20 season

anyway, wth is going with Leeds united? they looked solid last season, showing exciting football and ultimately finishing in the top half of the league table...but this season they look like crap. Oh, and hell of a game at Goodison park, from 2-1 everton to a 4-2 comeback from Watford in just 10 minutes...Only 2 users in our pool predicted a Hornets win  Roll Eyes Big upset

So, we all knew Norwich are poor, but pity the guy who'd have put in 6-0 and still not get an exact score on this. Everybody wins with Chelsea on 1 single point, but really Norwich, do you have to go and gift 7 goals to Chelski? That's them cementing top spot with 20 GD. Not that I'm unhappy Mount got his hattrick -- who last bagged 3 goals against Bolton in 2019, when he was loaned out to Derby.

Havertz, Werner, Pulisic, etc: look away.

chelsea destroys promoted and bottom of the table norwich 7-0 Shocked
all participants picks on chelsea but none of us could get 1.5 or even 3.0 points Grin

I stand with Ukraine.
Being on the 44th place right now, I agree with any breakdown because my chances of finishing ITM are slim anyway.

On the bright side, I already more than doubled(on Sportsbet.io) what I paid for the participation. So, I have no regrets whatsoever.  Grin

I’m having a tough time in the pool, really doing badly tbh but it’s fun & I enjoy playing, plus we have the weekly prize for finishing in 1st place so there is that. I’m in 43rd place dude so 1 spot above you  Undecided

Just going to do my predictions now, hopefully I do better this weekend.

We both picked 2:1 for Arsenal vs Aston Villa, and we were "close". I feel like this time I can perform better than in the Round 8, bc in that round I got them all wrong except for this one

I was even "awarded" with wooden spoon

for the worst performance in the pool.

Good luck to us, and to everyone below 40th place, today and tomorrow! I mean, from this point we can only go up, right guys? Smiley

Not a bad game at all, and very pleased to start the week off with an exact score. Definitely toyed with the prediction longer than I should have but I was sure the previous game would motivate them to play more -- though it helped a lot that Villa forgot to show up for a while.

Saka was woeful. One of my favourite youngsters but tonight was painful to watch. Defence and midfield were better than against Palace but have to say Sambi still looks jittery all around, lost possession a couple of times and had Ramsdale to thank. Tomiyasu played much, much better, every clearance was cheered, and he was much more positive with taking ball out from defence.

Turning point was Mings turning the ball into his own net though.
Saka was injured in the previous game and he did not train for the whole week. He played this game without a single training session. He was just cleared to participate on the day of the match. At least that is the info I managed to collect and I was searching since I have him in my fantasy team. The fact that he played 90 minutes yesterday just shows how important he is for this Arsenal squad, I would bet my house that he gets 60 mins max and more probably just 20-25 at the end of the match. It is understandable that he was somewhat off his best performances. If I was Pepe I would be leaving Arsenal promptly, he did not get even a minute yesterday and Arsenal youngsters will only get better with time.

Mings is so overrated. He is in the circle of Englend national team and I have never seen him play a good game. Every time I see him play he gets yellow carded and usually dances on the verge of red. He dishes out a couple of elbows every game and basically just uses his strong build to push players away.

Although I lost my prediction I am very happy for Arsenal that they are coming up the table. They are one of the good teams of the Premier League and if they are waking up like Manchester United is doing it means the Premier League will become even more beautiful than normally is.Time to put today predictions.

I have Arsenal both to win and also in the pool, I really don't why but then Aston Villa seemed to have dropped form a lot.

EDIT: with Arsenal been 2 goals up, there's no way back Aston Villa now, is there ? Funny enough Arsenal should have been up by even more goals if not for Saka being wasteful.
Aston Villa is really bad tonight, they never really properly entered the match. They started playing a little better at the beginning of second half but than Smith Rowe scored a 3rd goal for Arsenal and put the game far out of their reach.

That chance for Saka was a real sitter, have no idea how he managed to miss that. He will be scoring those chances with his eyes close in a couple of years with bit more of experience on his back Smiley

He missed one even before that sitter when Aubameyang tried a overhead kick and missed, I guess when you play in a team like Arsenal you can afford to keep making such errors, when you're almost certain that your place isn't at a threat.

Arsenal are improving under Arteta, they have some good young players. With good coaching & a bit of luck recruiting the right players over the next 1-2 years they could start competing at the top again.

I couldn't agree more, they are more like Chelsea right now before Tuchel took over, I believe if Arsenal are able to get a really good coach right now, he'll be able to impact a style or philosophy easily than it would have been when most of the players are already top stars with their own specific characteristics.

Arsenal are waking up now and with another win are climbing up,i had 2-1 correct score on this match but it was 3-1.So a close result for me and 1.5 points, this week looks really hard and only the best will get the most points,i think this week is really crucial for everyone for their position

I have gone for the draw in the Arsenal game as Aston Villa is also in great shape in these few games that are already played.By the way for the prize breakdown for me is irrelevant whatever is chosen I agree with what most people want.By the way I see no one is careful enough so I am also bringing this up in the front because tomorrow there are a lot of games for this week,so do not forget to post your predictions in the Superbru website or Superbru app.

A draw ?Sad and I have Arsenal first half ...well let's hope Arsenal will take 1st half and it will draw in 2nd as in this way both of us can be happy haha.  Oh, Arsenal just scored as I'm typing this message so I guess we're in for a draw in second half ? Personally, I think Arsenal will score again and Villa will score as well.

It's a tricky game to predict. Arsenal should win but nobody trusts them right now. Villa have two losses on the bounce after two impressive wins against Everton and Man U.

I wouldn't go with Arsenal, except against Spurs (and even that was a north London derby) they've only really shown that the best they can do is draw.

+ maybe 0.01 for the highest overall yellow cap. Or if anyone has any other price breakdowns I'm open to suggestions. I'll probably go with the top 10 though unless most seemingly want the other.
I would drop the prize for highest yellow cap. We already have that 50$ prize for every yellow cap so the highest yellow cap already got something. We always have 1 or 2 double game weeks in PL so you are basically giving extra prize to that person that gets luckiest during double game week.

I would only count the regular ten match rounds and all other larger ones would be disqualified. We could do something else as a prize but I can't think of anything. I kinda would prefer a prize where anyone can win it right down to the last round so everyone still has something to play for even if you're way down at the bottom.

not sure, but would probably go for ten places on a reward board
it is good to have big prize for the winner, but I am more inclined to have more people rewarded

of course, it could be a bias, since I am on position 15, so top10 is reachable, top5 not that easy, but even if upper/lower on the table, would probably be more inclined to have more people rewarded, this should primary be fun, not for earning money

Maybe you will change your mind if you end up in first place by the end?  Grin. I probably will go with the top ten though. I would like to have a huge jackpot of 0.1 but that means the other places suffer and it's always close at the top.

Don't forget we resume EPL tonight! Arsenal get you guys worried or you think they should have no problem banging in a few goals tonight? Hard to see them not win after that morale-boosting last-gasp-Lacazette equaliser huh?

Anyway, my vote is also for Top 10, although only just because it feels nicer to have more winners. 0.1 BTC at today's price is over $6000 though, and that's one hell of an advertisement for this pool.

Congrats on being first and with a certain lead in points.

I'll enjoy it for as long as it lasts. And I know better than most it doesn't last unless you're last season's bastard who never lets go!

Honestly I personally prefer option B because more participants will get prizes, considering we currently have 48 participants too which seems like it would be good to see the top 10 get a chance for prizes. But by the way I apologize in advance, from the total entry fee of BTC0.002 x 48 participants and BTC0.1 from sponsorship with a total of BTC0.196, CMIIW. With that total, I think having a lot of participants to receive prizes is something interesting, because that way participants will be more enthusiastic at least for the top 10 and also side prizes.
