Anyone else not liking the look of these line ups this round? Most of them are very hard to split for me and many look like potential draws. Newcastle/Leeds, Palace/West Ham, Southampton/Arsenal, Burnley/Villa, Brighton/Fulham, Everton/Leicester, Spurs/Liverpool. There's lot of games where the slightly stronger team is playing away and I'd probably back them if they were at home but not away. I really can't pick a winner out of any of those games. Everton might be in with a chance as I don't think Vardy is playing. Liverpool looked decent against Man U even though they lost, but Spurs aren't doing to bad recently and Liverpool are still likely shaky. Leeds and Newcastle are both playing shit. Might have backed a narrow Leeds win if they were playing at home but not away. West Ham are on a three win run but don't trust them to beat Palace away. Draws are looking the best best but we'll likely only get a couple. Nightmare round for me.
I missed out good rounds where there were draws (and bookie odds should have clued me in on those) so yeah, this one does look like it could throw up a few stalemates, even Liverpool is probably the smart one to pick for a draw.
But I'm sensing if there are wins, the home side for sure: Palace, Saints, and Brighton at least should be good value (3/1).
I'm going to end up picking tight wins for most, and a couple of big ones. Only way to get back on track is to gamble for yellow cap =D
