Sinner already got the first step towards winning the title, now I'm tunning in to Brazil vs Ecuador match, probably not a game I'd have watched if not for BSFL >>> LMS, I'd continued watching Taylor Fritz vs Tiafoe tennis match to know who and what expect from Sinner's opponent for the finals, or maybe Brazil can get me an early if they can secure a convince lead early enough into the match.

Damn man, I still remember when you trashed me with result like 8:1 or something like that couple of seasons ago and then you give cryptofrka a free pass.
It was a great victory that is hard to repeat.  Smiley

What a round for me Grin

I'm lucky that Strongkored didn't submit, I'm currently 0/5 because I can't win the South America qualifiers question as well.
Changed some of my picks late, all that I did change were really bad decisions. Well, what can you do - sometimes you change them and it turns out well, and sometimes it makes you rebuy for LMS.

Only a miracle can save me there, with 5 questions remaining and 2 of them being H2H my chances of a rebuy are like 120%.
You are really very lucky
I looked at the spreadsheet and it looks like you're not the only one who hasn't gotten any points this round, it seems like it's been a bad week for many participants, only mitchr managed to get 3 correct answers and there's a good chance of more because there are still a few more questions, he has a chance to move up in the LMS ranking.

So far in the LMS there hasn't been much change in the points gap, I'd be very lucky if by the end of round 6, the points gap still small.

Red massacre continues for me in BSFL this week, and I am missing shots left and right  Sad
It is crazy to see France losing at home from Italy, and this ruined some of my bets on Sportsbet.
I have to say again that I cant stand Nations League and everything about it.

Hey guys we are starting with the cup this week.
Finally, and we have great rewards again.
I have to take a break and recover from bloodbath of this week.

The goal Italy conceded against Albania was less than 25 second as far as I remember, I don't understand why they always tend to concede absurdly early goals.

Well Italy won in the end and Mbappe didnt score si that leave me with an advantage on question #6. Now I need Gakpo or Musiala to score

Great, another advantage for me. I totally got not clue about this race though, I guess my risky bet turns out good for me. Normally I'll go for the player that is stated on this type of question

Yeah, my choice was already out the window immediately Italy restored parity, but I'm quite glad that Mbappe couldn't fine the back of the net though, and I feel super awful for changing my De Bruyne pick, I had him in place of Gakpo initially, those 2 goals probably would have won the round for me.

For me answering the cycling question, after my research I checked the sportsbook to look at the odds and Primoz was at 1.34 so it was an instant call me for me (I shouldn't be giving out this strategy publicly  Undecided)

So yeah Primoz hasn't won it yet, but he has almost 2 mins lead, tomorrow's stage suits him, and the final stage is essentially like an F1 sprint, just a short, flat 22km race. If by the last stage the leader has even 30 seconds lead, he's unassailable. Need him to win, I think I'll only end up with 3 points in LMS but I need him to do it for me.

It really is going to be another bloody week in the LMS, I'm currently stuck on one point right now, with all hopes on Jannik Sinner winning the US Open and Primoz see through with his victory in Spain, if not, my time in LMS might have come to an end.

Hey guys we are starting with the cup this week.

61 teams in the BSFL so we will have a single round knockout draw with 64 teams. As it stands that means first 3 teams from Div 1 will be free in Round 1.

If someone wants to try BSFL and sign up for season 6, time is now. If we get a sign up before 2PM GMT Sunday, they will be included in our cup. First come first served basis, if we get more than 3, only first 3 will be in for the cup. Rest will have to wait for Season 6.

First sign up we get will play 3rd placed team, second will play second placed team and third will play against the leader of Div 1. Draw will be without any seeds or weighted ranking with exception to the already mentioned first 3 places. Those first 3 players still can end up anywhere in the draw they will just have set opponents to Free1, Free2, Free3. This way we can prepare the draw and leave the window for new sign ups open as long as possible.

The rewards for the Cup will be:
1. - 7,5 mBTC
2. - 5 mBTC
3. - 2,5 mBTC
4. - 2 mBTC
5-8. - 50$ freebet

I hope this ends up as what I expected it to be. This would be sucks if I couldnt win this round again after having early advantage. I had +2 points advantage on my last round, ended up losing on that one damn

Fk you France haha. At least I have a consolation on an Italy bet. Would have preferred the BSFL/LMS point, though, for some reason that doesn't make sense to me right now.

yesterday when i see the Argentina game i dont remember about the question and i was pushing to score more goals without knowing that make me lost the point in BSFL hahaha.

You would be the last person in the world I know right now who wouldn't have chosen to cover the 3.5 goal handicap... did you misread the question maybe?

So in Layman's term, is Primoz winning this race? or is it the other way around?

Im actually impressed that most of you guys totally have knowledge on this race. As for myself, It was a complete random guess for me to pick Primoz. Idk but his name totally screams winner compared to the other guy

I didn't know anything. It's all info anyone can find haha. But the commentary I found was quite informative, and just following cyclingnews.com is pretty cool too, a lot of info presented in a small page of updates that I found quite logical to read. The summary: Roglic is the most consistent, and best performer at uphill routes, like today and Wednesday where he slashed leads. His RB team also helps, they got everything they targeted today, including bonus points (which reduce seconds off their time).

Main Vuelta site has really nice intro to the stage too, tomorrow's completely mountain, slow ascent and then super fast descents, no flats (https://www.lavuelta.es/en/stage-20).

So yeah Primoz hasn't won it yet, but he has almost 2 mins lead, tomorrow's stage suits him, and the final stage is essentially like an F1 sprint, just a short, flat 22km race. This round has been going on really competitive between me and my opponent leea-1334 so far. Actually both of our performances are terrible.  Tongue

Seems like you and I are shit. 1 point with half the questions gone. I'm rebuying no matter what, but there will be a point it won't make sense if I just keep playing like shit.

Actually both of our performances are terrible.  Tongue  But I'm still thankful for answering the 2nd question as yes. It still keeps me 1-0 ahead. But I hope Sabalenka doesn't win against Pegula in the finale. Otherwise it is going to be 1-1. In that situation I'm going to hope for my top scorers to step forward on the 6th question or Ben O’Connor to win the Vuelta a Espana.

I now need France to take the lead and win to give me one point and Mbappe to get on the score sheet to get me going in the H2H question

Yeah I need France to win as well and close this one up. If this ends with France to win then Im going to get my 1st win of the season, pretty exciting. Anyway that early goal kinda reminds me when Italy was playing against Albania. It was on minutes 1-2 as well iirc

Yeah, that steep finish, 1km up!

Yeah, he completely burned the final climb and his team all helped. Won the stage bonus for 10 extra seconds too, now leaving O'Connor almost 2 minutes behind him. I think Mas will end up in 2nd place Still 2 stages to go, but it's now his to lose.

It is safe to say their EURO form has not improved at all
Was not safe to say at all. Italy have been the better side since going down and totally deserve to be level and maybe should be ahead already.

I have a really personal bias towards Havertz, and I like my chances with him still since I’m expecting to still lead the line for Germany, but Fulkrug will be his biggest threat since he’ll not be getting 90 minutes of play, I hope he’d make the 65-70 minutes of action count for something significant.
Havertz has greatly improved and frankly, I had a hard time not having to pick him in the polls I participate in. For Fulkrug, let’s hope he brings in some Dortmund performance.

No Lukaku for Belgium today, I'm glad my opponent also has him but Mbappe vs Havertz is going to be the decider for me and it's not going to be an easy one at that, except of course Mbappe fires blank against Italy today, the match is already underway. with Barcola putting the French side ahead in the very first minute into the match, it's going to be a long night.

Well that was quick from France and terrible from Italy, It is safe to say their EURO form has not improved at all and that of France looks to have improved.

Fine finish from Barcola in 13 seconds, for a team that was know for years for their defensive strength, Italy has shown to be very poor in that department lately.

@Slissy this is truly a matter of sink or swim now Tongue You need both Italy and France to score over, France to win (hence over 2.5 goals) and Mbappe to score. That would give you the draw for the round. I used a BetBuilder on this one to place a little hedge. Now it is certainly not impossible. Best case scenario for you: Donnaruma has to leave his goal early because of a bad back pass, Mbappe is one step quicker, Donnaruma fouls him and gets red carded and Mbappe scores the free kick after 7 minutes. Sounds like a decent plan for you, doesn't it? Cheesy

But let's see how the game will go. An early Mbappe goal would certainly be painful for me although I can't really tell how dangerous Italy is at the moment when it comes to scoring goals. I feel like the fact that both have to score could become an issue for you. Good luck!

Just checking in on execijutiere, didn’t see you go H2H with me, didn’t need the pass you so graciously delivered but you handed it to me anyway. With the much reds I’ve got on the sheets this week, it’s definitely something I could do with.
My performance didn’t improve sadly!

And even more importantly, Primož is much better when you have hills and we have those parts of race mostly til the end.

Had no idea about this until today, but guy at work was telling me about it this morning  Grin I knew he is into it and asked him about my chances. I believe he also told me that O'Connor had a 1:45 advantage, now it is only 5 seconds.

I suppose the Odds from the bookmakers makes much sense now, since it’s now at 100 Odds 😂

You just summed up my situation too.  Grin

0/5 and 2 points down (with a bit more luck, it could have been 1-1 by now, fu Scotland). So, my only chance for a draw is if Havertz scores tonight, Sabalenka wins the tournament, and Brazil doesn't lose. Struggle continues.

Actually keen on Sabalenka, especially now that it's not Iga I thought she had to beat. Brazil desperately need a win and should get it. Havertz though..? Surprise me if he did.

Whatever the outcome, I hope we both keep performing our best. Good luck with the last three questions let’s see who comes out on top
The same goes for you and your team.  Wink

We'll see if my luck will be here to help me or it'll bury me for good in the second half, i've only recovered from this large deficit once and we drew at the end.

I'll start to believe if Openda gets one today since he's probably my best chance of securing the point for question six.

Yeah, Brazil probably won't lose and I went with Havertz because for some reason I thought Germany might thrash Hungary tomorrow, so he might score. We'll see, but now that I think about it again, a draw isn't so implausible
