0/5 and 2 points down (with a bit more luck, it could have been 1-1 by now, fu Scotland). So, my only chance for a draw is if Havertz scores tonight, Sabalenka wins the tournament, and Brazil doesn't lose. Struggle continues.

And even more importantly, Primož is much better when you have hills and we have those parts of race mostly til the end.

Had no idea about this until today, but guy at work was telling me about it this morning  I knew he is into it and asked him about my chances. I believe he also told me that O'Connor had a 1:45 advantage, now it is only 5 seconds.

I am also having terrible week with no right answer most chances I am going out of LMS but good thing I am having free week so no problem in this event.
Already 6 replies are settled for incorrect and four remaining, but all will be not correct because things are going out of the way waiting for the Sinner and O' Connor to do magic.

Hahaha I knew you would respond to this, don't worry, you know I always use reverse psychology so you can win under pressure. Call it tough love haha! Every season when chi20 appears on the betting markets, my money has always been on you, I mentioned before in the past you've been the one guy I keep my eye on since the beginning -- I even check your picks to get an idea of how you play (nope, haven't figured it out quite yet).

I also need Brazil to win (I need 2 more precious points for LMS survival or it's rebuy time) but I think you'll manage to pull over the line even if you lose this -- remember, win too easily and you'll fall at the end. Better to drop points now and get stronger for the final laps


I've been wanting to do this as well but the markets have been unavailable at Sportsbet since the weekend. Roglic will win it, or even Mas in second I think. I followed the last two stages and these two are just patiently and calculatingly keeping stride with Connor at the head of the peloton -- that's how you keep pressure on and conserve energy, let Connor burn and you leave it to the end.

Stage 17 had some crazy ascent near the end, and they cut Connor's lead by a whole minute -- today has a similar, maybe even crazier upward climb. I think the Aussie will lose his red jersey and general ranking here.

Yeah, we'll be having 2 question difference left after Brazil, I really knew that this will be a round with really fine margins.

I don't know why Primož Roglič is still an heavy favorite for the cycling question, he's currently valued at less than 1.20 odds on a local sportsbook while Ben O' Connor is valued 34+ Odds, I just have to put a punt on that incase O' Connor wins, I'd have gotten some profits, and still have hope that one of the other 2 questions will be in my favor. It is going to be interesting to see how the goal scorers H2H will play out.

Same here. I was actually up on work shift so my mate was telling me the draw was 100% happening. That would be me cruising to 3 points vs 1 point for buwa, and moving up LMS to 19 points, to chase leader by 3 points.

But no, Poland win, now I'm only an inch from buwa, and still4 points away from LMS, which by the way jayce has become a new leader.

I think at least I will be safe this round, Brazil should be no issue winning, and secure my survival point for next round.

I'm not sure if this is a joke, but that doesn't make any sense. LMS is a competition where you compete against all other teams every week. If your opponent does not submit on time and gives you a walkover, that has nothing to do with LMS. You still get a point for each correct answer.

You got lucky with the free points this time, but it won’t be the same in LMS . I think we might also get 3 points on LMS if we win by walkover against our opponent.

What a round for me

I'm lucky that Strongkored didn't submit, I'm currently 0/5 because I can't win the South America qualifiers question as well.
Changed some of my picks late, all that I did change were really bad decisions. Well, what can you do - sometimes you change them and it turns out well, and sometimes it makes you rebuy for LMS.

Only a miracle can save me there, with 5 questions remaining and 2 of them being H2H my chances of a rebuy are like 120%.

Got hurt by that Poland's last second penalty as well. Would have been really important point for me. Now I am 2:0 behind jayce but I still like my chances. I should get bot H2H points and South America question for turn around. Not settled yet but odds on those should be heavy in my favor at the moment.

Exactly portugal won, and Ronaldo also scored a goal, some including me also bet on ronaldo scoring a goal, this round has started very well for me this time, unfortunately I am no longer in LMS, but after my lose last week, I could do with a win. Unfortunately, since I bet on Yamal, Spain only played a draw with no goals.

Damn that Poland win. I could have gotten two points if the game ended with a draw, but no. I'm still happy with my chances for a win this week. I'm up 1-0 over Ulven, Pegula won her game to advance to the final so now I just need Sabalenka not to win the tournament. It was really stupid of me to put Swiatek as the winner. I know it could have been a good tactic, but if Sabalenka wins, I will lose that point. Also, I need Sinner to win the semi final game at least and preferably to win the tournament.

My win streak might be coming to an end, we're three points behind mitchr4's team and they'll only need one more correct prediction in the h2h to claim the win.

We still have a way out, but the team will need a perfect recovery starting from question#6 since we still have three questions that can change the tide of the round.

Poland cost my second point for the LMS this week with the late goal, but Argentina have somewhat soften the blow by putting 3 goals past Chile, now all Brazil need to do is win by any margin they so like against Ecuador to get me that extra point, while I hope to get the final one from the remaining available questions.

How Fortuna turned her back on me today in just few minutes 
Scotland had 2:2 draw with Poland and than in stoppage time a stupid foul and penalty for Poland.
Denmark had nice 1:0 result and than goal for 2:0 in stoppage time, damn you Nations League 
Zero points for me in this round and only miracle can save me in next few days.

So, Croatia lost to Portugal but they played pretty good. It was actually an interesting game. At least for me. Also, Serbia managed to keep 0-0 against Spain which gives me another point. Good times...

On one hand I want Serbia to hold on for a draw so I can get my first point with question 2 as Portugal are still in the lead. But I also have a betslip and need Spain to win. Best case scenario for me is a Spain victory and an equalizer from Croatia to still give me my first point. It is way to early to go 2 points down.

If I am to pick one, I will much rather get the point.

I’m thinking Pegula here I’ve actually watched a number of times and she was incredible against Swiatek in the last round, but I might have the same bias as you do towards Muchova because I’ll only watched about just one game and half of her so far.

On Swiatek’s brackets she looks like going to have walk in the park to the finals, while others that I could consider a formidable opponents against Sabalenka were all already eliminated, so I just went with what I felt could play out especially because the LMS, I expected that to be the popular opinion and would have shot myself in the leg to lose a LMS point to almost every other player like that.
