I just checked the score between me and leea-1334 and believe it or nit, I still have a chance to win the round even though I'm trailing 2-0 (or 3-1 if we count a draw in the NBA question). There are three question left and we have all of them different. I just need all questions to go my way. I think that the tennis question is already mine because I have Ruud and Tsitsi, and my opponent has Nadal and Ruud. Let's hope for the best!

It's actually a funny encounter here for both players who both played against each just a week ago in the Monte Carlo final, a game which the Greek swept Ruud in straight and fun fact is only one of their 6 H2H have not ended in straight, 4-2 in favor Tsitsipas, given that he blew Ruud away in the last game, this could be something revenge oriented affair. I find it a bit surprising that Tsitsipas is the very marginal underdog according to bookies, I expected him to be the fav here, given that recent encounter, but as you've said Ruud indeed have looked somewhat better this week, but that's against opponents that aren't Stefano right ? So it shouldn't matter, I suppose.

Do they ever consider the fans and players before casting judgement? A few people sitting in a cold room, plunging thousands of supporters and players into sadness without leaving the room - what happened to passing judgement at the start of the season and allowing them to come in with -19 points to fight their way up? I'll never be a fan of punishment in the middle of the season.

I remember you commenting on my post about simply picking upper bracket style, so yeah, surprised your picks were Heat -- that precious play will earn me a fighting chance for this round. City didn't get the second goalscorer I needed, I knew Chelsea would make it tough, still wish they won since 1-0 City win means I didn't get BSFL right nor did my Chelsea bet win, so I still need London marathon to NOT have a new record and Barca to overcome Real in El Clasico.

On any other day, I'd like my chances but I have a feeling mitchr4 is the one happier with things as Real are the favourite after all.

I agree. I really feel that these penalties happening in the middle of seasons punish fans and players the most. Owners pay a fine, no problem, they just drink a few spirits and they get on with life but the careers of players and hardworking fans who pay season tickets? Football is getting really hard to stomach it's not funny.

Damn Chelsea indeed. I make money from them every now and then but then when I actually feel confident in them (and they looked better than City at first), they cheekily rugpull my bets.

Have to say, the past couple of seasons my betting is disastrous. Back of my mind, I'm saying it's my lack of focus but front of my mind is reminding me I've always been shit and this is a reminder of that.

Even though, getting promoted to Division 2 won't be that easy since only the winners of 3A and 3B get direct promotions while other 4 have to go through playoff. But at least it looks like I'll stay at the first position as if I am not mistaken, my opponent this round can't reach me anymore.

They haven't been getting any kids from us since the sanction and the takeover as we're the ones keeping these kids now. We're more like Vitsese now. I don't care what they did but 19 points deduction on a middle of the season is crazy, the players must be feeling really down for effort waisted all season.

Chelsea don't deserve Jackson - he's the most toothless striker in Europe. Sames old story about this group of players; miss tons of chances and lose at the end. I can't even blame Poch on this one. Lol I just looked at the spreadsheet....Danm it!!!

I was sure I picked 7th and 8th teams from NBA to go through, I even openly discussed that nothing else made sense. Not sure how I ended with Bulls instead of Heat in the spreadsheet then.

Luckily for me I still won the question - but my focus is shit in these farmers leagues. I need to get promoted ASAP.

I'm very happy to maintain my lead by winning 3 points after a challenging competition with Strongkored. I'm proud of my team because of their collecting 19 points in their first 8 matches of the season. Maybe I'm going to play one of the most important matches of the season against the last champion vd309 next week. And I'm very excited because of that.

A Tsitsipas win would get me back on level terms here and I really need it.

Man City is out of the equation now, so there is only Barcelona vs Real Madrid left for the decider.

All NBA games and Manchester City results played in my favor this time, but there is tennis final question left and I will have to wait for official confirmation from cro2 team.

BSFL Cup - Season 4

This season we have 54 teams eligible for the cup. Top 10 placed teams in Division 1 after this round concludes are free. Remaining 44 teams will play qualifying round. Winners (22) plus those free will form 32 teams knockout bracket.

Following week we have 2 rounds: qualifying and round 1. Each round will have 5 questions + penalty question to resolve draws. That means everyone must enter answers in the form (those 10 free players can answer only 2nd set of 5 questions). All will be clear when you see the form tomorrow.

Draw will be made as soon as this round is over. Questions will be live tomorrow evening. Rewards will be up soon as well.

Anyway Tsitsipas delivered most of the pool's expectation so its another classic Tsitsipas - Ruud final like last week. Tsitsipas should be able to win this one given that the surface is clay. It would be epic if he win another one here after winning last week

This is the round when BSFL cup will start. It will be business as usual with qualification round where some top teams in Div 1 will be free (probably first 10). That leaves 44 teams that will battle it out for 22 spots in the cup. 22+10 gives us a nice starting point of 32 teams for perfect knockout bracket. This week will be played both qualification and first round so be ready. Treat this post as gossip, official one will follow later today or tomorrow morning at latest.
