It sucks to trail by two points, but I guess it's still doable if Roma can save me with a win against AC Milan.

I'm down by two points myself, and in a desperate situation now with just 4 question difference left between my opponent and I, a 76ers or Hawks win tonight should definitely help reduce it to a one point deficit. The Heat have however turned the game around and currently have a 12 points lead at the end of the first half, the 76ers would need a quick response here without turning the ball over as much as they did in the first half to stand a chance to get back into this game.

Also, I can't believe we're 1/3 in the season already, like the rounds are going so fast this time compared to the previous seasons.

Only two teams have 4/4, and one of them had to be my rival on round7, Roll Eyes "unforeseen" like the red card for Araújo. On the other hand, it is curious to see the Orlando Magic: Q6, I like this question because it is a classic, it is repeated every season, it is not new in the "playlist: Questions."

@arallmuus positions 7-8, they need to win one game to qualify, the loser plays with the winner of places 9-10, who to qualify must win two games, it is an improvement for the NBA to the "wild car"d  level in the MLB , it is not the same but the intention of the emotion is. Well, I mean, it's easier than e-sports.

Team @arallmuus, I remember you very well, yeah! thanks to you I am in div 3B.  Wink

I honestly dont know what to think about upcoming CL semi-final matches, they are very tricky to predict:

Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid
Dortmund vs PSG

It's going to be tricky indeed, but it's quite a more even mix now with City out, they would have been the clear-cut favorite still, I likely might just fancy the teams with a better history here.

Or maybe fate could provide us with a Real Madrid vs PSG final, a "Mbappe Thriller: The Now vs The Future."

So we who believed in the old names of Champions League got through, I would have been out of this contest if I didn't get both right, so at least I only trail by 1 goal against mitchr4 (phew). Pep must be feeling so hollow after celebrating the first save from Modric. Modric must be thanking his lucky stars too.
This was a bad night for Croatian players, first Modric missed the penalty and than Kovacic missed it for Man City, but his miss was more important.
Thanks to Real I had one small win in a single bet, this is to make me felling a little better after my catastrophic prediction week.

Still a bit sad I didn't win my Real/Bayern acca. But Citeh out makes me happy. Not bad football, now we go to the semis where we can still have a new winner, and maybe even BVB. Anyone should feel they can beat Bayern, and even Real, really.

I don't remember any other match in which Manchester City had this much difficulty in creating chances. Still they managed to extend the match with De Bruyne's goal and became the favourite of the round again.

To be fair, they had 15 corners to Real's zero at one stage, and at least 8 shots on goal, so they created chances, they weren't very good quality by their standards and just were a lot poorer at finishing them (sorry Haaland, you didn't shine).

Are you as happy as I? Wink

I was thinking that Manchester City would advance to next round by getting a comfortable win today. However Real Madrid have played quite well after the early goal they scored. notblox1, we still have 5 different answers so anything can still happen😁
I am holding on a thin string, and this was one of my worst round in BSFL in a very long time Sad
Only hope for me is if Real wins tonight against Man City, and than I should score correctly on three questions 6, 7 and 8.
Chances for that happening are very low, and we have three other answers the same.
Congrats on great play again.

It's not confusing at all for NBA followers, I guess it could be for non-followers, the play-in tournament is simply 8 teams fighting for the final 2 spot in the NBA playoffs, in a let me say UEFA Co-efficient fashion where teams from country like Estonia and Switzerland for instance will play multiple qualifying rounds to get into UCL group stage when a team from maybe France only plays one and even when they lose that are guaranteed a slot in the UEL.

Well yeah this is understandable but still pretty weird imo so basically teams that stands on 7th and 8th rank will play one more time regardless wether they lose or win isnt it? Gotta remember this the next time we got something similar like this pop up as the question again. Anyway, I still think llower and upper bracket on esports are way easier to understand for non followers though

No, 7th and 8th rank team will only play one more time if they lose their first game, so they basically need to win one game of two possible to make the playoffs, while 9th and 10th placed teams need to win 2 games to make the playoffs.

Well glad that he didnt mess this one up, another straight 2-0 for Tsitsipas

Haha. I thought the Odds wasn't for the game and for the tournament according your prior post. He probably could lose against De Minaur, if he doesn't then I'll fancy him to go all the way.

1.08 odds for him to win, its going to be silly if he lose this one

I'm stunned the odds is that low for him to win it, If there is any bookie offering the alternative Odds,

Well glad that he didnt mess this one up, another straight 2-0 for Tsitsipas

No.... That NBA result is directly opposite to what I answered. I'm starting to think that someone is looking at my answers and deliberately play the opposite of what I expected.

NBA question is precisely to give an edge to those that investigate.
If people checked how it works, I assume 95% would have the same answers. I will see when I grade it if that's the case, but I sincerely doubt it Grin

Well, I really tried to figure out how it works and I still got both first teams wrong. I guess I such at research then Grin

Or mandatory evil fee. Worked for me.

Sure, helps but if you were already out and wanted to get back in. Would be better to find a way to stop people from even getting kicked out Grin

I guess beginner's luck finally ran out. And I would say its about time as it was annoying to see you kicking ass while not really watching sports much. Cheesy

Well... It could be you are right. But it doesn't matter. I just hope my luck will turn around. If not in division 1, then definitely in division 2. And if you play good, maybe we'll compete in the next season in division 2.

I don't see why would anyone wait for tennis this week. All the favorites are playing tomorrow and only one whose match was worth seeing is over. Not gonna comment more before the deadline but really looking forward to seeing what he can do. I submitted quite early for my standards today, had to leave work a bit earlier.

I agree. I didn't want to submit yesterday just because of the tennis question. But I didn't even check the schedule. I normally always wait for Tuesday to submit when there is tennis involved.

Well the last one was tennis and it seems in BSFL this is the one most common for VAR. Its not even about whether people are playing but sudden withdrawals. In tennis many times and even in snooker it happened once already. I didn't want to wait personally but it felt important not only to confirm not to pick Zverev but Nadal but also for unexpected withdrawals Smiley
Zverev? What does he have to do with our question? He is playing Munich this week and was never even considered foe Barcelona draw.

Really looking forward to seeing Nadal play. Been too long on tour without him.

I was looking forward to that game, too. But I wasn't able to watch it unfortunately. I saw the result now and just in case anyone here saw it, was Nadal physically well? I noticed the second set was a very tough defeat. Thought at first that he might have ended the game with yet another injury or some problems. Tsitsipas is taking the lead now. Looks like this is the most likely final between him and Ruud. For those who went with Nadal, I was thinking about it but thought that even if he wins the first two rounds, the risk was there that he forfeits at some point if he feels that is the best he can do.

The simple game of chance means you go with the 4 teams that surely play another game if they lose. Any other pick is an unnecessary gamble.
I'm curious to see how many people went with the other 4 teams, my opponent went with 1 of them which gives me a statistical advantage at least.

Ahh I see what you meant now. I was was actually abit confused when I read this yesterday and now I kinda get it because Pelicans is going to play another game even when they have lost. I totally dont understand abit about how that works lol and yet people keep saying the upper and lower bracket on esports tournament are confusing but this is way more confusing for me

Now Tsitsipass needs to go all the way and win the title for me to get this point  Huh

Lower rewards always means lower interest and the Cup is their golden ticket, maybe that one will work.

Odds are 4.4 for the comeback, it's a weird feeling wanting Rafa to find a way, at the expense of my BSFL -- and I need all the points I can get now that I'm down to mitchr4 2-0...

I guess getting past De Minaur was too much to ask of him after all, It's all become a one sided affair now after De Minaur got the same early break in the second set, it's better considered a done match, it's 5-1 set advantage for Aussie, surely the end of the road for the King of Clay  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Now Tsitsipass needs to go all the way and win the title for me to get this point  Huh

King of Clay put up some fight over there even in the first set, fought back from 2-0 to break at 3 apiece, but man he looks unusually hot and bothered to me now, going to have to find a way to come up with something special. Forehands still looking fiery from him, but nothing the Aussie can't deal with so far.

Yesterday's CL games were great again, this is one of the best QF series in recent memory. Let's hope for a great set of games today as well.

Great for the neutral not great for La Liga fans. I think PSG deserve to go through anyway but the referee did not help make the game great, it could have been even better if they had 11 versus 11, IMO.

Anyway, 2-1 is my current score, I have to fightback to defeat Saint_loup, it's not looking easy, just hate it when you're down in the beginning, the rest of the week becomes pain watching lol
